Really fun cafe. Good coffee and great desserts. The raspberry white chocolate mocha is divine and my moms mocha was grand. The art is also very fun to look at. Highly recommend as the employees are very nice.

This is a nice spacious cafe with good options for someone craving for sweets.They do have good varieties of cake also some snack and salads available.You can either order just a slice of cake piece or whole for parties.Coffee is also available.The service is quick however they wont heat up the cake if you like them bit warmed up.They have a public parking building across the street

I had a sweet tooth while visiting the Twin Cities and read a blog about this place. I got a slice of the classic cheesecake withWhipped cream and a strawberry and it was quite good. The blog mentioned that the slices are probably large enough for 2 people but I didn’t experience that (unless I just have a healthy appetite).

We ordered a lemon blueberry cheesecake. The lemon layer on the top overpowered the taste of cheesecake on the bottom. The base layer of the cheesecake was a bit hard. Overall, it tasted okay!

We adore this place. We wish the online menu was correct. We take out frequently and our experience has varied greatly. Recently we ordered soup and was surprised when we got home, the soup cups were barely half full. We emailed the restaurant. No reply.

Ordering was a nightmare. We came for lunch at 2pm. We were in line trying to get a salad and everyone kept cutting like the line in front of us. We also wanted a pizza but found that was a different unmarked line. What a shame, the food was good but we will not be back due to the poor organization of getting our food.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in the St. Paul area. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in a trip to Minnesota. Highly recommend!

Cheese cake is amazing. Lemon torte is just as amazing as I remember from when I used to go in the 90s. This place is iconic and I brought my partner here for the first time and it was just perfect. New additions have been made and we will be back. Best dessert Ive had in a long time. Grabbed Togo bread and created some fun dinner with vegis fresh from our garden.

I rarely give places five stars. This place is worth it. I had a phenomenal coffee and raspberry and cream filled croissant. This place is somewhat reasonably priced. The quality of product/service is off the charts.

Best tres leches in the city. We had vanilla tres leaches, salted caramel tres leches and tiramisu tres leches. Vanilla tres leaches is a must try, it’s a light spongy cake that’s soaked through with a milky sauce.

This review is based on level of service from the staff. The food is amazing, but we were not treated with respect during our final visit.Came here on an early Saturday afternoon with my s/o. We ordered coffee and a pizza. Asked the staff at the counter if they had public wifi to which they kindly stated they do not.While we waited for our drinks and food, we each pulled out our laptops to complete some work, using our own wifi hotspot.Food came and we continued to work while we at.Only a few minutes after receiving our food, a manager approached us and advised they do not allow business work in the cafe while they are busy.At this point in time we had only been there for a total of 30 minutes and were clearly still eating.I kindly informed the manager that we will finish eating, pack up and make sure to never come back.The food is amazing and we will miss enjoying it, but there are plenty of other businesses whos staff will show their customers respect and hospitality.

I came here with a friend of mine who was nervous about the crowds during the pandemic. A waitress came outside to take our order and my friend got a soup and I got their cheesecake. My only gripes would be the parking on a Sunday: nonexistent. I didn’t want to park in the corner lot and pay so I had to park on a residential street and walk a block. They do have curbside pickup and it was interesting to see how busy this cafe gets.

Pricey but oh so worth it. The tres leches cake is different than the traditional but so good along with 5 other pies. They have phenomenal coffee along with salads. Lots of seating area in a bustling environment. Always quite busy though!

My friend took me to this place. She loves it. Now I know why. I tried Tres lechés cake and she tried the German chocolate cake. They were both delicious. This place has a niceambience which facilitates conversation with friends. I like this place. Please visit this place with friends if you want to have a good time.

Very cozy and unique place. Its pricey but worth it. The soups and salads are delicious. The cashier guy helped me to carry the trays upstairs, very nice of him.

I sat in the back at the pizza cafe side. The young man waiting on me was wonderful. He cared as much about making pizzas as he did about making sure the customers were doing okay. The pizzas looked beautiful. I plan to return and try a pizza. The turtle cake was as delightful as ever.

