Surat district alone has about 60 CNG stations and there are about 291 stations across the state operated by GGL. He added, “At present, the average service charge payable by the GGL comes to at about Rs 2.6 per kg and we are demanding that it be increased to Rs 3.17 per kg.”It must be noted that last year during the same period, the CNG fuelling stations had threatened one-day strike, but it was called off due to unknown reasons.
