I would have given five stars except for the fact that this location is closing and therefore they do not have a complete selection of items. I was able to get quite a few cans of the specialized low phosphorus kidney food that I need for my cat. The young men who were working were very nice and offered to help me and answer my questions. To be honest Ive been at other pet stores and basically been left on my own. Its very hard for me to read all the little tiny labels on the can so his help was very welcome. Sorry to see that theyre closing this location I hope that those two young men in particular are given jobs at other locations. Im sorry I did not get their names

This Petco is going out of business. I was able to purchase a stand for my mother in love for less then 50% everywhere else w as selling for. Very limited stock, so hurry in.

Petco is good. You buy online and pick up in store. You can also ask questions online and the will answer in real time.

Was browsing through the reptile area and discovered that every single pre-packaged container of crickets was dead, as were all the bags filled at the store. Seems pretty wasteful and inhumane. The store manager dismissed my concern.

I just recently starting going to this store for my saltwater tank supplies and I was very satisfied with my experience . The General Manager has a very friendly and inviting personality and took great care of answering any questions I had to the best of her ability. Not a huge selection of fish but that understandable since it is an expensive hobby.

The employee was fabulous! I had a horrible time picking a beta since they literally had dozens! She showed me her favorite and even had him named Twilight. Yup, he came home with me and kept the name! Plus knew my tank charcoal filter pads. Wonderful experience!

The place is clean and the staff are nice. My dog can be difficult but the groomer was able to get his nails trimmed and his teeth brushed under 15min! Loved it here

The gentleman at the front is the same guy I spoke with on the phone and he was super helpful and nice on the phone and in store while I was checking out!

Cats are pets too. We went to get deworming medicine for our kittens. There was tons of stuff for dogs but only one tiny bottle for cats. I will go back because looking at other animals and paraphernalia is interesting.

Service was great, however one item I ordered online wasn’t actually in stock when I arrived.

I went there to get a refill of sopphresh kitty litter and it was empty. The store is very clean and nice tho. I normally shop at the Beachwood location

The female manager there refuse to honor their price match policy! It was like she couldnt understand how I found such a great price for the same exact item sku number and all! She checked my phone ,then checked hers, but still wouldnt honor it! Even another worker saw it and confirmed same item, but she refused! Wasted 25 + minutes with her ! So I was purchasing other items but because she was so rude I left everything and got the item at another store no problem!

Have had a good experience here with dog groomer Morgan for over 3 years, but as soon as she wasn’t working there anymore, our experience was turned upside down. Booked an appointment for 2 o’clock but staff said that the appointment was for 1. Had to reschedule for another time. Overall petco has been great for us, but it wasn’t petco, it was Morgan.

Great pet supply store. We adopted our 2 cats here 10 years ago from Forever friends foundation. Sometimes they have the cheapest price for litter sometimes they dont.

Manager was trying to get me to buy a large tank for 1 beta fish I was getting for my little boy... then I found a beta tank set directly across from register marked clearance 13.99 she refused to give it to me at 13.99 because it cost more and her employees marked it wrong... not my problem, I picked it off the shelf right in front of her so there was no shady behavior on my end... yet she treated me as if I conjured the price sticker up out of nowhere ... Will never come here again not worth it

The saltwater selection is dwindling and rather sad looking. Im not a fan of the groomers there, they always seem to have an attitude so I take my dog else where. Other than that they have a better selection of blue buffalo than petsmart and pets supply plus. The only thing is check the date of the dog/cat/any other animal food you are going to buy. They dont pull outdated food often enough.

Informed 2 employees about a bag of corycatfish that were still floating in a tank and niether seemed the slightest bit concern about opening the bag. Also they had the sickest looking sailfin tang with no sailfins and no color on it and I asked to adopt it since it was so sickly and clearly not being taken care of or medicated and I was lied to being told they just come in without sailfins and its quite healthy and then the associate walked away from me and didnt want to answer further questions to help someone else

My cats love Just One and Pure Bites and I can always find them here.😺

I purchased an aquarium tree from the Beachwood store, which is too large for my 6 gallon Fluval Edge. I have been searching Petcos weekly to find a replacement until I finally gave up. The Solon location was my last attempt to find one; this is the point in which I gave up. I proceeded to return the live plant and was going to purchase another item. The sales associate called for the manager, who never once bothered to address me (RUDE B.....); said they could not return livestock, the item had to be returned to the store in which it was initially purchased. I was never told this at the time of the initial purchase, and I would agree if it were a live animal. I hate your store; the manager needs to take a course in customer service. The fact that the manager/supervisor never had enough respect to address me, directly, felt like a racist act. The incident occurred on June 2, 2019, just before noon.

I will NEVER visit or bring my dog to this aweful store . I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I cannot believe anyone would hire the thing they call the “salon manager” what a pompous unkempt troll of a human, she has no patience with anyone asking questions or the dogs for that manner as i saw her rip a dog across the table by its face!! I simply asked how much it would be to groom a ShiTzu and I got corrected quite rudely about how to pronounce shihhhh tzuuuu I’m sorry I didn’t take a two-week grooming program like she did I went to actual college I cannot believe anyone would hire this woman I cannot believe your store is so un animal friendly that you can’t see what she’s doing the the animals and people in your store me and my family will not be back

Usually friendly staff and some good clearance finds. Prices are decent although I find amazon has better deals sometimes. Please just STOP selling birds/reptiles/small mammals that are continuously overbred, have significant health issues (bringing emotional and financial hardship to families), and live in tiny enclosures - especially when there are many adoptable critters on Petfinder (turtles, geckos, rabbits, ferrets and more).

I do not usually post reviews but today I will because I feel that the service that I received at this store (grooming area) was very poor. I took my dog to have his nails trimmed and the staff in the grooming area were very rude. I will never go back there again for grooming. However, the people in the store were very nice and professional.
