EXCELLENT HOSPITALITYI was fortunate to have an extended stay at your hotel as part of my work commitments. The property is well-maintained, food was great, but what makes this place outstanding is the top notch hospitality. You can feel the warmth as soon as you step into the hotel. The staff is always ready to help and have a can do attitude. I had the opportunity to interact with many of the housekeeping, front desk & the food and beverage team members, and I must tell you that they make you feel at home. Thank you team for the wonderful hospitality!!! Keep it up!

Of course an good place to visit in Surat. Food was good and the steward was very gentle. However, I felt a difference in the standards between Surat and in other Metropolitan cities. The property at Surat is very old and needs maintenance to make it upto the class of Marriott. The washrooms especially poor standard.

Nice rooms with river view. But the classic room category was not value for money. They should upgrade it. I have stayed in all categories of their rooms. The suit was very comfortable and cozy.

It is best 5 star hotel in Surat city and is well located in the heart of city- Athwalines. Connectivity towards Railway Station and Airport is hassle free. Excellent food especially breakfast lot of options to have on. Great stay and finally well equipped GYM.

My stay was good. But poor response of your reception desk .I have stayed at your hotel previously on 23-24 august , room no 509. I have forgotten my new IPhone charger in the room. On 24 August I called from kolkata to your hotel abd they replied -we will let you know after checking, but no response received even after 3times I called .This time on 6th October I checked in at 10 pm and again I enquired about my iPhone charger . The person attended me tell that I will check and tell you in the morning.In the morning at 8am again I asked, they told finish your breakfast and come . After breakfast mr Sudhansu at reception told you come with your luggage I am checking. At 9.00 when I came he showed me someone else charger . I told please check properly and in front of me he checked and said yes it is registered in lost and found register . Please wait for 5 minutes, I will give you your charger . I have their half an hour , even I was getting late for my business meeting.At 9.40 mr Sudhansu said we are not getting, it will take some time time . So I will courier your charger at your address today itself.On 8th from kolkata I called mr Sudhanshu several times but he did not responded.On 9th I called again in the morning then Heta at your reception picked up phone and she told Sudhansu is absent and then I again described the whole matter . She told sir, today by 12 I will send it by courier positively .But no response yet , neither they have sent nor they are picking my phone .Very very disappointing. 😒

The air purifier in the room had filter fault. Notified the reception but 24 hours down the line, no one bothered to fix it. The room is supposed to be a suite.... need attention to detail.

Decent stay, good staff. Must commend F&B team including Amit who went out of their way to make sure that the stay was pleasant. Ease of Check in and Check out with a healthy ans a heavy breakfast option.

The staff was very good, just that there was a wedding in the hotel and the guests were all over the hotel and no covid protocols were taken care of, which made the entire stay very risky thats why we restricted out movement. No one was wearing masks which has put us on great risk to the extent on reaching back we have self quarantined our selves at home.

Mr Sudhanshu Pandey at the Reception and Mr Govin in the Breakfast area deserve special mention for caring. Love to get room upgrade all the time from a regular room to river facing one. Also food is amazing.

Security system really very good, but they have to allow guest of guest with allow of his guest which person have room there. All over very good staff and very good service, i visited as guest of guest but they do over drama for meeting.

Very thoughtfully build property and amenities as well. Spacious and comfy rooms with Dammadus river view. Room service is bit of a issue might be because of staff shortage. Food is yumm and well cooked.Would like to have management attention towards swimming pool. Pool is not cleaned and stingy though it is operational.

The representatives at the Club Marriott program are very consistent in giving the most inhospitable experience to customers. Watch out before you enroll. Even the hotel phone numbers are often unattended.

One of the worst hotel i have ever visited in my 17 years of travel. There is no respect for guest at all. At the time of check in we have to repeatedly tell the people to take our luggage. At the time of check out also, after reminding for three times no one came to pick up the luggage so finally we have to pick our luggage and went to desk for check out. The live music was so bad and loudly that it was difficult to talk. The cleanliness was pathetic and the room itself was not properly cleaned.

The experience was good, food has improved drastically after takeover from taj , one suggestion is , they can have live music also and should tie up with zomato for table reservation we have to wait for an hour on Sunday for our turn. Ala-carte menu too small hence you are forced to go for buffet option.Buffet menu is good with wide range of option they need to assign tables to take care for or have QR code based web portal to call /ask for someone being industry leader they should innovate rather than waiting for others to do and than try to copy .Overall a good experience.

We had the experience of dealing with your efficient staff, perserverance and compassion displayed on them. Your staff has been overwhelming. They remained focussed and confident that they would achieve the delivery timeline. This was really not convincing but it was giving a good name of Surat Marriott Hotel.

I was here for a night on my business trip to Surat. Nice property, though did not get a chance to explore the property. Neat and clean property. Quick check in though hotel looked like sold out. Rooms are nice and well maintained. Spacious enough. Bathrooms very well maintained. They give necessary toiletries. Two small bottle of water with tar and coffee supply. Pillows and bed nice and comfy. Towels were fresh. Rooms are not quite and lot of noise one can hear of guests as well as cleaning staff. Laundry services are till 8pm. Ask for river view rooms.Breakfast spread was good with decent variety of Veg and non Veg.Lobby are is big and nicely maintained.Used in room dining, fish and chicken preparation was good. Mutton seekh kebabs were terrible. Paneer Tikka, Paneer was very hard. Dal khichdi average.Coffee shop nice with decent variety. Masala Chai was good.

Tired, when I checked into Marriott Surat at night, it was nice to see cordial staff and good food after a long travel. Unfortunately they dont have valet, probably due to the pandemic, but that was a minor inconvenience. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food Surat was good. Unfortunately we were very late, but the staff was kind enough to ask us and get things from pantry, where not available in the spread. Morning, we had to check out very early, so enjoyed the wholesome breakfast and left. A pleasant stay!

It seems like even reviews are paid. The hotel is worst. Rooms are not at all like 5 star rooms. If you want to evidence that by yourself, book for one day and you will know. Service is sad, the guy at the reception is rude. Room service does not even answer calls immediately.The duty manager, sudhanshu has attitude, he says he is busy hence cant attend the customer, doesnot have manners.
