The stay was overall fine. when we went there it was raining and water had seeped in our room... thankfully we hadnt kept anything on the floor ! you can roam around the place and have some peaceful time .they even have activities if you want. the staff is courteous and is available if you need anything.the food was good but was expensive compared to the price they charge for the buffet. you can get more options for less price at JW Marriott !!!

1. Route:Do not go via Damdama Lake Road, which is what Google Maps may show more often. The roads are terrible. And the whole approach to the property is an incredibly rough patch.Taking the Sohna-Gurgaon Marg can be some saving grace for your car.In fact the route can be a major deal breaker when considering traveling to the property2. Property:a) Open self parking - which does not do much good to your car on hot days.b) Staff: Hospitable and very helpful.c) Grounds: Golf carts to take your around. Lush green grounds. Weirdly enough the property is very very dimly lit in the evening, which may dissuade you from walking around after sunset.3. Pet PolicyThe property welcomes pets (at a per night charge of INR 3000+taxes) but you cannot book the regular rooms if you have pet. You will have to book one of the villas to have your pets in those rooms.Good walking stretches for your pets. Although the green areas are a bit unkept and you may have to watch for ants or other insects creeping on your pet.4. RoomWe booked a private villa here and the room was good spacious.The sheets and towels could have been a bit more clean but the space makes up for any shortcomings5. Pool and RecreationThe main pool is fantastic and pleasant. The covid sanitization were claimed but we didnt see much being followed. So time your dip when there are fewer folks in the pool.There are many other recreation activities like cycling, gokarting, mini zoo which you can explore.6. DiningWe took a buffet meal at the Living Room, which was just average. The bar too at the restaurant is very average and does not have much to offer.The Chinese restaurant Xiaochi offered good a-la-carte chinese menu

Well , what can be said about a sprawling green grass, rising sum, cool weather, brilliant breakfast. A great place to come and stay and relax, been there twice and another will be planned soon. Only problem you will face is in reaching the place.

We had stayed for three days. Its a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The property is very well manicured. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Food was good. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay.

We celebrated our sons 2nd bday and had a wonderful experience in our twin room pool villa. Though we made all the attangements from our end but the staff was always on their foot to support us. Our party went very well and all our guests were too happy. All our appreciation for the staff and the management for this lovely experience.

We went there as a family of three with our daughter. Route - Prefer a slightly longer route through a toll, which is a rather proper one and not the one going via the village.Place - The property is amazingly beautiful with lush green fields, mini-zoo, gaming zones and other amenities as well. What stood out during our stay was - our daughter thoroughly enjoyed feeding the Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Emu (never expected we would see this here). If weather permits, you can stroll and explore the vast property or use a cart whenever need be. It was really humid during July.Food - Food spread and the taste were simply perfect. Modifications were promptly done to our taste. Thanks to the diligent attendant.Service - Perhaps the best part of the resort as we noticed this on many occasions. The zookeeper took us on a personal tour to feed all the animals.Special mention to Mr. Rohit who sorted out a billing issue and helped us with smooth check-out formalities.We noticed a flat tyre at the time of departure. Amidst rainy weather, before we could think of anything, Mr. Pawan from the support staff came forward and within minutes changed the tyre. Thanks a ton to you and Westin for an overall pleasant stay!

Wifi was slow most of our stay. Curtains didnt close completely in our room. But staff was good. Very helpful. A tad bit of efficiency will take em a long way. Overall a good stay.

Lovely property with ample of scope for relaxation, fun and frolic. In the lap of nature with peacocks visiting you in the morning, a zoo, lake etc. Co-curricular activities like tennis, basketball courts, cricket field etc topped with decent spa facilities are its USP. However, approach road to the resort should be improved and bath fittings in some rooms need an upgrade.Had a lovely 3 night stay. Cheers!!!

