Food is Excellent. Location is good. Prices are OK. A must try place for all Indians when they visit Moscow. The Restaurant Manager from Assam Mr. Duke Roy is a very hospitable person. Really handles the guest very well. I would love to recommend this restaurant to my colleagues and friends. Thumbs up to DARBARS Restaurant, Moscow.

I am a delivery customer - yet to visit the restaurant in person. But all is good with the food and the service which is efficient and friendly. There are few Indian restaurants in Moscow - I confidently recommend this one as a pleasant and authentic experience

The service was excellent and atmosphere was good. The food tastes good as well. I tried the hydrabadi biryani, which tasted very average and similar to what you can find in other restaurants.

Right now I am in Russia & eating my dinner here in Darbars indian restaurant.Its a very good option for we Indians,very nice place, good decor & the above all hindi songs they keep playing all the time.Soni & Mehek ,the gals were very nice & helpful .They made our stay easier here in Moscow foodwise.

Food was ok-ok. Service wasn’t good when we visited. However, the belly dancer that performs every few mins was a nice addition.

Why 2-stars:1. The worst part was, the main manager taking the order was in such a hurry to take the order as though he had to catch a flight, which made me it uncomfortable to ask for recommendations.2. My Russian Friend who I got here was petrified seeing cockroaches under our Table & around the sugar box when she ordered tea. Not a hygienic place at all.3. Pricing seemed a little high, but I guess Moscow is an expensive city, so cant say this for sure.4. The Food wasnt excellent, but fairly decent, though the Chicken Biryani had few chicken pieces.I definitely wont come here again. I wouldve given a 1-star, but the extra star is for the fairly decent, if not excellent food.

It is not the same restaurant which I visited few years back. Lot of changes.Food Rates are high and doesnt justify for the quantity and taste. The day we visited was having a Manager who is doing everything. Getting orders, giving food and bill.No other staffs... Lot of confusion in food orders also. Pathetic service. May be it is because of shortage of staffs during my visit.

The Restaurant is situated on 1st & 2nd floors. It has a nice Ambience with a mixture of Traditional Indian Colourful Interiors. The food was okish, lacked authentic flavours, the staff was friendly but service was slow & poor. We had four meals in 3 days & each time expecting an improvement but it remained same. It is the nicest place to dine in....serves really delicious Indian food,....the best thing about the place is the staff over there, it was so overwhelming to get discount when they got to know that I am an Indian and one of my Russian friends was there to get some food items packed for me as I reside in another region where there is no single Indian restaurant around in the 800 km range I can go to ....They treated my friend very well and also answered me on phone very well and made me feel really good by providing such a wonderful service ... I am really grateful for their kindness and service......and delighted that they have made it possible to have Indian food in Russia. I strongly recommend this place to everyone travel to Moscow.

Air conditioning was poor. Even thought when we came there were a few people, we had to wait a lot even for the drinks to arrive. So the service was slow. The food quality is good, but the overall experience was bad due to slow service.

Worst indian food and worst service in moscow. Never ever come here , paprika at Domodedova is far better than this. ordered Rava dosa and got the map of some country.

Very disappointed. Poor quality meat. Glacially slow service (10 mins waiting to be served, same time for bill -asking for it 4 times) and at only 5.30pm with more staff than guests. Great number of dishes and desserts unavailable. Dirty interior. Toilets without sinks. Now its on the ground floor and seriously unappealing to visit. Real shame. Will not visit again.

An excellent place for a leisurely evening!Love going there with gf and/or friends. Quiet, calm, well decorated.The staff is polite and welcoming, though sometimes could forget one of the dishes you order, which only makes it better fit the tranquil Eastern atmosphere of the place.The food is perfect for those who are familiar with Indian cuisine, at the same time most dishes are spice-wise friendly for neophytes.Portions and servings are large enough, so its better to order several dishes for a company and share.A good substantial dinner for 4 costs something up to $100 or 6000 rubles, which makes Darbars a truly wonderful and affordable experience with superb quality of food.

Very Bad Experience! Hotel manager is refuse to serve only because of he received phone call from one travel group…..it looks that he only interested to make big money….By hook or by crook…….This happen twice with me, even though we occupied seat checked menu, waiter told us… it will take some time to serve you & suddenly manger comes in the picture and said “NO…NO I can’t serve you…..You can check other India Hotel on Google”……Moment of truth is that please don’t waste your time & money in Moscow with this hotel for Indian food.

Excellent Indian Cuisine

Huge portions (unlike most places in Moscow) of tasty food. Attentive staff, but not overly so. We went there to celebrate my friends birthday, and she was forewarned that ladies are to wear dresses (even though we saw men wearing shorts and T-shirts). Reservations are also recommended. Will return but order less food, or rather pack a box to go. )

Service takes forever, you get to pour your beer from a bottle into a glass provided ONCE. Inconsistent dish quality served at a room temperature. Dont waste your time and money.

The food was generally good, the variety was also wide. However, service was absolutely abysmal.At 9.15 pm, with the restaurant at 25% capacity, there was a gap of more than 45 minutes between the drinks of the two individuals arriving (the second drink was only bought out after asking if they had forgot it or not)The starter took around 20 minutes, which was not so bad. However, once these were finished, it took a another 25 minutes on top for the starters to arrive. Even then, they side did not come together. First, arbitrary, the curry dish arrived. Then 10-15 minutes later, the bread arrived.Upon waiting for the final starter, we had to ask again whether they had forgotten the order or not. With a very confused response, and another 15 minutes later, the accompanying mains finally arrived. Almost two hours spent at the restaurant, with around half the time waiting for accompanying dishes to arrive. It would probably help in the future if the waitress did not take the order on a napkin.Good food spoilt by extremely poor attention and service. I would hate to think how bad the service is when the restaurant had more customers.

K cannot rate more than this. We had to wait for 1 hour to get our food. No one was attending us. Food is not tasty enough to call it indian. They need a better chef.

As we visited Moscow darbar restaurant inlast two days, I liked to review for that,This really good restaurant,first this onroadside,and they have two floor for sitting ,decor is decent.Staff and services are good.As we are Jain they served as nice good,according to our requirementFood tastes were good.They served as very good way.Quantity is also good.I must say as a vegetarian plus Jain must gothere..

One of the worst taste I ever had in an Indian restaurant, tasteless and expensive.Had ordered naan which was over baked with dark puff, in dal makhni there isn’t makhan and dal was just boiled and mixed with tomoto and onion paste , deeply disappointed.And the last one vegetable biryani !! Oh my god !! Have u ever had plain rice with chili powder with boil vegetables !! And too much of turmeric powder,I deeply and sincerely and seriously would like to recommend restaurant management to please do not use the word “India” for ur worst dishes.RegardsSyed

There was an Indian staff full of attitude as if he is directly reporting to some prime minister. He was behaving very nicely with all the foreigners but was very rude with Indians. Such a shame. The food was below average but I wont say it was expensive as you are getting indian food in a different country. There was a Napali Manager and he was a nice chap. That Nepali manager is the only USP of that restaurant. That indian waiter was such a shame.

The food was good, the pricing is great too if you get the coupon from Frendi or Biglion, youd get a 50% off.
