Beautiful 7th century monastery in the village of Talin. Parts of it are badly damaged and you can just wander any where youlike. If youre on your way towards Gyumri and the north, this is worth stopping by. Not many people aware of this place.. Free to visit and no tourists .. only a few locals were there when I visited.
If you like historical places so here is very interest I g
Incredible one
TTS with Iaro and Tara been here. Must seen place in Armenia. Atmospheric and beautiful.
It is an impressive church built in the 7th century by Nerseh Kamsarakan...A small part of the church is in ruins. Also, the church does not have a dome. But, anyway, it is still impressive. Being there is good... I liked the small amount of ornaments that the church has. Also, you can see some murals inside.
Unbelievable place.
One more abandoned church, badly needed renewal
Awesome!😍😍😍
Hidden gem in Armenia and you can have the whole place for yourself.
The Cathedral of Talin (Թալինի Կաթողիկե եկեղեցի) is a seventh century Armenian cathedral located in the cemetery of Talin. It is believed to have been built in the late 7th century on the basis of architectural style. The religious complex of Talin Cathedral was founded by Prince Nerseh Kamsarakan. The building is currently a ruin, where the dome and a significant part of the west wing have since collapsed.
Talin is a great honor to have this miracle! Unique and beautiful 👍😍❤❤❤
Just a miracle 🙏🙏🙏
The cathedral is interesting only because it is ruined, but the exteriors are ordinary, inside there are no frescoes, no carvings. Near the cemetery.
A jewel of Armenian architecture
The cathedral was left without a roof
Amazing in size
