WIT boys hostel will be a good choice if you are looking for a religious as well as comfortable hostel for students. All necessities are available near hostel campus including chemist , Xerox facilities , breakfast -lunch- dinner mess , local shops for groceries and other hostel things. Building are renovated and allowing students to stay in new building which is clean and hygiene. The best part of hostel is there is jain temple in hostel campus along with temple there is small garden and parking slot. Rector of hostel also has recidence in hostel campus which always helpful fir emergency needs. There are two jain mess available inside the campus for students . One is properly maharastra flavour and other is common and mainly north indian stuff. Students are allowed to join temple community and can participate in several events on regular basis in temple. They can also participate in yearly event by WIT boys hostel students on paryushan parv in one of the oldest jain temple in Manik chawk , Solapur . Every year WIT Boys hostels students participate on different theme and dance. Last but not the least a good place to look if you are in Walchand institute of technology, Solapur. A best place for Jain students, but always welcome for all.

More for the memories that you will have here after you pass out. Facilities are not good but it teaches you to survive.

Here 2seater rooms are well maintained and best for living hostel life in all aspects..But the problem is about the 3seater rooms which are in worst condition. Even the buttons for tubelight and fan are old and needs to be replaced by new models. There are only 2 charging points for 3 students which is the point be noted. Have common toilet bathroom for whole floor. Rooms have all broken windows and poor quality of cupboard..Overall the 3seater rooms must be renovated immediately in modern conditions..

Boys hostel at Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur campus is spacious. Ample space to park students bicycles n two-wheelers. Situated at a location which is just 10 minutes walking distance from the college. 5 stories buildings to accommodate a large number of students from all states in India. All newly built buildings have two beds and attached washrooms containing commodes. Two separate fixed beds n two separate cupboards and a set of table n chair in each room. Enough space on the table for the drawing board. Each cupboard has enough space too for keeping the students belongings. Its very nice of the hostel management that theres no lift provision in the hostel buildings. Students at young age can keep fit just by climbing the stairs up n down. Total 2 messes available for meals trying to satiate a variety of students from other states. Having daily meals at these messes is mandatory for the hostelites. However, looking to the number of students residing at the hostels, at least one more mess is a must to avoid the mismanagement especially in the lunch hours. Strict quality control at each mess is absolutely required measure to be undertaken by the hostel management. Fire audit at the hostel is also a must looking to the safety aspect. Cleanliness is up to the student residents. Its the virtue to be inculcated.Most promisingly enough, the ragging factor is almost eradicated from this campus. So the students n their parents can definitely heave a sigh of relief. In general a very good atmosphere for students in this hostel.
