I have great memories of this institution. I passed out in 1965 and at that time Mr. G.L.Ganju was acting principal.Prior to him Mr. J.B.Nanda and Mr. Malhotra were our principals. Mr.Malhotra died in air crash while coming from Jammu. Mr.Ali was our HOD who was aeronautical engineer. Mr. Tajamul Hussain and MR.G.M.Shah were our workshop in charge. Mr. Tajamul Hussain went to Germany for higher studies and Mr.G.M.Shah took over as next workshop in charge.Our cricket team was one of the best teams at that time and I had the honour of being the opening batsman of the team. Folk dance team was also formed by me on encouragement of principal Mr. J.B.Nanda and partcipated in Kashmir Festival at Tagore Hall as singer as well as in folk dance.Lot of old memories are floating in my mind associated with this college. Hope my memories will be shared with present students. Wishing all the best for the prosperity of this institution.(AMRIT MOHAN SINGH BANDA )
