Best bike shop ever since they are working on my Cannondale fully suspended Rize carbon one with a Lefty shock. Amazing professionalism and very courteous and knowledgeable!They work with state of the art equipment and also help people like me with older incredible bikes. I have never seen a shop so versatile, whether I was living in Brooklyn or San Diego!
Good place, reasonable pricing. But, they dont believed in wearing masks during this crazy COVID times. Ive been here a few times and the employees just dont wear masks. Am at the shop now and they have a sign that states a mask is required when entering, yet employees are not wearing their masks. And theres guys hanging at the workshop counter with a beer and no masks.
I’ve used these guys a few times over the years and never had a problem with customer service or the service dept. I recently purchased a 2021 Levo Turbo and the staff were excellent in showing me everything about the bike. Highly recommend. Raphael was VERY responsive to any questions I had.

Bought a bike from them yesterday. I had to drive from 3 hours away to get it because they were the only shop in the state that had a stumpjumper comp alloy. Rode it right after and the front rotor was rubbing the brake after about mile 5 on the trail. Called megacycle and the shop owner said I could take it to my local shop and he would reimburse me so that I didnt have to drive 3 hours back down for them to do it. He didnt even hesitate and gave me his personal cellphone number. AWESOME customer service. Thank you.

My first purchase from this business was a Stumpjumper St 29” 2019, 5 months ago and I could not have been happier with my current set up. Although originally I was looking at the Tallboy 29” after discussing the different benefits of each bike with the staff along with riding styles I decided to go with my current shorter wheelbase model. Jeremy and Frank are my go to guys, but overall the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their merchandise and have been very helpful with maintenance questions, parts compatibility and just overall tips you’d expect from people in the game this long. Great business and just 2 miles from the best mountainbike trails in south Florida, can’t beat it

Ive been a customer for several years, mostly for tune ups and the occasional new tire. While I dont hold bike shops to super-high customer service standards, this one gets a below-average grade. My experience has been average quality work (tune ups not quite right/forget a request) and below-average customer service (front desk help is not helpful; no contact when bike is ready because they forgot to write my phone number). This last visit they couldnt be bothered to mask-up and the tech, upon hearing that my last tune up (that the shop did) wasnt right told me I should have tightened the chain (or something like that) - nope, you should have. Bottom line - great location, but thats about it.
I took my sons bicycle here because one of the brakes didnt work well and one of the reflectors was broken. I was told it was going to be repaired in 15 minutes; when I came back the same person told me he had a lot of work and I had to come back the next day. I did, and I was surprised to know that both brakes had been repaired so I had to pay for both (I had planned to pay only for one). The reflector was not fixed because this and that. I took the bike outside to find out one of the brakes didnt work. I had to take it inside again, it took one minute to fix (which scared me). Im never going back.

