My first time visiting this restaurant. Food was amazing. We tried Indian Chinese food. I would definitely go back. Their veggie spring roll is really good. Everyone should try it. Very different than every other place out there. I was going to give 5 star to this restaurant but there was a lack of customer service. Beside that food was excellent.

Some of the best naans you can have are here. Loved the food. Great bakery as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Every time I come here, I’m impressed by the hard work these people put in. We ordered Veg Manchow soup, Chicken chilly and veg Hakka noodles. Papad with green chutney and red chutney is complimentary. Will be coming again for sure!

Absolutely fantastic food!! Staff was very friendly This was my first time here. I came with my family for dinner. We had samosa, soup, garlic naan and kadai paneer which were very good. No complaints here. Will go there again.

I came here for a Valentine’s date with my husband before the lockdowns and we absolutely loved it here. I am a little sad they are closed, I hope they open soon. There’s tons of places around the Sugarland area but this one is the best I’ve been to hands down. I can’t wait to come back! Please open soon!

I absolutely love this place! Very flavorful and delicious Indian food. Though it has closed temporarily during covid I really can’t wait for it to reopen. There are many Indian restaurants in sugarland area but this is the best of best! Their weekday buffet had so much variety and each food item had a distinct different taste. Their indo- Chinese food is just like the one we might get back in India.Many of my non-Indian co-workers loved their food too! This was our favorite office luncheon place.Please re-open soon!

I was only picking up an order for delivery. I have never been here. They are a bit pricey compared to Savoy which is why only 4 stars. What i can say is I will be going back to try their food. The smells were wonderful, the restaurant though busy was clean, and the staff was friendly. I commented on the wonderful smells and some of the patrons told me the taste is even better.

My family and I came out today to celebrate my daughters college graduation. It was over a dozen of us and we arrived and were quickly seated. Service was great!!! Kendra provides excellent service!!! She greeted us very cheerfully.

Food is okay. Some items are good, some are okay. Some are not so good. But what brings my rating to 1 star is the service. There is one person amongst the waiters who actually wanted a reason why I asked for 2 to-go boxes and not 1! He thought how can I require 2 boxes for just little left over. And when I said he overlooked the other plate, he instead pf apologizing, was arguing and removed all our plates immediately. And one of us had not even finished eating. So what should be done???? Guys, stop going here until the owner realizes what is wrong with them and the server!!!

Bombay to Beijing is an amazing restaurant, one of my favorites. It combines Indian and Asian food for a unique way to eat to types of meals in one restaurant. They have an all you can eat buffet for lunch, and a amazing dinner course. The service is fantastic, and it is in a good location. They also provide take out orders.

Recently ordered from this restaurant. The food was great and service was efficient. The staff was also courteous and welcoming. Keep up the good work guys and please maintain the same standard going forward. Definitely recommended. Cheers!

Good food at a reasonable price (lunch). Lots of seating space so generally dont have any issue finding a table. This is one of my go-to places for a Friday lunch.

This is an excellent Indo Chinese restaurant for dining in as well as for take out. The BYOB option is a huge plus. Each time we have been there, they have graciously accommodated a different spice level for the same dish based on our needs ( each of my family members has different spice thresholds!) with the same flavor and taste of the dish. This is one of the very few places I have gone to more than once for a family/friends get together.

Good food and service. The buffet has some really tasty items. The baby corn, lamb biryani and tandoori chicken are really good.

I visited this restaurant few days back I got reference from some of my friends. I felt it was the best place to explore both Indian and Chinese food.Great customer care which I felt awesome because service people were busy with clearing plates and refilling water which I felt like a real customer. I finished my food with great happiness and I gave extra tip for them for their great service.I suggest all food lovers go there to have food and feel best service.

Very nice place to take guests for formal parties. Food is good, ambience is nice. Only thing I find lacking is that they do not have a diaper changing station in the restrooms which can be an issue for people with kids.

Will recommend this place. I visited after almost 2 years. I still remember, we stopped going there because of the quality issues. But now, they seems to have improved a lot. Good variety, nice environment. Our kids loved it too. If you like, Indo-Chinese, Non-Veg, Pastries, etc. you would like this place.

