Gave wrong order, and when I mentioned, they didnt even apologize or ask to change. Didnt even serve water until I asked. Food quality is also poor, I dont think I need to come here again. How can this restaurant have so many good reviews?
I wanted to eat paani-poori so hubby suggested Radhe Chaat in S’vale! A small little place in a corner. We ordered paani-poori, aloo Tikku with chhole, masala poori with sookhi aloo ki sabzi and chana saag.Chana saag was little too salty and the paani-poori water was stale. The paani pooris were so small that it seemed that the restaurant wants to cut corners to save on them but have a wrong approach.I wonder 🤔🤔🤔🤔 why Indian restaurants do not serve their customers nicely.Aloo tikki chhole was good. How I wish if they give sabzi with little salan(curry) it will be whole lot easier to push down the throat.I will give them 3 stars.#radhechaat #papiha #deliciousdisheswithpapiha #papihatv #papihanandy #pnbc #radhechaatvegeterianrestaurant #vegetarian #food #foodie #paanipoori #chaat
The place seems to have improved a lot since I visited earlier few years ago.The food was fresh, and tasted authentic. Service was good as well. Delightful experience overall.
Nice chaats, friendly service, typical taste of India at reasonable prices..
Not at all good food, we ordered cholley bhature & Ragda patties and both items were half cooked, moreover the person at front desk was so so slow and was not showing any interest in taking order…i m sure i m not going there again ever
They have degraded exponentially in terms of food quality and taste. Wont recommend.
Taste is Comparable to Delhi chaat when were still in the truck. This place serves more than just chaat. You can get here for dinner as well and would not be surprised by the options they have.
The paratha are great. Our toddler loves them too. They also make great bhindi. .. definitely try them out.
Just dined here this evening. Restaurant was clean and there was sufficient room between tables to feel safe. We ordered the Snack combo (sev batata dahi puri, paani puri, and chai), the Chaat basket, and Shrikhand puri. The chaat items were all fresh and delicious. However, all of them tasted quite similar since the same mixture of potatoes, black/kaala chana, and moong sprouts was included in large quantities in all 3 chaat items. If this mixture had been used sparingly, it might have made the items more unique. The chai was hot and lovely. The Shrikhands consistency was wonderful but it wasnt nearly sweet enough. A little more sugar would make it a total delight. The puris were fresh but a little low on the salt. All in all, this was a flavorful, healthy meal which could be better with a few tweaks. Will be happy to return here in the future. Very reasonably priced food and total value-for-money.
My new favorite! Delicious Chaat and very affordable. Parantha is delicious and so is sabudana khichdi
Original Radhe Chaat was one of our familys favorite restaurants in South Bay for Chaat and parathas. However, it was burnt due to a fire accident in the complex and they had licensed the name to other owners in Cupertino which was never met the original quality nor had the menu items with Sabudhana on it. Food was really good when I had it during the last trip in the new location near Wolfe and El Camino Real. Place is a bit crammed and staff are relatively new and have a difficult time addressing simple issues request for water or add-ons. Their kitchen is also near the billing counter creating a bottle neck for service. Sabudhana Kichdi and Shrikand Poori are my favorites here
We took samosa chat and papdi chat its average in taste but good to try out once for a change
Good food, Fast and friendly service. Decent price.
It is small restaurant on ElCamino. Not too much seating, but with quick service. Just vegetarian choices, food tastes great, staff is friendly. I enjoyed their chaat, pav bhaji, masala poori and dry fruit lassi. They all tasted great. Also ordered pani poori, water was too salty. Prices are great, would recommend this restaurant.
We have tried every new Radhe, since the one in Santa Clara closed. This one cones closest to replicating the taste and menu. The chaat basket and samosa tasted fresh. Try the palak paneer, baingan bhartha and choole. Their parathas are also yummy (try methi).I recommend they focus on improving cleanliness and service.
