During my solo trip to Srinagar some days back, I luckily came across Houseboat hostel. I always wanted to stay in a houseboat, but they are pretty expensive, but houseboat hostel gives accommodation at really affordable rates. Loved the prices, service and the host Muzzafar is amazing and very friendly! Thank you so much for this experience :)

Glad to be one of the first guest at Indias first houseboat hostel opened in Nigeen Lake, Srinagar. The houseboat is vintage with amazing owners to take care of. Breakfast provided is lovely. The view is pretty amazing. Mountains can be seen of all 4 sides. Looks like heaven to me. Peaceful place! Makes an amazing place to chill. Best part is, its very affordable.

Recently during my visit to Srinagar, I stumbled upon the HouseBoat hostel. I was amazed by how beautiful this hostel was! The rooms are lovely, architecture is ancient and the view of the surrouding is magnificient. In love with this place :D
