This school is horrible. I had to pick my granddaughter and was scared setting in the parking lot waiting for her.I had to go inside the school. Hoodlums every where. Mr. Harvey is awesome. I was treated well by the staff. I think parents need to step back and take a look at how they are raising their kids. Because the way they were acting, talking, and there appearance was disgusting.As it appeared to me the government, you and I will be supporting them forever.

I go to this school right now. Im a junior and this is my first year in SHS. I come from a small high school so moving to Spring is a BIG difference. I love the diversity and how the other kids here turned out to be friendly- despite this schools reputation. There are around 2900-3400 kids in this school so expect to see some new faces every few days. Its never boring! Im in all honors classes and Im passing so my first year is going by successfully.My teachers are understanding and kind.

This school is so diverse. Most of the teachers and staff are good & try the best to make the school better. The main problems with the school are those students that are always skipping which are the ones that behave bad and make the school look bad

This school sucks ass but is getting better as the years progress. We just got a new principal and she is doing a pretty good job at turning things around. Dont judge us now for people in the past. Also the few students you see on the news dont represent the rest of the student body. All you see on tv are the negative things about spring because thats the only way to interest viewers. No one thinks about all of he positive aspects such as our world champion colorguard, top choirs in the state, and some of the most talented and intelligent people. Although I really hate some of the people at the school and I believe that a lot of the kids here are childish and immature I would not trade it to go anywhere else. I love spring and my closest friends are here and I love how some of these teachers actually grow a relationship with their students. Dont judge a book by its cover so dont judge spring by its cover.

My oldest daughter goes here. The school offers many extracurricular activities and has some of the best AP course teachers in the city.

Horrible. Dont work here or send your child here. Its oppressive and chaotic all the time. Pray for those who find themselves here. Ms. Diaka Carter is a breathe of fresh air, though and most students are sweet but the baddies are not expelled.

You drive by the school during school hours and you find kids everywhere. In the parking lot, across the school at different fast food places at the movie theater. Ive seen fights break out at these places and not just one on one but groups. This school is a joke im pulling my son out tomorrow.

Its really sucks. Not going to lie, its a bad school. Its have good teacher and program but the whole campus overall is really awful and students are not getting a proper education which they deserve.

I went to this in 2002 graduate from it its the best school theirs is everyone is nice to me when I was their.

I used to attend this school my freshman year. I had the coolest teachers, but I had a sh*tty experience with this school.

Mr. Clark worst in schools history. Doesnt care about your kids. Im a parent not a student. Just one big reason not to send ur kid to spring high. !!!!OMG I MISS SPRING HIGH SCHOOL SO MUCH; I WENT TO SPRING HIGH SCHOOL IN MY FRESHMAN YEAR;but i moved the 2nd semester of my freshman year and moved to andy dekaney high school(now im in the 10th grade).every day i think of the spring high schools speech and debate team,cause i was on there. they help me break out of my stage fright and my shyness, and i thank them for that, i still see them around spring texas.. some i see at their jobs some at movies hey even in the summer at splashtown.i miss spring high school so much all the people i grew up with from elementary are there. and its been so long i even forgot their names which is sad that i cant remember their manes (some of them)spring high school is the best high school ive ever been to, i learned allot of things from theremiss zuma (freshman geometry)miss ricks (english)miss scherai (biology)mr.douget ( speech and debate)so many things that i experence from spring i still carry on with me.i love you spring high school

Worst ignorant students. Worst rude staff. Worst under cooked food. Worst high school in spring. I hated all 4 years here, miserably. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Spring ISD is without a doubt the worst school system that I have ever come across. My children have had the worst learning experience ever in this district. The teachers are rude and god help if your the parent and know just a little more than they do or show them up for the stupidity that they show. As a parent you must stay on top of the teachers, counselors, and yes even the principal to make sure your kids are not getting the blamed for something they did not do or to make sure that what you expect as a parent is really what is being done and not some thing else. All I can say is parents listen to your students if they something is going on they are most likely not exaggerating. This district is absolutely appalling from silent lunches at the elementary school for simple mistakes and mind you the silent lunches are not in the school handbook nor the district handbook as an acceptable punishment just adopted by the school, the kids are bullies and crappy lunches to teachers allowing students to be disruptive in class and have cell phones out to text as they please and teacher does nothing about it, to fights over stupid bus seats the physical education teacher thinking they know more than the parents who both have a degree in healthcare and work with surgeons daily, to the in house after school charging you for days that you do not use the services all because they have to pay their staff ( Im sorry are they not paid by the hour by the employer anyhow) and you must give them a 2 week notice for any changes and during that time you continue to pay the services at the normal rate until the 2 weeks are over even though the students are not utilizing it any longer, etc. I would not recommend this school district to anyone. My recommendation is RUN dont WALK as far from this district as you can get. The district is a JOKE.