A perfect place to hangout with your friends/significant others! My to-go here is classic vanilla cheesecake, fruit tart, and their special coffee cheesecake (sometimes they have it as specialty of the day). Their 6-inches cake is perfect for a birthday party!

I went to this restaurant and got the chicken balsamic pecan pasta salad and the chili. I wish I would’ve sampled more soups as I didn’t really like the chili and they allow you to sample as many as you want. You get bread with your soup and the soups can come with sour cream, cheese and chives. Yum!!! Their cakes and sandwiches are also very good. Their sandwiches are by far my favorite thing I just wasn’t hungry enough.

This is my favorite place to eat in Minnesota. I go here more often than i should and I love the food, the desserts, the pizza. My favorites are the spread sampler, the grasshopper tres leches (available around the winter holidays), the chicken salsa chili - but to be honest - everything is so good.

Came for our sons birthday, he loved looking in at all the different cakes and pies and getting to choose a slice! My wife and I have come here a hundred times. The coffee is good, desserts are good, food is good, and the service is always friendly and helpful. Not to mention its on Grand Ave so it is a wonderful place stop in and get a snack or lunch on a day of perusing all the great shops!

I loved the Turtle Cheesecake that I ordered and my boyfriend ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake. It was a great place to visit since it was his birthday. :) I feel like the Turtle Cheesecake had a great balance between the toppings and Cheesecake flavor. Sometimes that flavor can get lost once toppings are added. Im glad that I tried this out!

I dont understand the hype about the 3 leches cake....its seriously so flavorless. The texture is nice but I cant eat a whole slice. Not worth the calories. The chocolate cake is great

I buy on the average 2-3 cheese cakes a month for the last 10 years before the price increase and COVID-19.Today I wanted a full cheese cake but they only had a half of one. I tried to buy it for the full cheese cake deal ( you save a $1.00 a slice) and the manager was very rude and I was told it’s not negotiable, now mind you I had already placed a order for another cheese cake to pick up on Friday! If I had not paid for the one on order they would’ve not had anymore of my business. The way they treated me as a customer is not what is expected of a place of business in this struggling economy. $48.00 is a lot of money to me and $29.00 for a half of a cake is to much. I refuse to buy anything from them and will let people know what to expect from the management!!!

Cafetería style ordering. Soups, salads sandwiches are all great. However leave room for the deserts, are the best in Minnesota. The tres leches, chocolate chocolate and German cake are to die for. Cheese cakes in a variety of flavors. Service is always friendly.

One of my favorite places to go for lunch. Everything they serve is fresh and fantastic. The servers are helpful and patient. Only bad thing is parking, but totally worth the loops around the block until a spot opens up.

Decent place, but nothing special. Serving hot drinks in a tall beer glass without a handle hardly seems to make sense. The cheesecake was more cake than cheese. It was good enough, but not what I expected...which lead to disappointment.

First things first...you have to try the Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake which they usually have on Wednesday’s!....it’s FIRE, and then there is the Banana Cake which is light with a delicious cream cheese frosting!!!!Beyond that most of the deserts are pretty BOMB, and the atmosphere of the place is chill.I’ve tried at least half of the cakes that they have and I have not been disappointed yet!I haven’t had the opportunity to eat much of there other options besides the desserts but maybe next time....they are a bit on the pricey end with the food, just my opinion.

The Vanilla Tres Leches has always been one of my favorite cake in the US. The sweetness of the cake is just right where you would not feel disgusted after consuming a lot of it. The price was fair for the quality. A definitely recommended place to get a birthday cake from!

The food is good quality and tasty. Ive enjoyed the sandwiches and salads Ive had here. I would skip the soup as it doesnt seem particularly special or memorable. The price is ok and I dont typically get diners remorse after eating my food and thinking about the bill when I go to Cafe Latte.But the deserts are the real stars of this place. I really like their cupcakes especially; they have the right amount of frosting to cake ratio. Actually they might have the best cupcakes Ive had locally, beating even Nadia cakes and nothing bundt cakes. They are slightly more affordable by comparison too if I recall correctly.It would be 4 stars but I feel the prices are a bit to high for effectively an upscale cafeteria style diner overall. Their deserts are definitely what get me to keep coming back.

