The most active of all hostels .its allotted to the first year students ,security in first few months is very tight due to ragging but now it has almost stopped.it has four sharing room with not so much space but enough to sleep and study.it has three outdoor badminton courts and just adjacent to it one commonhall is there that has 4 table tennis tables some chess boards and a gym

Hello,Doing .....Btech at -NIT srinagarThe hostel is really good and comfortable for living.....As per the facilities are concerned, it makes it good to excellent.... bcoz everything is easily accessible within the hostel......the facilities required which are easily available are as follows1) stationary for the student2)Good drinking water3)Sports playground.4)Medical facilities.....etc.....

Generally used for first year students,features - wifi router, special mess, two badminton coat, good mountain View from first floor windowDemerits - no LAN cable access like other hostels, shared room (3 or 4 students per room) ,

The hostel is well maintained and lovely. It has well maintained infrastructure and building. It is lovely and seperated. It is a court below for playing volleyball or other sports.The hostel has a dedicated wifi network with full coverage and speed.I would request the students there to maintain the hostel premises and make sure the walls and floors remain clean.

It is a 3rd floor hostel for B-tech 1st year student having its own mess facility.....Wide range of rooms.....And accomodated by 4 students in a room..

Hostel is full of enthusiastic people and the structure is good.The climate is pleasant and the dal lake view along with background snow ladden mountains add charm to it.

Indus Hostel is nyc place. Bathroom is good. Provided with working geysers. There is 4 people in one room but room is designed only for 3. So it is kind of mess. Overall this is a good hostel in a government college.

Its a hostel having rooms of sufficient capacity for 4 persons, the rooms have wonderful sights from Windows and broadband is alsoavailable there .

I m living here for a month. The hostel rooms are too conjugated for 4 people.washroom become very dirty at afternoon.the mountain secnery looks good. Mess food is also avg.

Its the first year hostel in the NIT srinagar. Talking about its surroundings it is very attractive and beautiful. It has a lawn in it where there is always a running fountain. It also havebadminton courts, gym, tt tables, carom etc. When u get inside it, at times you might find it attractive and clean, but mostly it is a mess. It is always dirty, toilets are not clean, you wont find good drinking water, u wont get clen water in washrooms etc. Living there is a challenge for most.

Indus is a student hostel in National Institute of Technology Hazratbal Srinagar formerly known as Regional Engineering College. The hostel has been named after Indus river.

Indus hostel is better as compared to other hostels. Currently this hostel is given to first year students. Cleaning is done on regular basis. WiFi speed is not good some time it irritates a lot.Mess food is ok, not best. Hostel office have good concern about first year students as they are new in college.I had lived my best first year here.

Good speed Wifi is available here .room size is enough for three persons .but here it is accommodated to 4 students.almirah is also present .mobile laptop charging facility is available here.on the front of hostel there is a loan having good garden ..better sitting arrangemenr is available .badminton court is also available.in night you can also play badminton.good lighting facility.

This place is accommodation for first year students. Mess is inside the hostel and there is a stationary and recharge shop inside the hostel area. The mess food is just average. There is canteen area near the hostel so that students can eat food if they dont like mess food.The hostel were initally constructed for 3 students per room but due to increase in seats. In one room there are 4 students which makes the room very combusted.Bathroom have very pathetic conditions, sometimes geyser are not working, sometimes light bulbs are fused, sometimes there is dirty water, there is no hanger in bathroom to raise clothes

It is 3 storey building ,having approx 130 rooms.Hostel is very neat nd clean .Lots of bathrooms(fitted with geaser)also this hostel has park (with verities of flowers), badminton court .everyday sweeper comes to here nd maintain its cleaneenes .But one thing missing that is geaser at ☺️sandaas☺️ room(bencho, dhone me fatt jaati hai) .There have to been 4 students at each room with 4 bed, 3 table,2 chairs nd one gordrej ,so the room becomes a little bit congested.But overall gd hostel.