By far the worst bicycle store I´ve ever experienced. I went there today with one of our daughters. She was so excited. We planned spending anything between $1200-1500 for a nice and safe bicycle for her. The staff was not only impolite, but simply rude and arrogant. Although there were some suitable bicycles, they could not be bothered showing them to us. Both the young woman and man who work there need a lot of training and coaching about what customer service is and how to assist a young customer to find a bicycle. We went then to Alex´s Bicycle Pro Shop - which is also in Weston - which offered great consultation and services. The way you´d expect it when going to any store. We got a very nice bicycle for her there. Alex´s our bicycle store from now on.
I read the reviews for Mega cycle and Alexs bike shop. I called Mega first and they told me they were running 2 weeks behind for repairs. I then called Alexs and after 5 minutes or so and moving to next in the queue, they hung up on me. So I went to Mega expecting to drop off the bike. Approached the repair counter and the gentleman working on a bike, stopped what he was doing to look at my issue and within 15 minutes fixed my problem and had me out the door, for $15.00 in labor. Incredible bike shop, incredible technicians and the BEST customer service EVER. I would definitely recommend Mega over any other bike shop, especially Alexs
On 11/04/20 I walked in around 1:30pm to get a couple of tires and tubes and I was not welcomed when walked in. There was a young man in the front that I did not know worked there until I asked for help, he sends me to the back where the bike mechanic was at and the bike mechanic had me wait even though there were two other workers. After waiting a few minutes, I decided this place would not get a dime from me even though I had 3 bikes to repair. I rather take my business to somewhere they value customer service. I have never left a negative review but I feel I owe it to the people to let them know that this place has garbage customer service.
I had bought a Santa Cruz Superlight in August of 2016 and it was my favorite bike. Three months ago I had cracked the rear triangle. The guys at Mega helped me out and got me on a new Tallboy 3 CC. Super nice guys! I am extremely grateful for this and will forever remember it. Thank you MegaCycle and Julian for kicking butt over there.
Was charged $16 for “labor” (plus $11 for sealant) for just putting sealant on ONE of my tires.
Customer Service is the highest value to me. Whenever my bike has a problem its usually discovered just before I need it on a weekend ride. Raffa @ Megacycle has Always found a solution to get me back on the gravel or trail asap. We have purchased 3 bikes there have referred them to all of our friends.
This place is great. The staff was super friendly and helpful! I stopped in to check it out while I was in the area, and ended up leaving with a new bike for my nephew. They had an amazing selection of bikes from A-Z, in all price points. Aside from purchasing a bike, they also did a tune up on my Santa Cruz, and Cannondale. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in South Florida looking for a nice bike shop.
Purchased a bike a few months ago from this location. Brought it in because the gear shifting was not working properly and the dropper post cable broke. Was told parts are covered under warranty but I would have to pay for labor. Was given a written quote for $23.When I picked the bike up the guy that rang me up said $45. When I questioned him why it was so much he got and attitude and said “fine $23”. Make sure you have your written quote they give you because it is obvious they will try and up charge you for no apparent reason.He could not provide me with a reason why the up charge.
Im a newbie when it comes to gravel and road cycling. So, I knew i wanted to be all in and become more serious about cycling. So, I visit a few stores around Broward County area and also did some extensive research on the internet to get an better idea of what direction I wanted to go when it comes to buying a bike. When I visited Mega Cycle and met Simon, he was very resourceful. But he also took time to find the perfect bikes for me and explained all the best deals that the store has to offer. I revisit the store a week later and this time I met Jeremy. Jeremy took my purchase experience to the next level and made it very enjoyable, pleasant and extremely comfortable. He never made me felt pressured to purchase anything in the store and he wanted to make sure I fully understood every single details along the way. This young man will has a bright and energetic future ahead of him. Here again Im a newbie and he took the time on instructed me on how to ride the my new bike. Jeremy spoke well about every staff member in Mega Cycle store and he was right about each one of the staff. I highly recommend Mega Cycle for your cycling experience, your purchases and service. I would expect to be acknowledged upon walking in the door and past 3 employees but that didnt happen. They were too engaged in their computers and each other to even care that I was looking to buy a bike. Even when I did ask for help I got an attitude thrown my way and the young lady behind the counter told me she will find someone to help me. That never happened but the couple who walked in 10 minutes after me and asked the same question I did got a response. I finally was asked if I needed anything as I walked out the door. 5 employees watched me wonder the shop and could careless that I needed assistance to purchase a bike even after I asked for help.

5 star experience - clean shop, good selection, and great customer service. Jeremy offered to go out of his own way to rent his own personal bicycle to me for the weekend since the shop didn’t offer a rental that fit my needs at the current time. Total class act and will be back in the future for cycling-related needs!
Spent over $1,000 there on a bike and accessories yesterday. Salesman was very nice. However rode bike for 13 miles and had a flat tire this morning. I know u can get a flat at any time, but there was no evidence of anything in the tire, nor was there any sharpe object pointed out to me when I brought bike back today. They didn’t charge me labor but they did for the tube....not very customer friendly. Wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend them to my friends who are also purchasing bikes now.
Looking for a local bike shop for support with my wife & two relative’s bikes. I read through the reviews & determined I will not give this place a try.One reviewer from two months ago (Abbe) who spent a $1,000 gave a negative review & the response was rude, implied the customer suggested the bike shop did something to cause a flat when the reviewer did not, & was pretty dismissive. Defensive much?But the shop response to me that determined I will not step in this small business was the response regarding face masks. A bike shop is not deemed essential unless I’m mistaken, so being open during this tough pandemic & being quadruple busy is a blessing. But if you have that many more foot traffic coming in, you’ve quadrupled the chances of a non-mask wearing infected customer coming into an establishment with no mask requirement & perhaps unknowingly spreading it. Or an employee potentially contracting the virus during non-business hours & bringing it in to share because masks apparently are not required at this non-essential small business per the governor (based on Alina’s reply from the shop).I won’t take that chance of putting myself or my family at risk if this shop openly promotes not taking safety precautions. Good luck & stay healthy.

