For the first time Bata has stepped in Sonada with its footwears. Opening of outlet of its kind has added significance to the place. One can make out the rate of expansion and growth of town both in terms of population and economy. Infact, Sonada has been success in drawing buyers not only from local vicinity but large number of shoppers from Darjeeling and Kurseong (needless to mention other) as formally these two towns were the leading hub in terms of marketing and shopping, popularly identified as Bazzar.
