Amazing customer service! Called on 3/23 to make a first time patient appointment and was able to get scheduled the next day at 8am due to a cancellation. Everyone was very friendly and I was seen as soon as my paperwork was filled. Purchased glasses and even got offered to pick them up later the same day! I had never experienced that with any other optometrist. The whole process took about an hour (appointment and the purchase of glasses) and I returned at 11 to pick up my pair!Exceptional service overall.

Everyone is EXTREMELY helpful. From the very 1st phone call to make the initial appointment and the woman who verifies your insurance goes out of her way to help with the insurance company. But Dr. Abernathy and young lady who helped me with the Scieral Lenses are OUTSTANDING! They are patient and understanding. They are supportive and encouraging. Its been years since Ive had an eye exam but felt I felt like I needed a new RX so I called for an appointment. They were able to get me in before the end of the year so I could use my benefits. From walking in to walking out it was 50 mins that was paperwork, all the machines (idk what, I did all the tests) seeing the doctor and finding out my rx is the same my glasses are just old and scratched. Everyone is masked + temp checks + sanitizer and they wipe down all the machines with alcohol after you use them so I felt its as safe as it could be. I saw Dr Abernathy he was friendly and quick, showed my the scans of my eyes and explained everything even though it was all good, and didnt keep me sitting in a room waiting for him forever. Everyone is friendly in the office and it seems to be run very well so there isnt a lot of time waiting. Also the main reason I made an appointment was because my wife recently brought my son there and was impressed with the office and Dr Abernathy and told me I should go, so it would seem my positive experience seems to be the standard.

I got hit in the eye with a toy thrown by my child and was worried about having a severe eye injury. I called Klein Eyecare and they were happy to squeeze me in the following day. They were courteous, friendly and prompt. Dr. Abernathy was very kind and listened to my concerns. This was my second visit to their office and I was very pleased with the level of care provided both times. I highly recommend this clinic.

Made an appointment for my son they took my insurance information after weeks of wait finally went in and of course they don’t take our insurance. The front desk ppl are just sitting passing ours and not checking insurance info properly. Double check before you go!Took time off work and missed school for this to happen because they said they took my insurance only they didn’t.

06/2021Last year I got my glasses at Klein (see the the bottom review for the horrible service - which was very unusual). I went back again this year and had the most wonderful experience. My optician this year, Ercie. was A-MAZING! I love her and she more than made up for the bad service from someone else last year. Not sure if you can request which optician can help you, but I strongly suggest asking for Ercie.06/2020I have gone to Klein Eye Care for close to 30 years and LOVE Dr. Scott! He is wonderful. However, I have had the worst customer experience when order my new glasses with prescription. When I sat down the with salesperson after selecting my frames, she did not go over any of the options regarding getting scratch protection, transition lenses, etc.. The first thing I noticed when I went outside...no transition! Then I realized they did not give me any of the options! So I have no idea if I even have scratch resistant lenses. When I got them home, I had an issue with not being able to see at an intermediate distance. Which I do have to say, I took them back and they did a great job at fixing that! However, before walking out, I told the lady working that area (glass fitting?) that I wanted transition added. No problem. When I went back to pick them up after getting the intermediate vision issue fixed, I asked her if they had the transition added. She had no idea! So then she said to leave them and they can still add it. Got called back the next day to come and pick them up and she said transition could be put on the lens because it was not available. When I went to pick them up, I told that I was very unhappy having to pay $350 for a pair of glasses I am not happy with and dont want. All I got was a sorry from her. All they had to do was check to make sure transition could have been added and if not, what could have been the possible options.

Kyndal and Dr. Abernathy are really kind and thorough! They always make sure you know exactly what’s going on and always make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommend :)

I had a great experience at Klein Eyecare. The service was wonderful. Kyndal helped me through the eye examine part and was so fast and knew how to work all the machines and keep you comfortable at the same time. Then Dr. Abernathy came in for the examine and as always was very polite and listen to me and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

I cant say enough good things about these guys, from the front desk staff, to the doctors, everything was top notch! My son injured his eye late in the day on Dec 23rd, right before closing. The team got us in and took their time to look at the entire injury, consulted with Texas Childrens and got us taken care of. Dr Abernathy even gave us his cell number due to the nature of the injury and followed up multiple times, on Christmas eve and even on Christmas Day! Wow, thank you so much for the care you provided! And by the way, Im not even a regular patient, Im from out of town!

They always have gone above and beyond to take care of me and answer my questions even if it was after hours or even on their day off. My last visit ended up in a referral to a neurologist. My neurologist was SO IMPRESSED with the advise and diagnosis Dr Gibson had given me. She stated in all her years experience, she had NEVER had an eye doctor correctly diagnose or know to tell a patient to take the ice test which was recommended to me by Dr Gibson. I had the pleasure of working with Kyndal today before I went back to talk with Dr. Gibson. She was able to answer any question or concern that I had in a very kind manner. Dr. Gibson again made sure that I understood exactly what was happening with my eyes and provided me with comforting advice and commentary. The best eye appointment Ive ever had! I decided to make an appointment here after a very horrible experience at Americas Best.Yesterday was my first visit to Klein Eyecare and I was beyond impressed! The office is very large, and offers beautiful different eye ware including designer frames and sunglasses to select from. The staff was very friendly and even though they seemed extremely busy, I was seen early and everyone that helped me took their time assisting me. Doctor Abernathy was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and really addressed all of my questions even taking extra time to explain terminology. Leslie and Rebecca were also very attentive and helped me check-in and discussed contacts with me. Ive always had trouble finding glasses I liked, but Andrea was very experienced and quickly showed me frames that best suited me. After this great experience, I will never go to another eye doctor. Really nice place. Ive been going here for years (probably since about 2009). Dr. Gibson knows his stuff, the place is always immaculate, and I usually get in and out of my appointment in under an hour. Plus everyone is super nice. I usually dont like things in and around my eyes so Im skittish, but the girl doing my tests (Kyndal) was really patient and gentle and made me feel comfortable.

My glasses were mistaken has a toy by our new puppy. Had a trip planned and needed replacement. Contacted Klein Eyecare and had my replacement glasses before my trip. Im relatively new to Klein Eyecare, but Dr. Gibson has worked closely with me to figure out solutions to my issues, patiently trying different types of contacts until something worked, and he took my concerns seriously until my eyes were happy. The team helped me get my insurance in line, and Kyndal does a good job of getting me prepared for my appointment and making me feel comfortable. In the past Ive had harsh doctors, but here the whole staff has helped me to be comfortable and not embarrassed with my eye issues.