Was there today to purchase a bike. Found one used bike that I liked and agreed on price with rep and I already checking out and swiped my card when the rep canceled my transaction because some customer might pay better price. So they gave the bike I already agreed to purchase and was paying for it to some guy to go drive around. Did he bought it or not I dont know because I walked out. This is not how you treat paying customer. Lost my business.Answering to the response. That is BS what you saying. It did not have a deposit. He just tried to get more money out of it.
Really bad experience today. I have been a loyal customer for more than 5 years. Today I wanted to upgrade my bike son trading 2 bikes that I had bought before ($250 and $300 original price) I came one week ago and got a trade offer for one bike $75. And now I came with the 2 bikes, and they offered me $60.
Jeremy did a great job listening and showing us the best deal based on the components we wanted. Simon is also great to work with, both of them are very knowledgeable.
Bought a entry level kids mountain bike a few months ago. Roughly a few weeks after the sale, noticed that both wheels needed to be trued up. The bike has not seen any trails, just local kid street riding. I figured it happens, brought it back and the mech took care of it. Unfortunately, this continued to happen on a regular basis. I ended up taking the bike back a few times but in the end the manager took care of me and did the right thing.

Horrible experience!!! Rude service!!! Young kid with ear ring on his cell phone, super rude, lazy and knows absolutely nothing about nothing!!! I called in advance if someone can help me to mount a tire for me today.He was so busy on his phone that he told me they are backed up 3 weeks on service that no one can help me after I drove here for 30 minutes and that he doesnt need the business.Unbelievable!!! Dont waste your time coming to this shop!!! Luckily I found other bike shop in town that wlhad great service and helped me so I did not waste my day!

New to South Florida, I needed to find a good bike shop to establish with. Was having an issue with a Schrader inner tube that kept failing. Was able to get a nice replacement within minutes from MC and the bike is back in business. Nice to have a local shop with great selection !

Great customer service. These guys are on top of it! Took my two mtn bikes in for service. They were ready in two days! And they have a lot of bikes in there they are servicing. Also a LARGE variety of new and used bikes to choose from if youre in the market. Good place to go.
In November of 2019 I started riding with my kids for the new Florida NICA team, Broward County Composite Mountain bike team. I also became a NICA coach so I could ride with he kids. NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) is an organization that gives kids great opportunity through cycling. Team practice started in December and by then both kids had destroyed their bikes. I was faced with spending $800 minimum of just a couple of sets of rims and tires. They showed up at their first practice missing spokes. I went to Mega Cycle for some safety gear and met Rafael. He helped me get both of they kids on competitive bikes for not much more than it would have cost to repair their old bikes. The best part of the story is, the same weekend we got the bikes they were having the Bad Habit race at Markham. Rafael encouraged me to enter with the kids. I was skeptical because the kids were only used to about 10 miles training and had not ridden their new bikes. Not only was Rafael right to tell us to race, but in the race everyone from the shop remembered and encouraged me and the kids. Rafael, Jeremy, and Simon really pumped us up on the trails. Both kids ended up taking podium that day. My daughter (12) took first and my son (13) took home 3rd. Before they never rode more than 10-12 miles in a sitting. My daughter rode 19 miles and my son rode 32 miles. I really appreciate the great deal on the bikes, but the racing experience was priceless. In the last month Rafael has also taken care of the little things like adjustments, truing the rims, tubes, the things you need to keep competitive. I would highly recommend MEGA CYCLE. I wont go anywhere else.

I want to start out by saying that I try to support the LBS first before heading to the land of low cost, but no service on the internet. Ive purchased many high end carbon fiber road and mountain bikes over the years from shops in Broward (please dont tell my wife what they really cost - haha) and will usually make my decision based on price and customer support. This past Christmas I purchased a Cannondale bike for my wife from Megacycles. The initial transaction was very easy and I was satisfied with the price.After riding the bike a few times we noticed there was a squeaking coming from one of the pedals. Simon from the shop went above and beyond what would be expected and solved the problem My wife is back on the bike and happy, which makes me happy.
Took my wife’s bike there to have the shifters replaced and new tires installed. They had it for almost 3-weeks and did NOTHING to it. Horrible experience.

Good service, polite and quick with repairs. Took our daughters bike in to get a tube changed. Cost 16$ for tube and labor. Took 10 minutes. Happy with service but the register fella is very slow to act. It took another 10 to check out with only one person in front of us.
Terrible experience every time I’ve been to this place. They missed out on a $3000 purchase of a new bike because of their service. People that work here seem not interested in helping you at all. Went to the Trek store in Sunrise and bought my new bike there. Way better experience. I have came to this store to purchase parts and the service has always been terrible, not clue how they stay in business. Definitely better stores out there, avoid this place.
Great Shop all around! They have great American brands that other bike shops dont (Specialized, SantaCruz, SE Bikes) and they have walls full of accesories. They even price match and try to get you the best rates.I purchased a Specialized Epic Comp in November 2017 and i got a full tune up included. I have gone to the store several times and I am always greeted and helped out . They have even helped me with tips to do my own installations and repairs. Visit the shop and check them out!

