This is Hindu temple having very good history, from this temple the street name also given ad Hanuman Sheri (street).Temple is almost 250+ years old & this street also very famous as Mahatma Gandhi during his Salt satyagraha, or say Dandi March,he passed though this street.Mahatma Gandhi addressed a gathering here during On the way to Dandi March.So one can understand as this street name is mentioned in the history of Indian freedom struggle.
