Its one of the oldest hotel in Srinagar.. The ambience is great, the hotel rooms are big is size so no complaint there. Also the food in the restaurant is pretty good and worth trying. The only concern in room service which little late and not up to the mark. Overall a great experience!

The hotel is very clean throughout and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. Helpful, friendly staff who go above & beyond to make sure you have the best time. Owner is very kind, generous & welcoming. He made kashmiri special dishes available for us. Breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. Ive stayed here on a few occasions. Here are my comments:- 1) The default setting for the electric kettle is that it wont work.😂 So you need to call the reception and they will bring a working one! 2) If you are mixing warm water with cold in the shower, forget it. No matter how hard you try, either it will scald your skin or freeze it. Safest is to use the bucket provided and bathe, using the mug! 3) The beds have a strange wooden extended 6 inch outward margin running all along. So if you want to put on your shoes sitting on the bed, forget it. 5) No WIFI provided unless you are in the lobby on the ground floor. And they like to call themselves 4 star! 6) Its in a secluded, neighbourhood. So dont expect to access public transport. 7) Dont expect a study table in the room. If you need to work on a laptop, work on the low centre table sitting on a sinking sofa. 8) Hot water had hours. Its not available at your own schedule. 9) The staff are really well behaved, gentle and helpful. Thats the saving grace. Otherwise its a very average hotel, not worth the effort of staying so far from the main parts of the city.

Hotel is good for stay... centralized heater in the hotel works great but the wifi which is the main sources for the guest to connect with there people and family that is not so good ... bcoz only in the lobby reception area only wifi works ... we cant have it in our room... place is good... outside the gate only there is auto stand and some 15min walk there is a food mall try fried chicken momos there.

Comrade inn is beautifully designed hotel situated in Raj Bagh area. It’s easy to access and is in the centre of the city. Accessibility around the place is great. You can reach to any tourist place across Srinagar quickly from comrade inn, be it famous dal lake or city centre Lal chowk which is in a walking distance. Besides being in the centre Jehlum is also situated 5 min walk distance from it. If you want to enjoy a good cup of coffee. Barista is attached and situation on the front side of the hotel. if you are visiting Srinagar this would be the economical and best option for you.

The hotel needs donation.. Huge cost cutting practices adopted by hotel..which might be bcz of lesser tourism in Kashmir.Hot water only in morning, room heaters only for few hours in night, no hair dryer, no buffet for breakfast and dinner and lot more..But staff is good and helpful. I had a extraordinary superb experience with the staff and management of this hotel.My mom lost her ring in the room.The staff searched everywhere,even removed the carpet.It was snowing heavily outside.The owner managed to arrange a carpenter,who separated the arm of the sofa,and the ring was found.It took about 3/4 hrs in the complete operation. Nothing was charged from me.Incident of 10 March 2016, which we will never forget.A million thanks to staff and management.

I stayed for 2 nights(25nov-27Nov), room was large but cleanliness was not good enough.Restaurant was awesome and restaurant staff was very professional and humble.Hotel provides only 1 water bottle at the time of checkin and charges you for mineral water from next day as it doesnt include it.Hotel room need more maintenance and cleanliness.

This hotel is really peaceful. The staff is really warm. They have got an in house cafe named Barista and it saves really good munchies. A perfect place for tourists and premium business travellers. They have spacious rooms as well. Calm and quiet out of the city rush, still its near to the city. What else you need? Go ahead and check in fellows.

Nice and courteous staff. Didn’t expected such nice hospitality from it. Getting food was a bit problem here as most of the food in the menu were unavailable. If you are a foody like me, then you will have to shell out good amount of pf money to hire auto Rickshaw even for short distances. Also a note for drinkers that their are only three wine shops available in Srinagar.

Absolutely everything is perfect.  Rooms are large with bathtub in bathroom.plenty hot water, food was delicious, bed super comfy, peaceful and quiet. Special mention is the staff.  Fantastic group!  Friendly & helpfull, eager to make the stay pleasant and just a really great staff.Nothing to dislike - seriously. only minus.they dont have rooms with balcony.  It is a 10-15 minute beautiful walk to main market dal gate area.would defiantly come again😊

Nice Hotel (worth 4 star) within 13 min walks from Zero Bridge. The room consists of mini refrigerator, electric kettle along with packs for making tea or coffee. Rooms have bathtub(some) and Air-condition as well as mountain view. Staff was very supportive, helpful and also the food was amazing. Only demerit is that there is no fast food restaurant nearby.( No pizza, burger or Italian)Note-Do not eat shahi paneer in whole Kashmir.

Food is okay. Staff is polite. One of my fellow girl travellers was not comfortable staying in. Hotel management needs to give more attention to safety of visititors. Heating arrangent is good. Rooms are beautiful.

I stayed in the hotel for one day from 20-09-2015 to 21-09-2015. The rooms were well maintained and clean. I had opted for a dinner and breakfast plan and the food was good and tasty. The room and concierge services were also good. Nice place to stay in Srinagar, just around half an hour from the airport.

Coffee shop at its best. Staff is disciplined and and well mannered i was quite impressed with the quality of coffee and cake.