This is a recently opened restaurant in Cupertino. Visited on July 4th. Place was very busy, looks like Cupertino folks were trying out this new place. We ordered Sev Puri, Alloo Tikki Chaat, Samosa Chaat and Dahi Batata puri. All of them tasted really good. They probably need more waiters, there were only two working and orders were little backed up. It took some time and couple of reminders to get one of the orders. Hope they improve in this area. Otherwise definitely a place to visit.Visited today for breakfast, but was disappointed with bad quality of food. Pongal had gone bad. Had to send it back. Rava dosa was ok. Onion chili uttapam was not cooked inside. Pretty disappointing visit☺️🙃
This is probably the best restaurant in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara/Mountain View for Indian food. Everything they make is delicious and tastes homemade. I have never had a bad experience with them for over 2 years. Highly recommend this place
Good food. Aloo parantha was good, misal pav was not spicy at all.
Like home food! To go place for us, they are always consistent with taste quality and quantity. Bonus is hot tea!
Very tasty home cooked tasting thali. Service needs major improvement.
Very good North Indian food! Tastes similar to home cooked food.
We ordered roti and paneer curry. They gave only curry and forgot the roti. After going home we checked and we called they cut the call in between when we are explaining. Very poor communication.
This family owned restaurant is beyond awesome in many ways and we would recommend it to everyone! We ordered: Sprouts bhel, Aloo tikki with chana, makai roti with sabzi, spinach roti and daal roti. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and accommodative to people who have chosen to live a plantbased lifestyle. We requested that to not have raita (dairy) served with the rotis. The owner made the connection right away to confirm that we wouldnt want butter/ghee with any of our dishes! Weve never experienced this level of awareness at any other indian restaurants! The food was hot, fresh and super delicious! Every dish had its own unique flavor profile and we could tell that they were prepared with care. These small gestures go a long way and show how truly genuine the owners of this restaurant are interested in serving their customers! We will definitely go back and often.
Amazing food quality... Freshly prepared Everytime...
The same old Radhe chat which was in Santa Clara is now reopened in Sunnyvale! It’s a small place but the food is really good! I have always liked their ragda Pattice so tried that item here. It was really good. Fresh and hot. There is complimentary chai too which is ok! If your looking for some North Indian & chat food, you could drop in here!
I thought it was not too bad. The sabudana kichidi was sticky, but the aloo paratha was nice. They have karela here which is hard to find.
Horrible packing for dahi sev puri, poor setup!
Kacha Dabeli & Samosa were too good..must try I would say.
Customer empathy - 0Customer service - 0Food - 0One of the worst experience in recent memory.Took 35 mins to get the order ready for pickup (waiting outside for 15 mins) and still they packed the wrong item (packed poha instead of kadhi pakora).Realized once we unpacked at home and the first time I called to understand what happened, the gentleman on the other end disconnected the call without replying. Tried a second time and got a response to pick it up and again disconnected the call without any apologiesFood was bland and tasteless; serves me right for wanting to give them a chance inspire of their 3.9 rating
Ordered to go multiple times from here and the food never disappointed. Especially love the kachhi dabeli and chat options here. We also tried the makki di roti saag & poori bhaji mini combos, very flavorful.
Good Authentic Food
Wrost store in the bay area never prepared food on time
Worst service ever. Took the guest to Bay area to try food, but pathetic customer service. None cared to respond even after calling them multiple times to table. Didnt give all the items in thali and had to ask missing items. Food wasnt great either, had limited options than shown on menu
Very tasty food, good customer service. Prakashji, Parulji and their staff go above and beyond to customize per the customer’s needs and provide quality food! No compromise on taste or quality despite all the challenges with Covid - this restaurant is one of our family favorites. Their Hara Bhara Bhel is the best I have had in the bay area!
This is one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants. The owner has opened up many restaurants in the Bay Area and sold them off. He knows the magic formula and assembles a winning team. The food has a North Indian slant, but delicious vegetarian food from all can be had. Enjoy!