I graduated in 03 from spring high school and although I may one day have to send my unsuspecting children here I implore any who can to seek elsewhere and I will tell you why.I was placed on in-school suspension because of the following reasons:going to the parking lot to get lunch money before lunch(not during class)an empty water bottle.(not even a rule check the rule book)a broken toe which made me unable to wear shoes.My brother was placed on in-school suspension for fist bumping (a sign of affection) a friend at lunch.I witnessed all of my friends forced to leave for various reasons including parents pulling them out and one occasion in which the school police spent 6 hours searching a friend of mineś car only to exspell him for 2 marijuana seeds.I was abducted by the school police (off school property) for what is a ticketable offence...My class Principal Mrs. Rich failed to notify my parents of my whereabouts and laughed when my mother called, worried, to see if I was at the school.During the broken toe insentient I was sobbing as they were sentencing me to two weeks of suspension when the heartless b of a school principal Mrs Marshal felt the need to encourage me to drop out, asking ¨Why dont you just drop out?¨, ¨your 18 now you can do that so why dont you?¨ I just wanted to get my education and get out I was almost done but it was a struggle, there were times when I contemplated killing myself. I was a straight A student and wanted to be a teacher before I came to Spring High School.I beg you, if you have to send your children here be wary of what you are told by this school administration about your child, my mom didnt believe me for years and the abuse didnt stop until she threatened a harassment lawsuit.Also some other facts about Spring High School:A female teacher and a female student were having a relationship and everyone knew and no one stopped it.They were in the news for falsifying the number of drop outs.. What they did was force kids to leave and then get them to sign a promise to get their GED or continue their education in another fashion. This allowed them to mask the drop-out number and in some cases still receive funding for those children.

Spring High was a very crowed school, but all in all, if you find great friends and focus hard on your school work and programs or clubs your in, youll make through and graduate. The staff and teachers are great, some can be harsh or rude, but most of the time they do it b/c they know your smart and can succeed in graduating :-) I struggled with TAKS, but i made it through b/c i found teachers who cared enough to help me pass and encourage me to know that i could do it :-) The staff was also great b/c they supported the anti-bulling. If there is ever a bully bothering you, or groups of students getting you down or discouraging you. Dont hesitate to tell a staff, trust me they care. Ive seen worse problems than that and they always manage to help get you out of whatever situation is hurting you. No matter how small or big the problem is. There will be bullys in life, but you dont have to take there nonsense, just have strength to tell someone. Now I did like the library, there were good selections of books, and its pretty peaceful in there if you wanna study or unwind from a long day reading a good book. Okay sometimes lunch can icky but sometimes its pretty good! You just gotta find a good day to eat on and a good line to get food from :-) The chicken nuggets were my favorite and the snack line was really good too. Their sports, music, theater and art programs are really great! So go for it, if you wanna do something productive and fun.I liked my high school life, but i had my rough times too. But i made it through b/c i kept on trying and trying. I mean there were times i wanted to give up and just drop out, but i didnt, b/c i wanted to earn the diploma and know that i did my best no matter what. So dont give up, no matter what your going through. Your going to make it. Never give up and dont look to the past, just keep on moving forward and doing YOUR best that you can. :-)

Spring H.S.once had a really bad reputation However now that Principal Ms. Tia Simmons (a very caring and involved principal) is there, its a much better environment! PARENTAL and Administration involvement is KEY!

Too many missing children, human trafficking and drug activity is visual right across the street from the school yet the school doesnt do anything in attempts to help solve the problem....

All i have to say is this school can become a war zone at times