We visited Westin Sohna resort and spa for a staycation. The resort is huge and has a very good ambiance. The staff in The living room were humble, polite and hospitable. The food was outstanding and compliments to the kitchen team. There’s something for every age group and is a perfect place for families.

It is a beautiful place..staff is very good. Our kids enjoyed mini zoo. We missed indoor activity zone there.property is good but not value for money..it is overpriced

The place is beautiful, has lot of activities (though some of these are closed during monsoon) for all age groups but almost all activities, including badminton, bicycling etc are chargeable and pretty costly. The worst part is access to the resort at least during monsoon, is a nightmare and there are reasonable chances that your car may get stuck up en route. Google maps doesnt show correct route.

Beautiful Place. Great Rooms. Wifi also available. Good Quality Food. So many animals in a small zoo in the same area. Gym, swimming pool, kids room everything is available. There is also an epic adventure zone with paintballing, trampoline, badminton, cricket, go karting, paragliding and so many more activities available. A beautiful lake is also nearby in walking distance. Had a wonderful weekend here.

The property was fully booked so the service was slow and inefficent. We booked the Royal villa but didnt find it worth the money, there are many activities to do but one can do them only in the evening since its so hot.One can find better properties with much better prices.

Good getaway in Delhi NCR, with luxurious cottages, swimming pools and lots of space for cycling. Huge open areas, animals and birds get us closer to nature. Theres also a lake within the property and a paragliding chance nearby.

Wonderful place, specially for small kids. A mini zoo is the main attraction for kids. Property is beautiful, with clean skies and no noise. Service is also good but the place is very crowded on weekends/holidays and you might not get the same levels of service at such peak occupancy. All in all, good place to visit with your family

This place is a great escape from the busy city- a Gurgaon away from Gurgaon. Has a peaceful lake, mini zoo, lush grounds, nice rooms and everything you need for a perfect getaway. It was my birthday and they surprised us with complimentary cake, beverages and dessert at dinner- thanks to Manoj at the Chinese restaurant for making my birthday dinner so special. WOuld love to visit it again. Its expensive but totally worth the experience.

Great ambiance. Sprawling resort with a heavy dose of greenery. Picture perfect huts spread lazily around and electric vehicles to ferry you across to boot. The only reason for loosing out on rating is the service. That aspect is not up to expectations.

Its an amazing place to be for a short vacation and relief from daily life. Massive property , you can just stroll down and lay doing nothing. Still you will feel that you experienced less. The food is delicious and the staff are all very cordial and warm. Play any activities from fishing to games. You name it and its there. Wedding functions to anniversary to birthday celebration, its all happening there. Go there to experience yourself.

Marvellous!! Best Place to enjoy with Family and Friends

We had booked 60 rooms over here for a destination wedding, no doubt the property is very good but they dont have full mirror in all their rooms n lighting is very dim both in rooms n passage .One has to switch on their mobile torch to move in their property and the service is pathetic. We stayed here for 3 days , we kept on calling for services but they were least concerned .most of the time no one will receive ur call n if they do keep waiting for hours for whatever u have requested for. Like we ordered for 4 towels n they will send just one or 2 that too after hrs since u have ordered. No tissues in tissue box, we ordered for coffee sachet and had to call minimum 5-6 times for the same and guess what? their staff comes after 1.5 hrs saying coffee sachet is not available. There are many such bad experience with them.And each guest of ours felt the same. Imagine we were around 160 people all having major problem with their service. I seriously dont understand why have they not maintained their services they are very very expensive n considered one of the best property in delhi ncr , still providing such bad services . Trust me on this they are so stengy in providing basic free stuff like coffee, sugar towels, toiletries etc that even a 2 star property will provide u with more free stuff n faar better services.