Came here with my mom for her birthday lunch, we both loved it! Although it was a little pricey it makes up for the amazing quality. I had the chicken Caesar salad, the girl who made it was so sweet! I also had the wild rice soup which was so good. Obviously I came here for the desserts so I got a slice of the Tres Leches cake! It fit my mom and I’s tastebuds very well, it’s not too sweet and very moist. Would come here again!

A staple in St. Paul, Cafe Latte has been open for decades and shows no sign of letting up. Also, did I mention they served pizza as well?Highly recommend the salsa chicken chili topped with peppers and shredded cheese or the wild rice soup. Always has been my go to place when visiting the Grand avenue neighborhood. Plenty of options for salads, soups, sandwiches and selections vary per the day but they always seem to have some option for vegetarians. Theres also a pizza bar at the back where you could create your own personal sized pizza with your own choice of toppings.And not to be missed are the cake slices with ample of flavors as well as other baked goodies which have been around for many many years at this cafe :)Highly highly recommend if youre in Twin Cities!

Beautiful place, even better food. The Tres Dulce cupcake was a unique experience. The cake basically had liquid milk in it, it was DELIGHTFUL. Sit upstairs, bring a light coat, good air conditioning.

Cozy place to have a tea or coffee with delicious treat(plain cheesecake is my fav). Very friendly and nice staff with a great service. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. It is like New York cheesecake but better :) you can also get salad soup and some other food. This place is great for families.

A go to place for cafeteria style upscale food and decadent desserts. You order at the counter and find your own seats to sit down and eat.My favorite here are the raspberry creme torte cake, tres leches cake and cheesecake, as I like desserts that are less sweet. I find their chocolate cakes too sweet for my taste.The service can be hit or miss. When the lines are long the staff are not great at corralling people into an orderly line, making it hard to tell who came first. Also, they often run out on dessert favorites such as their raspberry cream torte cakes on high traffic nights.Pro tip: order two of the small half size cake/pie/torte slices they sell for $1.50 each. Its overall cheaper than a full $6 slice.They rotate their soup selections, with at least one vegetarian option available. The sandwiches and pizza are not worth what you pay for, in my opinion. The pizza is very average in flavor and the sandwiches are small but come with a side.Overall, I mostly come here for the desserts as they are consistently are high quality and tasty.

I got the raspberry and chocolate tres leche. Both were phenomenal! The inside is so elegant but yet fast service. I will be coming back.

Fun place for dessert! They have great food, but even better cake (and Im not even much of a cake person)! They have a good red wine to pair with the chocolate cake, but coffee options as well. I love the steamed milk with add-in flavors...so many options! They have great food and salads as well. The employees were so nice and helpful and the restaurant is always clean.

If youre looking for an amazing personal pizza, I recommend the Nacho Pizza. It exceeded all of my expectations, but then the chocolate chocolate cake put this place at the top of my all time favorites list! What a great spot for GREAT pizza and desert!

Ive only been here for the desserts, which are amazingly decadent and delicious. My favorite is the fruit tart, which is not too sweet and perfectly balanced. I also like the flourless chocolate cake, German chocolate cake and the vanilla tres leches if Im indulging.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years now. It has always had outstanding food, which was the case on our most recent visit September 22, 2018. We had a salmon soup and Cesar salad that were great as usual. It was quite crowded on a Saturday at 6pm. The cakes looked amazing, but we did not have any during this visit. There was table for four upstairs which had a reserved sign, and it went unused the entire time we were there, even though it was the only available table at times. I found this very odd and annoying, somewhat reminenecent of a prank.

Extremely friendly staff. Warm, inviting environment. Great food. Large selection. Good location. One of those small places you didnt even know was there. Ill be back.
