Disgusting customer service.Came here to drop off a sample, staff was very limited.People who waited before me, left after waiting for over an hour.Others also left.Waited an hour and got no help.Huge sign saying no more than 5 people in the waiting room, well, if you served people who are just dropping off, you wouldnt have to make people wait on the sidewalk and have overcrowded waiting rooms.Makes me sick to my stomach to see service like this in 2021!Does Quest not make enough money to hire additional staff?

Dont ever go to this quest without an appointment. You will NOT be seen. I waited here for an hour and a half. At times the waiting room was empty besides for me for over 10 minutes and still no one came out to help me. When I finally saw someone and asked when I would be seen, they told me it was unlikely I would be seen today. They should not allow walk-ins if they dont service the people who walk in. This location is the worst and if they shut down or go out of business it would be the best day ever. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A BUSINESS.

Counter to negative reviews, my experience here was great. Super easy to schedule and reschedule online, the people who work here could not have been nicer, kinder, easier to work with, friendly. It makes me wonder how they’re being treated by clients. It’s true that you cannot access locations by phone with any ease but that’s kind of how things are now with so many places and the online experience and registration was seamless and super easy with text alerts.I waited in my car and got a text alert two minutes later and walked right in. I’m not always a fan of having a blood draw and she was wonderful, easy going, personable, and super professional and capable. Barely felt a thing. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here — I’m not looking for a five-star hotel, just an easy and professional and painless experience and it was absolutely all of that.

Very professional, kind, & quick. Please make an appointment because walk ins will have to wait. I’m writing this review because the quest at Nanuet is horrible. They’re rude & unprofessional. Additionally a man was upset & nasty to one of the workers here but she was nice

Extremely disappointed with the service. For 2 consecutive days now I have gone to the location at opening (7:30 am), signed in via the tablet, and indicated that I would wait in my car. The lobby (which does not feel anywhere as neat and clean as it seems that it should right now) was near the 5-person capacity on both days. According to instructions, I should have received a text or call to let me know that it was my turn. I never received any communication. I never saw a single staff member, except for the individual who unlocked the front door at opening. That person never said a single word to any of us waiting.

I visited this location today morning, in spite of all the negative feedbacks from other people. I did not have an appointment as the website mentioned that we could walk in. There was not enough space to sit down and a man came out and stood at the door and ordered that all those who were standing should go out. there was no politeness in his voice and sounded like we were all his orderlies. After waiting for 38 minutes outside, somebody from their office came out and told us that they are booked for the day and as such they were not able to take walk- ins. They could have said that earlier and we would not waste our time. The overall experience at this location was horrible and disrespectful. I would advise that nobody may visit this place for their lab works.

I had a pre-scheduled 10:45 am appt. They texted me while I was in the parking lot and told me they were ready for me. I get inside, and Im told to check in (again!) and there will be up to a 25 minute wait. When I asked why they told me to come in when they werent ready for me, they made me wait outside and told me to calm down. I gave them until 11:20 and then left. So much for making an appointment. If you can avoid coming here at all - do it! Rude doesnt even begin to describe how I was treated!!

When u walk in you see, a tablet that asks you about your name and dob, sort of like signing in. I thought that was enough. Its not!! Its better to make an appt at home and then walk in. And even then you will have a wait of 15-20 minutes. We waited about 45 minutes before someone who came after us was called in. Then another person who came after us was called in, thats when i spoke to the lab tech who informed me that the people who have an appt. will go in first no matter how long i have been waiting for. Every time someone with an appt walks in we will get bumped. There is nothing informative in the office while you wait that warns you or suggests that you make an appt. so if its your first time be prepared to wait for 1hour and 15 minutes. Other then the wait the lab techs are very nice and friendly. The lab area was also clean. So overall its not a bad place unless you don’t make an appt.

Melissa is great. She explained everything so well with patience. She loves what she does. She was gentle and careful even with putting the codes in. Thank God for people like this. Ive been going here and never really had a complain. Nobody is perfect and I think everyone needs grace. Its not an easy job to do. They have lives too. I am grateful for their service. I also know that people have different experiences. I hope everyone could have a good experience but thats not the case. Overall, good facility.

Update 9/21/20 - After multiple follow ups and being on hold with Quest customer service for over 5 hours the credit card charge was reversed and they took the trouble to process the claim via insurance.Update 8/6/20: They took my insurance information and charged my credit card for the full amount of the test.It only took 2.5 hours inspite of having an appointment. I understand the social distancing requirement due to the pandemic but there is no system on how patients are called after you check in. It seems like people physically in the waiting room are given preference over folks waiting outside. No one can explain the order in which patients are seen.

I was told to wait outside because I wanted to stand. I did not want to sit because those chairs are dirty and worn. They said because of covid I had to either sit inside or if I wanted to stand wait outside. The place was empty the capacity was 5 and it was only me inside. I had my mask on and was still waiting 30 minutes later.