Something for everyone. We were entertaining a guest from north India and he had all the vegetarian dishes. Us meat eaters were treated to delicious chicken and goat dishes. We all ate until we were ready to burst: it was THAT good.

Im giving this restaurant 5 stars because:1. I loved the veg spring rolls. They didnt just fry the frozen ones like they do in other restaurants but they had made them fresh.2. Service was very fast. Even without us requesting them they got us all items pretty quickly and everything was warm and fresh.3. They got complimentary papad and chutneys in the beginning (bonus for hungry impatient people). Other restaurants dont do this anymore.4. Taste was pretty good.5. Quantity was large. 1 bowl of rice or noodles should be sufficient for 3 or 4 people.6. We got parking easily as well as seating in the restaurant. We didnt have to wait at all.7. Last but not least, there was a bakery shop attached to the restaurant which had cookies and pastries. I bought few from there too.Im definitely going to visit here again!

The service sucks and the waiters think they are doing a favor on us by serving us. I went there with my two kids for dinner and while ordering I told the waiter that food should be less spicy and I ordered what I usually order I have been going to that restaurant for over 12 yrs so I can vouch if the food is changed. I have seen the whole crew changing, management changing.... Coming to the order when the food arrived it was way too spicy even for an adult so very kindly I notified the waiter that food is spicy and he goes and calls his manager who is a very rude, unapologetic crude man , absolutely no manners ..his response well the name itself suggest its sweet and spicy making gestures like dont u have enough brains to read the whole description before ordering... He goes on and on as if its our fault honestly that country brute should be whooped to talk to any women like that in front if their kids... Witnessing this nonsense my 6yr old started to cry...😪. The lady who runs the restaurant is another mannerless person. Honestly just surprised with these brats how this place is still running.. not to mention several times I witnessed Rats running up the ceilings... This place should close down and the staff should be taught some manners.

I went with my friend who had from the UK to the restaurant on 02.11.19 and were very disappointed with the service from one of the server and his manager. When our masala tea came we asked for brown sugar and he told us they did not have it. I told the server we were both diabetic and they needed to keep some. Arrogantly the server said we were not regular customers and therefore they did not keep it. I then asked him if he was the owner and he said no. So asked him if his manager or owner could come here. I was then told he cannot walk properly so we would have to go to him where he was sitting near the bar. After finishing and before going out I asked for the manager and another young man said he was the manager. I explained the problem to him and he said that we must have provoked him. I just told him that both of them needs to be fired with the way they were behaving with the customers and we left. SUCH ARROGANCE !!!!

The food is absolutely delicious, but its unfortunate that the service is so deplorable. Never got offered a refill on my water, assured them that spicy was OK and got very mild vindaloo, and was also told I was ordering too much food and didnt need an extra order of rice. Shocker: I did! We waited 30 minutes for our food and after we had finished eating, we waited 20 minutes for anyone to show up so that we could ask for our bill. Each table around us seemed to get better service as well. Noting that my heritage differed from that of every other table in the place, it made me feel that perhaps I was of the wrong heritage to receive proper service. Then again, after reading the plethora of horrible reviews on here, it appears to be the norm.

I specifically asked the caterers what package to order for around a 100 guests, and they recommended an order that would feed MORE than a 100 guests. So naturally, I ordered exactly what they recommended I order. The order only fed around 60 guests. I was in utter shock during the party when one of my friends came up to me and told me the food was almost over and half the guests havent even gone up to get food. For all those who throw parties or go to parties, you know food is one of the most important part. So the next day, after the party I called this store and told them what had occurred, that there was a shortage of food. The managers dealings were horrible. She LAUGHED OFF my complaints and told me there is nothing she could do.DO NOT CATER FROM HERE. THE FOOD WILL NOT BE ENOUGH OR TASTY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Today was my first visit to Bombay To Beijing and I was there for lunch, choosing to go with the bufffet. It was as good as the best food I had while visiting India. Very nice atmosphere and very helpful servers. The cost was $12.99 and well worth it. If the food would have been just decent I would say it was a little costly but given the very high quality of the food, I would be willing to pay more even. Definitely will be returning, maybe will have to try their Chinese cuisine.

