Visited on 31st July 2019. Bought Surti Batasa (Rs250 / Kg) and Ghee Nankhatai (Rs 640 / Kg). Stuff was OK, nothing exceptional. Can get stuff that is at least as good in several shops in Mumbai. Place is clean. Staff helpful. Nankhatai & Batasa pics attached.

Dotiwala bakery is legendary. The baked goods are delicious and fresh. I took some or the things as sample but regretted it later for not taking it in kilos.

It is one of the oldest bakery of the city. It has a legacy of British time. Bakery items they sell are of quite good in quality. They have even monopoly in some certain items. They sale both veg and non veg items too in the same shop and might be producing / preparing them in the same trays and ovens by the same workers. Though it is my personal concern only. Jain and Swaminarayan people may avoid this place. The location of the place is at a place that always stinks around. Apart from these, one should visit this place for some good bakery stuff.

Oldest bakery in Surat!! Pure ghee NANKHATAI is best,lots of variety of kharis,try JAM KHARI and dont forget to buy whole wheat pure ghee NANKHATAI (cost around 600rs/kg). But they dont sell eggless cack😞.
