I love Michaels. The employees are always so helpful and friendly.

WARNING. A very dangerous place if you have a gifted young artist. Great selection, huge variety, all levels of skill, and always things on sale and good coupons. Beware and enjoy.

Some of the Employees were very rude. Besides they need to update their Clearance section on the Website because I went in looking for a particular item & they were all sold out. 1 Employee did go above & beyond to help me find the item. He even called another store to check if they had it. Clearance bins could also be well organized so you can actually be able to see whats on Clearance.

Huge flower section with some expected gaps. Its bigger than most flower sections!Clearance is not all in one area, some is located in specific spots and are smaller [harder to find].Paint brushes are not organized very well but thats not a surpise. Customers moving stuff constantly is understandable. Odd that the brushes are separated by oil or acrylic. Just dedicate whatever brush to the specific medium and BE CONSISTENT. Should be fine if people did that.Odd choice of placement with some of the seasonal stuff. Some Easter items are on discount. Mostly New Years stuff is discounted.

They are a big store in a tight space, it was confusing to say the least. The Isles are poorly labeled and short staffed. The cake decoration section is very disappointing, they have almost nothing

I found the staff to be very helpful when you can find them. I wandered around the store for a while seeking help. I understand that staffing may be at a minimum because of the pandemic.

Normally well stocked and their associates are very knowledgeable.

I have stopped coming here and go to the Michael’s near my job. This store is in desperate need of better management. Terrible check out experience every time as you feel you spend your whole life in that line. DMV is faster. It is impossible to find anyone to help you on the sales floor. Women’s restroom is clean sometimes. There are Michaels stores nearby that are much more busier, yet they do not have these problems. Again, it is the fault of piss poor management. Also, do not order anything online to be picked up in this store. It will take forever for you to get the order because they admit to not being able to find the item in the back room.

All Christmas items were 50% off today. I had looked online before I went to see what I might get. So when I got there, there were so many people in there that it was difficult to get around. Anyway, I finally found a few things that I liked (but they didnt have what I saw online), and went to check out. But the line was all the way across the front of the store and 3/4 the way to the back along the far wall. I put my items back and left.

Had what I wanted on sale. Not many people helping out on the way floor.

They are always pretty low on merchandise. The few times Ive gone, theyve never had what I went for. I still manage to find something to buy. Lol.Little interaction with employees.

Manager and co worker were no friendly didnt acknowledge. Senior in a wheelchair kept on conversating among them self not good...

Shelves were bear after a great sale,that I missed, but I still was able to get great bargains and store wasnt a mess. All counters were open so lines moved swiftly.

We felt safe shopping at Michaels during covid-19, every one was wearing their mask correctly what a shock. Plus we found some really good guys at 50% off. We will be back

Couldnt find what I needed. They said it was a holiday item, but its not.

I came in looking for a specific planner, I immediately checked the planner isle. Unfortunately no sign of the planner I was looking for. I found a young lady up a few isles who was extremely rude, and made me feel like I wasn’t welcome as a customer. She said at least 2 times in front of me “ugh I got stopped by a customer” over the Walkie. I with surprise just asked if there is someone who can help me. She asked over an associate in the planner isle over the walkie and told me to go back to the planners and wait. I waited about 5-8 minutes to nobody coming to help me look at the above bins. I couldn’t find 1 single associate for about 10 minutes walking around. I eventually found a nice lady with a brown apron by the frames, she was happy to help and find the planner I was hoping to find. Long line like always. I will stick to just going to the Michaels in Virginia Beach.

It was ok kind of unorganized the week I went but possibly they just came after a big sale. I like the Hobby Lobby in Elizabeth City, Nc it was fully stock and had so much it offers. I guess I wish Michaels format offered more. This particular store no employee greeted me and no one could help me. Strange!

Get Crafty, They have what you need

It was okay but this is how it went down I went there looking for something very specific for a Christmas present I couldnt find it myself so I try to ask for help had trouble finding somebody who was working the floor ask them where is the item Im looking for located and they said that particular product is in multiple places in the store then I asked can you show me all the different places where this item is located and they said sure give me a minute but theyre meant it was more like half an hour and before they had a chance to help me I was able to locate the item by looking for it myself

Comparison shopping. Michaels is over priced! Same product michaels and walmart (less than 2 miles away) 1.50 difference.