Have bought two bikes here, the last one a month back. Good prices on the bikes. Terrible service though. They just walk past you like youre not there. I went back to buy a bike pump, guy helped me a bit, I said I needed a tube too, he wandered off and never came back, start talking on the phone instead. Walked past by me ignoring me even though I was waving at him. Very rude. The repair techs spend their time watching youtube videos and laughing, and hard to get their attention too. Once they help you, they are knowledgeable and good, but very strange attitude. I saw others being ignored too, wasnt just me. I had a bad experience with the repair service, too, like three years back. Had brought the bike in, they said they would do it that day, I come back at end of day, and they hadnt done it. I said Ill take the bike anyways, that I may bring it back another day if need be, and they go outside, and pull my bike out from under a tarp with a bunch of other bikes. They store the bikes outside! It had rained that afternoon, the tarp helped a bit, but it had gotten wet. Not cool! I vowed to never take a bike there for service again. Nonetheless, I went back recently because they had a good deal on a road bike, and I got it there, and am happy with the bike. Just not the service.

Call the shop and ask about a specific tire. The person repeated back to me the exact choice of tire and said they had it in stock. I drove 20 miles to the store to find out that it was the wrong version of the tire. It could have been a simple mistake, but it did not resonate with me well. I gave them two stars instead of one because it could have been a mistake, but I felt like it wasnt.

Terrible service!!! STAY AWAY. Took my bike in on a Friday for a tune up and was told it would be ready by Sunday. Went to the shop right before closing on Sunday as I never received a call and saw my bike untouched just as I left it. Next day comes around(Monday) no call receive around 6:00pm I call the shop again. Was attended by Daniel who assured my bike would be done by the next day. Tuesday comes and no phone called received by 6:00 pm again. I call the shop again and the mechanic begins to spin his web of lies about how I had not brought my bike in until Monday then he goes on to admit that no work had been done during the 5 days they had the bike. Overall terrible experience they have lost me as a customer also if you do chose to do business with them be wary of their predatory practices.

Been coming to MegaCycle since 1994. The owner Cy is very nice guy and he has knowledgeable and helpful staff ready to get you riding. They have a big selection of cruisers, mountain bikes and road bikes. Plenty of accessories too. Ive purchased a Specialized Epic Comp Carbon mountain bike, a couple of Electra cruisers and a Specialized Venge S-Works. I continue to take my bikes for tune-ups and repairs to the shop...the tune-up is about $60 but totally worth it l- my bikes always come out looking brand new after the tune up.

What a great experience, they gave me a great deal on my Cannondale and I purchased online The bike was shipped the same day and arrived at my door 2 days later I will deffently be contacting them in the future for other bike purchases.
As a big celebration, my husband decided to treat himself to a brand new carbon fiber bike, pretty much unlimited budget. He went to Megacycle today, credit card in hand, his pickup truck with him so he could take it home - ready to buy. He got there, waited 5 minutes and went to find someone - they said theyd be with him shortly - after half an hour of him just standing around waiting, nobody bothered to go back to talk to him - he noticed someone else came in after him and someone went up to him to take care of him - my husband felt completely ignored so he left. He went to Alexs Bikes and bought a Cervelo S5. Thats what happens when you ignore your customers! He bought all the other stuff too, garmin, new pedals, new shoes, new wheels - walked out $7000 and change and excited. Glad Megacycle is doing so well they can treat customers like that!

They didn’t call as they said they did, they charged for something we didn’t ask them to change, they put on hold every time we called asking for the status. I would never take my bike there again....!!!!!
In the beginning to sell you the bike they will offer you the world say that the bike has warrantee but when you bring it they act like you are bothering them just to fix a flat tire and they will let you know if you can leave it there to take the bike somewhere else wow!

Ive been going to them for minor things since I bought my first road bike from them. When I came back after a while it looked like someone else was running the shop. When I bought a used tri bike from them one of the guys there (Daniel) said he would do a fitting. I thought he did an accurate fitting although it seemed quick. A month later a mechanic from a Miami Bike store explained to me that the bike was in dire need of a tune up as he showed me things that were in need of service. The Miami mechanic ended up doing an even more precise fitting than Daniel. Id recommend getting a 2nd opinion from what they tell you.
Another bad experience with this store. Unfortunately we dont have other store that carries Specilized brand quite close so if you need something quick, has to stop there. Bike Shops are probably the only kind of store that can survive over the online market because they have the technical support and service. If you dont offer that, what is the point?? Went to buy a tire, though to believe about the answer, never told me that they charge $10 for replace it and forgot about my promised discount.