Food is at times great but many dishes are way too oily. Problem here is consistency and subpar service. There’s much better options in the surrounding area. Also, the ad listed under updates on google maps posted on 2/22/20 for 20% off is not being honored by the owner. He actually pulled up MAPS on his own phone and argued that there was no coupon posted there.Downgraded to 2 stars because of lack of customer service.
Best Indian cuisine in the bay area. COnsistently delicious and great quality food. Owners are wonderful and always people conscious. Will not let a customer leave unhappily ever!I frequently order to treat my team at my company. Keeps my team happy on low budget! Will always recommend it to my friends and for any company parties.
I love this place. Awesome Indian food ..we go there very regularly and have tried a bunch of different items. All were great.
Lack of consistency of flavors in the dishes. Probably the chef changed? Only consistency I could find is that the quality is consistently going down every time I visit this place.
Excellent service with delicious & quality food. It’s the best Indian restaurant for Gujarati food I ever had in my last 15 years in U.S.
This place resurrected in Sunnyvale. Food is always fresh. Thank you for the complimentary tea. Love almost all the items on the menu.
Worse place to be. Long wait. Staffs are unprofessional and rude.
Place is small, but neat. Wait staff is shy. Food quality is always good. I like the mini snack menu. My wife likes chaat menu. However, chaat has hit / miss kind of quality here. The first time i went there, it was pretty good. Second time not so much.
Food is quite tasty. Prices are quite competitive as well. Overall a nice place for vegetarian dishes.
Great food. The rotis and gravys in this place are very tasty. They also provide complementary tea in the evenings. Good place to hangout and eat tasty rotis with friends.
Got a piece of plastic in Malai panner. The next table guy got a small Stone in his sev Puri! Visited the place because the previous raade Chaat was good.
Food is really good. We are new to Bay area and really liked Indian food here, will definitely come back again.
Delicious food, very good service. The owner is a very nice person and comes and checks on all customers.
Very good Indian food. It’s refreshingly nice homestyle north indian vegetarian cooking which is very hard to find in the south bay. I love eating from this place. Would highly recommend it. The rotis and parathas are very well made. They have missed a couple of items in DoorDash orders in the past but I am willing to look past it.
Interesting menu. Different offerings from three norm. Was tasty. Worth going back.
Food is great! However the person taking order at counter sometimes messes up order. So ask him repeat it etc. Smaller place so look for a fancy ambiance. Nice to see them back in business!!
Very nice place , decently priced, good taste and piping hot food to eat, ate thaali and chola batura here and it was both value for money. Will come here often now. Update 2: By far the best value for money North Indian Thali with best tasting subzi and Fulka , you like your north Indian Dont Miss Radhe Chaat.
Great place for vegetarian food. I use to visit this place regularly in the old location and I am glad that they have maintained the same quality and taste.
Their Gobi Paratha is a must try. Limited Seats but variety of food. The Staffs are very pleasing and patient enough until v finalize our order.
Hygenic, delicious Indian food. They serve great Chai on the house as well 😊
Decent vegetarian North and south Indian food in a relatively clean setting. Fast service. Fried things a bit over fried.Update 9/15/18 - no more South Indian food! Too bad :(
Service is good. Need improvement in the taste department.
Good north India food. Very basic ambience and the curries are very tasty
Great to have Radhe Chat back with their amazing chat choices, and the sooji ka halwa tasted just like a home made fresh halwa :D
One of the best Indian chaat places in the Bay Area. Much better than some of the well known chaat outlets in the area. Very tasty food. A must visit place!
Great place for vegetarian and jain food in the south bay area
Tasty affordable Indian food great prices!
Enjoyed the few dishes i tried, specially vadapav. But the cost of single small sized vada pav is $4.5 + taxes thats exploitation.