Im frankly a bit disappointed by Bombay to Beijing. Ive come here for years. It used to be my favorite place for Indian buffet in Sugar Land, but their food quality has been going downhill. Today, their Kheer (rice pudding) was the last straw. Its taste and texture felt watered down. Also, they had fewer vegetables options compared to the past. The paneer dish was 95% sauce, and its a fishing expedition to scoop out some paneer. Their price is higher than other Indian buffets in Sugar Land. Id rather go to the others.

Great Indo chine restaurant. The food is great and staff is working hard to cater customer and deliver quick service. However, the restaurant needs more staff, too much load on the existing staff.

Food quality is excellent. Service is good, but can be inattentive at times. Condition of the dining room is only fair. Needs a good scrubbing and renovation.

They will charge mandatory 20% tips for 5 people and dont have any notice posted like most restaurants do. So the next time I went with my family, with 3 year old and two year old kid, they counted the one that did not eat any food and charged 20% mandatory tips. And told us there were 4 people in the party. At that time this place had 4.6 rating, now it has 3.6. Still the best lamb briyani you can find in Houston and we still go here once in 2 months (reduced from once a week). Of course tips are not given to employees, so skip it (if you have the option to write it yourself).

We did take out, just a couple of soups and the veg Hakka noodles. The food tasted really good and authentic. Would love to try their buffet next time Im in town.

Went to Lunch buffet. First off, the number of items is less compared to other places. The food is not warm, taste is average. Ambiance is okay. Not worth the $14.99 for lunch buffet in this place in my opinion.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Even the smell when you walk in.. smells amazing! I tried most of the food on the lunch buffet and everything was good. I didnt try the desert, but I noticed they did have gulab jam.They had a huge variety of food. I loved the chicken kebab, so soft and fresh!

If you are looking for your catering needs do your self a favor and please avoid these people. They will tell you one thing at the time you order and wont be accountable for their mistakes. They are notorious for shortening the food. Recently held an event and catered the food through them. After suggesting the trays and order sizes and promising multiple times it will feed more than enough people. We ran out of food half way through. It was so embarrassing to watch almost 30 people not being able to eat. And also if you order any kind of non veg curry their tray sizes means 5 peaces chicken peaces and rest gravy. And if you look for any sort of customer service. Dont expect it. They will just blame everything on you. Extremely disappointed.

Horrible customer service experience today.We called the restaurant to find the price for the buffet and when we went to the restaurant in next 10 minutes they changed the price. After telling the guy several times that they gave a different price over the phone and that is the reason we came there, the guy didnt seem to care. We asked for the manager but the guy is like I make the decision here and therefore the manager or the owner cannot do anything. We have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for last 6 years and just for a couple of bucks the restaurant lost us as a customer. I hope the owner will read this and take some action.......

This is my go to spot for Lunch during the week. I eat here at least twice, up to three times a week. The staff is friendly, the food is hot, fresh, and delicious, and its always a great experience. I like how they have different options everyday but still always have the favorites. Soda is included in the price and so is chai tea so the price cant be beat. I highly recommend this place. The only draw back is that parking can be difficult because the surrounding business invade the spaces that should be reserved for the restaurant.

Absolutely delicious every time I go; there will be a different assortment of meat and vegetarian dishes, mostly Indian, each time. Super hearty, lovely unending naan with every meal, and attentive waiters. Low-key interior, very clean and orderly. Can get busy around noonish during week, but calms down around 1:00. Not too pricey--for lunch buffet around $13. Definitely recommend!

Not enough man power during lunch hours. Not enough vegetarian options in lunch buffet. Be prepared to wait for extended time just to get simple naan. Some food was even cold.

The lunch buffet is great with plenty of Indian offerings. There are always one or two Hakka-Chinese style offerings as well so if youre looking for that Desi-style Chinese food, this is definitely one of the better spots around Houston.

I took my entire staff there, hoping for a nice lunch. Let me start by saying if I could rate them lower than one star I would have. Most of the buffet containers were empty and they did not bother to fill them with food, most of the stews were without meat or chicken, food was also very under seasoned and dry. Service was very very very bad, they never came to get drink orders, naan was served after 30 minutes, after we asked and asked for it. Plates would not get cleared and if you wanted to get more food you had to wait on somebody , and you should ask them if they could clear the table. The Chinese selection was a joke also. Anyways I got really embarrassed in front of my staff. We will definitely never go there again.
