Id been wanting to go here and finally got the chance but was really disappointed. No table water or drinks or menus up front. When we did order, the mains had to be chased up a couple times. Was almost 2 hours wait which apparently was partly caused by take out orders... Really.... Food was average if Im honest.

This place looked like it had plenty of great reviews so we thought we would try it - it is a busy place and looks very popular … we were very disappointed with the service - or lack of! No offer of water until we gave up waiting and asked for some - the menu was also missing for ages - it was also a very long wait for some very ordinary food - portions were on the small side and really how hard is it to serve simple Italian fare a little quicker than 2hrs after arrival.

Weve been a couple of times and never been disappointed! Everyones food was fresh and full of flavour. Even though it was a full house (Thursday night), the staff was friendly and responsive. Will keep coming back! Thank you!

Twins is always good, as evidenced by the many people who go there. We always go for the calimari as an entree and then follow with a pizza and a salad.

Came in today after graduation to be disappointed by the service. We were ignored at the door for 5 minutes and then the people that came after us was served and seated before us. We then proceeded inside and was seated on a table not set up, no cutlery and table still sticky. After all this the customers seated next to us were brought over water and menu whist our table was just menus.Food we ordered was prawn pasta and Mediterranean pizza. Pasta was well done. Perfecto.Pizza on the other hand was over killed with sauce. Centre of the pizza was soggy and Luke warm - most likely undercooked.Overall dining experience was mediocre/under serviced. Definitely order the pastas over the pizza. If you want some Italian food near uni.

The lady (owner) needs to be more polite and welcoming. Went there twice and she makes me feel like she’s doing me a big favour by serving my food.

Fantastic service, very cost friendly and delicious Fettuccine and Barramundi. Definitely will be going back.

A nice surprise in this lovely urban village. Always great when the business owners are in the business. This is evident by the friendly and attentive crew on the floor who greet you, followed up by delicious home made pasta (try the Gnocchi) and awesome pizza (procuitto potato). BYO wine and beer too!

I think this is the best food we have had in Brisbane. Mushroom pizza was delicious. Mushrooms were a bit boring, and could be exchanged for a more interesting variety. But everything else was first class. The lightest gnocchi you have ever tasted with a brilliant lambs neck ragu. Mushroom ravioli as light as air but much more tasty and a rocket and pumpkin salad of perfect combinations and subtle but delicious dressing. All delivered with professionalism and no fuss. Perfect. This is our second time there. It will not be the last.

We’ve been dining at Twins for a number of years and have been impressed with the quality and consistency of service and food.Service is friendly, efficient, and genuine.Meals are reasonably priced and well-proportioned.Particular favourites are the salmon and mushroom pizza, although all of the pizzas are excellent, with fresh ingredients and very well-prepared dough.

Not the finest Italian cuisine and expensive.

When youre on the road, especially if youve traveled all the way from Newcastle, NSW - finding a small intimate Italian restaurant like the Twins was pure heaven! Want a magnificent meal? You gotta go!

Great food and great venue

The pasta and pizza here is so good. some of the portions seem small like the calamari and the truffle fettuccine, but delicious anyway. the tiramisu is great too. its also byo.

Pizzas in Australia are rarely very good, and so I did not have too high expectations. However, turned out this one was great. Definitely worth the money. Recommended.

I liked this at first. The service was good, the pasta was nice (what we usually went for), we had amazing Crepes Suzette a few times, and the coffee was good. However soon we started having bad experiences with pretty terrible food. I usually like to give restaurants a few chances, particularly if they had been good in the past, but it happened too many times. Some of the pasta we got just didnt taste right at all and I was surprised that they considered that good enough. The service changed a little too. At times they seemed to be disagreeing over who would come out and serve us, or they were under obvious stress or pressure of some sort (even at quiet times) and it showed through a lot.

So much good food. I have eaten here for a few years, and always enjoy my meal. The food is beautifully cooked, and the prices are good too.

Great local Italian restaurant with great service and even better food. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and the salads are delicious! Absolutely would recommend going here if you are in the area.

Our lunch was excellent. We had the venison ragu pasta. Highly recommended. The girls menu always delivers!

Great food and atmosphere. The pumpkin and goat cheese salad was great. The pizzas are the highest quality authentic Italian pizzas in the area.The bolognese is so good it inspired me to try and make bolognese at home, which took over 5 hours and its still nothing compared to theirs.Just a heads up, its a popular place and you may need to make a reservation. Well worth the wait.

A most pleasant lunch. There was a group booking of 18. Service was excellent. Food the same. Would thoroughly recommend this venue for great Italian fare.

Very poor service tonight...we were ignored for nearly 15 minutes before being given a menu.It didnt improve much from there... Main was average, but dessert was very good.Perhaps we caught them on an off night?Disappointed as we had heard good things.Reluctant to go back.

My local pizza place. We dont go here much because there was no gluten free pizza base option (at least the last time we checked). But pizzas are very tasty and reasonably priced.

Went to Twins on the Village at my daughters request to celebrate her birthday - the fettuccine dish was excellent, and the Gnocchi was tasty and filling by all accounts. Service was prompt and polite - this will become a regular!

Love love love this place! Have been going to this place since it opened and it has never disappointed. The girls are lovely and the food is spectacular.
