I visited this place in monsoon session lot of mosquito and wear shoes.FYI, Entry fees are 50rs...Please do carry odomas(mosquito repellent cream) with you- a person who had 16 mosquito bites with in an hour 🥺

Amazing Place for Nature lover. Also a good place for Bird watchers and bird photographer. In Gavier lake you can find 160 ~170 bird spices. You can also found so many butterfly spices at here. Nature Club Surat is tacking care of this place. Visiting time is Morning 7:00 to 12:00 noon only on Sunday. Peaceful place. This place is accessible for wheelchair. Easy to drive here in car.

Wonderful place in a city moving towards urbanisation.Best example of urban forest and biodiversity with many species of mammals, reptiles, birds, butterflies and native trees.Should be restored, maintained under any circumstances.No development should be allowed for atleast 500 meters of its periphery.Thanks to the Nature club of Surat to maintain such a beautiful place for nature lovers.

A small lake where various kinds of migratury birds visit in winter. There is a walk way around the lake with is very cerene and enjoyable. This place is maintained by Surat Nature Club. They have also kept binoculars for the public to view the birds.

Extremely unprofessional staff asks for donation and also imposes to pay a fixed donation rate. Wont mind to pay but should use word FEE rather than donation. Staff and owner (lady) behaved so arrogantly.