The resort staff is inefficient completely.Due of Covid protocols the resort was having 50% occupancy of rooms, still the service was pathetic, we ordered milk for my babies which took them more than 2 hours to deliver, anything we ordered even asking for water was a delayed job.The hygiene conditions were so poor that just after returning from the resort my wife was tested positive for typhoid fever.The staff was not practicing hygienic conditions.The tandoor guy was often asked by me to not touch his sweaty body while preparing rotis.There were insects, lizards and all kind of rodents in the rooms. Even on requesting them nobody turned to help us out for the same.Taste of food was pathetic, anything prepared was either too salty or without proper spices or was not properly cooked.My stay was from 29th June 2021 - 1st July 2021A bouquet hotel would be practicing better hygiene and food ethics.A completely waste of everything.If the concept is of only going there to just roam in there resort then national parks are better option.If concept is to see their resort and enjoy the nature then better to go to any hill station.A completely waste of time ananything and money.

Westin Sohna is really a cool place to chill out in weekdays or weekends. A pollution free place in midst of nature. Very well maintained property and all sort of comforts and outdoor activities are offered to guests here.

It was a fantastic stay during the pandemic. We chose a Premiere Pool Villa. It had a nice and clean plunge pool. My 4 year old enjoyed the play area and animals/birds in mini zoo. Food was exceptionally good. Most impressive though was the arrangement during COVID-19. Proper social distancing was maintained and interaction was kept to a minimum. Overall we cant wait to go back.

I am an annual visitor to this place, but can see services deteriorating continuously, we had to face a massive issue at check-in, which was disappointing. The food is also lower in spread and quality. Both dinner and breakfast could be improved.The property and greenery though deserve an applause and rating is all to them

Wonderful place for a short getaway from Delhi!

Its probably the most popular high end getaway from Gurgaon during the winters, within 1 hour distance. With lovely landscaping and appealing architecture, the reason to go there is for long walks within the lush green property, the professional service and if the weather permits then sunny dips in the common or private pools. Food is predictable but nice, I wouldnt call it lip smacking. Staff is very friendly. If you have the extra cash, then go there just for chilling out in the cottages with friends or family. Indian guests need to remember to keep the noise level low for respect to other visitors who may have spent the same amount for a quiet getaway 😊

Beautiful place. A must visit for all the delhiites who want to escape the busy life. Lots of activity for children to do. Loved the animal but I feel the emu is a exotic bird which should not there. I did not like how people were putting children on emus back to click pictures. The service is a bit slow being a large property. They are trying best to maintain covid 19 protocol safety. Overall a good relaxing vacation. Minimum 2 night stay is required to enjoy the property.

As beautiful the place is ... It is not maintained! The flooring makes it impossible to walk barefeet in own room... Dirt and filth..The fixture are not maintained which kill the buzz of the place... Not at all a 5star luxury

Frankly, a let down. Except for the excellent breakfast and courteous staff there is nothing to mention. The place is poorly maintained and has lost its old charm.

The place is good staff friendly, but its not worth the price charged for it. SPA was not operating this should have been mentioned in advance before booking.

Cleanliness is an issue. Paying almost 30k and finding unclean balcony and entrance with dirty linens, used plates, drinks, and cockroaches. Overall service, staff and food is good. Not worth the money you pay.

Loved the place. Best for staycation.. one cant get bored at all.. there are so many fun activities to do.. starting from animal farm which has amazing variety of animals starting from rabbits, different varieties of ducks (half of which I dont even remember names), guinea pig, Emu, goats and horses. Special tribute to Patel uncle for explaining all the history about the animals and taking care of needs of animals and visitors so efficiently single handedly.. one can also enjoy the peace near lake and watch sunrise. Its very serene. We booked a royal villa which was so perfect with fireplace and even had a private pool. Dinner buffet was amazing and do try steam fish with rice as it was so yummy. One can even enjoy cycling for 3 hrs and not even get tired of it or just enjoy horse riding or try fishing or dirty their hands at pottery or just simply relax beside swimming pool. You will find tremendous spots for photography. Overall my experience was amazing. Definitely looking forward to go back again.