Called to make an appointment for my mother through their call system, made the appointment and the bot confirmed it. My mother shows up for the time set and is told there is no appointment for her. Called to see whats going on and no one picks up. I rarely make reviews, and its even more rare for me t leave a one star rating but such terrible service for a important matter deserves it. If you can avoid this place avoid it like its a corona/plage cocktail.

Even though the website and the window of this location says walk ins are welcome, they aren’t. Their phone system says if you are high risk you can come the first hour of the day. I was there a half hour before they opened. The woman was extremely rude and turned everyone away saying they are appointment only now. Then have that on your website, phone, and door!! I told them fine, don’t bother with my bloodwork but I had tests I had to do at home. They gave me everything. Refused to give me directions on how to do a test I had to do 3 nights in a row. Told me to call the doctor for directions. Doctor was annoyed. Printed something from Quests website with directions. They could have just done that for me. I go in today to drop things off. There are 3 staff members. Without getting into details one woman was sooo rude to everyone. RUDE! This is my first time ever dropping things off. They tell me to check in on the kiosk. It says 40 minute wait. Why? I’m just dropping stuff off!!! Then they wanted to do my bloodwork that they wouldn’t do on Friday. I told them to Nevermind. Forget it. I’m going back to Bioreference. This was my first experience with Quest. NEVER AGAIN! I have always gone to Bioreference with never a problem. Quest should not tell you walk ins welcome when they are not. You need an appointment and you can’t get one for another 3 days. This was my first and last dealings with Quest.

The woman who drew my blood was nice- there ends the positives.1. No soap in the bathroom. Not even a dispenser.2. The 2 hand sanitizer dispensers on the wall in the hallway were both empty or broken.3. You need to bring in a physical paper (never had this before) and they wont accept perfectly clear version on a phone.4. Systems were all down the entirety of the 1+ hour spent there.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about, but Sonny was great. I arrived without an appointment as the lab opened this morning,. He took me in as soon as he put his lunch away and got his coat and gloves on, and stuck me (routine lab work) quickly and painlessly. A pleasure of a person to chat with for the 5 minutes this all took as well.

Mary is wonderful and patient and kind and understanding. When quest on Lafayette in suffern refused to even try to help me because I had so many labs that needed to be done, and they didnt even try to help me, quest labs in Indian rock stepped up to the plate and Mary was the only tech working and she not only took the time to look up all the codes that quest on Lafayette ave refused to do, she also typed all the codes in and made a call to be ensured that she had the right code on one of the tests. My dr orders tons of lab work and it took quite some time and Mary did all of it with patience and compassion. Being sick and in pain 24/7 is hard enough but when you have compassionate health care workers, it takes the stress and fear away. Mary is top notch the best that I have ever dealt with at any quest labs, and I have been to many quest labs. Thank you Mary.

A few weeks ago, I gave this lab 4 stars. I made an appointment for my toddler, arrived on time, and was taken in within 5 minutes, and the techs were good with my son and patient with us. We had a great experience. However, today, I had an appointment for myself at 8 am, and arrived just on time. The waiting room was full, and the tablet for check in was down, so I signed in on the paper form, and indicated that I had an appointment. There was one tech working, and he was busy on the phone with tech support or whomever (while he had a patient in one of the rooms) and was trying to fix the problem. He was unable to, so when a 2nd employee showed up, he handed her the phone, and she proceeded to try to rectify the problem, while all of us in the waiting room sat watching this debacle. Finally, the female employee said shed have to call back later. When one of the people waiting asked her if shed be taking people in soon, she responded quite nastily that she was trying to do something and people would have to wait. She eventually realized that it was ridiculous to have a waiting room full of people., and asked who had an appointment (thank god I did) and she took me in, complaining the entire time how the computer system was down, how she was tired, and how she didnt want to be mean to people, but she didnt feel like having to be at work, and how she was stressed out. Frankly, I could not have cared less since I made an appointment, wanted to get my blood drawn, and get to work. The only reason I like this lab is that its usually a pain to find parking at LabCorp down Rt 59, but Ill go there next time. So if you see the female employee with a heavy accent, nose ring, tattoos, and long hair, be sure not to ask her questions. I dont necessarily blame the employees-I blame the company for having one employee working and then a 2nd one come in later, and having employees trying to tend to patients and tend to the front reception check-in.

I made an appointment online and received reminders and instructions by text. Check—in was a breeze using the kiosk. I had an issue with my script and the tech helped me to resolve it and get my blood drawn quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with my experience. My only complaint was that appointments were difficult to reserve, as the open slots closed out almost as quickly as I found them, and in some cases before I could reserve one. I assume this has to do with staffing shortages.