We tried this place second time. The food choices are good but the place has be clean to be appreciated. The prepared curries are always found to be open next to the entrance. Imagine how much dust, hairs, and other foreign elements must be depositing on them. We ordered Chola Bhatura. As soon as my son started eating, he found hair in it. Very disappointed.
Sumptuous meals, good service, clean space. Recommend this place for treating yourself occasionally 😀
Yummy Chaat felt like I was back home in Mumbai
Had the thali #1 (2 rotis). Had a rush of nostalgia. Taste and Quality is as good as home.
Be very careful with their billing. They may charge you extra unnecessarily or make you pay for their mistakes. Just once, out of courtesy, we paid for their mistake with the order. For instance, we ordered just ‘methi poori’, but we were served ‘plain poori and bhaji’. When asked about it, they got us methi poori with bhaji. This time we asked about the extra bhaji which we never wanted/ordered/used. For this, they clarrified that it comes along with the methi poori and that it is not something ‘extra’. But while billing, they charged for ‘masala poori + bhaji’!!!. We got annoyed, but paid out of courtesy and left the place. During our later visits, we observed them repeating it again, and each time we had to sort it out at the counter. Really an annoying experience. I hope they take responsibility for their mistakes and not annoy the customers this way.
Clean, well lit, and a large variety of Chaat items served with good vibes. One of the best places to go for Chaat.
This place is having horrible service, food is good though. They dont know what oder they can take and serve. Very bad experience not one but twice.
Best Food. Period.
Never got food on time
Ordered Thali. A curry was completely spoilt. It was stale curry which had spoilt overtime looks like. The guy came asking how the food was and I mentioned it to him. He didn’t even look at the curry and said “No it’s all good”. Then went to the lady and told her I was complaining about the curry. She also just dismissed it. After that no mention, he didn’t even come to my table anymore. No apologies (since he insisted curry was good). I can differentiate between a fresh curry and a curry that spoils in summer due to hot weather. So if you want to risk falling sick, this is the place for you.
This place easily has the best Chaat in the Bay area if you want to eat the Mumbai Chowpatty style chat instead of the Delhi style Chaat. The ragda patties here is heaven !!!!!
Wrost
Nice and clean. Tasty food, chat is a little spicy, very good for spicy chat lovers.
Delicious food and very good staff!
This is now called Desi Adda. The food is good - I usually take out from the dal, curries and sometimes eat snack items like vada pav, samosa etc. All in all, found it to be a value for money place with consistent taste.
Very good Indian food. Very reasonable
I ordered poha, bhel and khichdi. The food was somewhat bland . Didn’t like the food much . Probably won’t go again .
Good food, great people. Bhindi Masala is a must try
Food is ok. Service is fast. Their afternoon menu was better than chaats.
Dont order take away. They intentionally gave us only partial order which we realized only after reaching home. Best avoided.
Nice food, variety of options and good ambiance !
Solid food, fast service. Try the masala Puri.
Great Pav Bhaji, Shrikhand, Dhokla and other items :)Definitely recommend, good for chaats and snacks.
Nice home style Roti with Daal. Nice food
Malai Methi Paneer and Paneer Burji are awesome and must try. They also sell 10-piece wheat ($3.99) and durum flour chapattis ($4.99).Also the staff here is super friendly and they get the order ready in a very less time.
Tasty, moderately spicy, neat eating place. Varieties of stuff to order...
Average quality chaat. Open kitchen and groceries, produce supplies on the floor noticed on my way to restrooms,
Screwed up operations. We placed an order at 7.40 PM and we have been told order will be ready at around 8.15-8.30 PM.When I reached at 8.50 PM, the order is lost somewhere and they said they need to make it it takes another 15 minutes. As order did not go into printer insideYou better take the name of the person who took your order.
The staff was very good and helpful....
Please dont eat chaat here. Bhel Puri without Puri. Their tamarind chutney is really bad. Chaat is full of potatoes and moong dal.No issues with cleanliness or service.
Good Indian Chat shop.... mostly North Indian dishes 👍Should try
