Site of Kapotika Monastery ,but eventually you cannot see any remains of it because the whole site is destructed due to mining.I dont know whether the mining is legal or illegal. Many ancient sculptures were found here and are now kept in some of the museums of India as well as abroad. This place had religious importance as Lord Buddha had spent one night at this place before proceeding further eastward towards Munger. The monastery was established here under the patronage of a Srilankan king. Every bit of it is devastated till now. We pity Biharis dont deserve his blessings and these kind of heritage. One thing is for sure is that we people are very good at destroying our own heritage and disrespecting our own history. Shame on us.
