Absolutely trash school. theres nothing here no fun nothing. they ask unreasonable fees and in return give nothing. itd be a -5 stars if i could give it

Would give it a zero if i could, this school will base your whole personality on your grades. teachers here are extremely partial and judgemental, they wont bother about u if youre not good academically. you cant really explore your creative side here or basically any other side other than sports and grades. they dont value u as a person, the only thing they value here is how much you score. wouldnt recommend. made me depressed for majority of my life and made me feel like a loser.

This is the best CBSE school in Sohar. The academics, infrastructure, extra curricular activities are outstanding.

A very good school. It also allows competitive exams and has classes up to class 12. It has made a new building and is affiliated to the Central Board for Secondary Education, New Delhi, India. Teachers are very polite, gentle and cooperative. Teaching techniques are very good and the school is very clean. The students are very brilliant. I think this is the best school in the city.

I am giving one star because I cannot give zero stars in google review. I would NOT recommend that you put your child in this school.Speaking from my own experience here, which was not good at all. Indians in Sohar have no option and have to put their children in this school only if they want a CBSE school. This is very sad and the Indian School board must take some steps to remedy this.

I have done my schooling in this school for 10 years. The school has a best academic block with best facilities. The students are judged by their academic performance, so the main thing is just studies. The sports facilities are ok, no much of events for the students to participate. The teaching of school is fine, it depends on the teacher how they teach and treat the students. In this school students lack of outside knowledge and most of the students don’t socialise well enough. There is no much exposure to the students about how life is other than studies.Schools in Muscat like ISM(Indan School Muscat) is way better than ISS where they have the best education and students have lot of potential. The school has lots of events and sports activities compared to ISS.Students who live in Sohar have no other option, because sadly there is only one Indian school in Sohar.Other good school in Sohar is,”Sohar International School” in which students experience a good global learning.After my grade 9 I left ISS and went to India for my higher studies, over there I got an opportunity to learn how life is other than just academics. In my school in India, students learn about outside world and discover their talents along with studies. There are lots of opportunities for the students.Things which I couldn’t learn for 10 years, I have learnt it within 1 year in India. So we find Lot of differences.