As with most of the Michaels locations this store was cluttered and messy. Also missing a lot of stock.

Craft store that is pretty decently stocked with variety of items. Cashiers arent the friendliest tho which makes it not my choice pick to go to.

Lots of Christmas decor, found some fun things to buy. Only thing I couldnt find was pre-lit Garland.

I felt like l had to hunt someone down for help to have them point in the direction for what l needed.

This is not my craft store of choice. They have a nice selection, I just feel like its a little too pricey. I know they have coupons and they help, but a lot of times, theyre for things I do not use.

Michaels is a standard one stop shop for arts and crafts. They did not have exactly what I wanted in stock but did have something similar. Staff is always nice and the store is always clean. There is a bit of a line at checkout sometimes.

Has everything you need to DIY but more interesting is that they have things for making candy, cookies, cakes plus everything from sewing to photography

My mother used to work at this place. The work environment for her was nice-- she enjoyed working here and the benefits that Michaels gives in return for her service.The store itself, from a customer perspective, is good. Not the best Ive seen, but its good.Tiffany, a wonderful woman who was working the evening shift when we went one time, was very kind and seemed like an exceptional worker. A different cashier was talkative and started up a great conversation.Another worker working at Michaels for an interim period was very friendly and helped us talk through our purchase decision between two different but similar items.Aside from those exceptional workers, however, the service doesnt really stand out to me. The workers are good, but not spectacular. Some dont seem very passionate about being there.The store also tends to be a bit messy at times, especially in the Clearance section or by nighttime.I hope to see more passionate workers and a cleaner store, but overall I must say I do like shopping here. :)

Bought all of my halloween decorations minus the pumpkins. Store was well stocked and the staff was friendly. Will be back for Xmas decorations

Having another piece of art custom framed! They do an amazing job! Have used them for years for all my framing! And they have everything my family needs for all types of craft projects!

I went in for a picture frame. They were in the back of the store. So I got a good look at the store. Easy to navigate. Polite service. Just about everything you would need for most any arts and crafts.

Even though they didnt have what we were looking for, they were quick to help and save us the time of looking for something they dont have.

Only reason they are getting what they are getting is because they were super kind BUT I am trying to make soap right? They have 5 essential oils in stock what is up with that??

Disorganized, a bit of a mess, lack of inventory and selection as well loonnnggg lines.

Michaels is the place to be. Surrounded by many stores, fast food restaurants, Walmart, dine in restaurants, 711 and many more. Great location.

It had been some time since I visited Michaels and I feel now as though I had been missing out. So many things to look through. So many crafts I could have done with my kids for a very reasonable price! I was highly pleased and can not wait too return. My kids love the store as well and find so much they like.

Great customer service from Shannon. Despite the crowd, lines moved quickly and efficiently. I got a great bargain too. A 140 piece deluxe drawing kit, regularly $79.99 for $18! The only thing it was missing was a handle. Who cares about that? My sister was thrilled to receive it for one of her Christmas presents.

Did a birthday party for my 10 year old daughter there. The help was great and the kids had a blast. Its not something I would have thought of, but its a great idea and is highly recommended.

It has lots of items for crafts and artwork, not too big!

Love this store the discounts are great, the coupons are worth the time to cut out or get on your phone so they can be scanned at check out. And....they accept military discounts. The only problem I have is the checking out part always a line and only 2 cashiers sad that they dont have enough ppl on registers to handle the line flow faster.Thank you Michaels Crafts.

Very, very overpriced. When items are on sale (or if you have a coupon) for 50% off they are at the higher end of market average prices. Today we found a Halloween wreath for $16 that was *identical* to one wed purchased at the dollar store. Years ago, Michaels was a good place to go for art supplies, crafts, and hobbies. Now its all overpriced, low qualify decor. They do have some unique things, though. Just make sure you have a coupon.
