Good , took 1:30 hrs to reach there from local train at howrah (₹15 - ticket)

Frequency of trains is good . Passenger amenities are well maintained. Neat and clean Station.

There are escalators in running condition...PAY & USE TOILET needs to be more clean...one SBI ATM is very close to the station. Proximity of CENTRAL BUSSTAND is one of best facilities because people use to travel MIDNAPORE BADANGANG BURDWAN GHATAL all route busses are available round the clock. I am not sure about cloakroom and the rest room is under construction since 2020. These two facilities when will start along with WIFI the station will Become Elite class station. One thing is very alarming people cross line when a GOODS RAKE is standing..I will request BOTH TO RPF AND STATION INCHARGE TO STOP THIS HIGH RISK CROSSING BY SPREADING AWARENESS IF THAT DONT WORK BOOK THEM UNDER THE SECTION AVAILABLE

After Escalator is built. I think its probably the best railway station ever. I have never seen other railway station with escalator. Wifi might also be provided in future. Biggest place to sit. Plenty of stalls of foods, cosmetics hawkers, newspapers.One of the best railway station ever.One downside is the toilets. They are literally like garbage place.
