Its a great staff, but my credit card is being charged double for the week, and no one in the office has even tried to reach out , and I have made them aware of this, but no action on Management part! The room is great for price point, little coffee pot, and microwave, refrigerator in the room, and the water is pressured in the shower! Cleaning service is Excellent as well as Auditors! Best bang for your buck, quite and they have a pool!

From the staff to the rooms. It was perfect. After fighting with another hotel from 3 hours because they couldnt find out booking. Which they finally apparently found. They couldnt take my card and it was past 10 at night. We were exhausted. Called this hotel got us in our room in 5 minutes! Room could use a few updates, but this place was quick and easy and overall perfect. Thanks so much!

Let me start off by saying as soon as I approached the front desk the receptionist was on the phone with a friend (non work related) she looked me dead in my face and continued her conversation, not one did she greet me. About 2-3 minutes of the convo she finally got off the phone and said “ I’m guessing u my check in”... within an hour of my stay I saw about 4 roaches so I went to the front desk and asked to be switched to another room but at this time it was a different young lady at the desk. She was kind but uncaring. Not only that but the bathroom ma were very small. I will not be returning to this location, these rooms are old and needs a little renovation.

The stay over all was do-able. The beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly both the desk clerks and housekeeping. At check-in I asked for adjoining rooms but the clerk said she doesnt know which ones are adjoining; therefore I could ask the morning clerk to move us since she would be more knowledgeable which I just shook my head to myself wondering why she didnt call to ask someone, not to mention that would not be convenient after getting all our stuff into a room including a toddler and newborn in tow. According to my husband the breakfast was less than to be desired. There are not fridges or microwaves which is also inconvenient. The condition of the room wasnt exactly pleasing. Shower stalls only no tub, the bathroom door was a pocket door that did not latch or lock, we had to have maintenance fix the shower door so it would close and not get water all over the floor. The rooms were cramped feeling. This is an older building that seems to have some upgrades and fresh paint a few years ago. You can see mud patches and paint mess ups all over the walls. My son and daughter in laws room had something that looked like hair all over their curtains. I cannot explain it but the bathroom still needs something done to it. The price comparatively to other options in the area was the reason we chose this hotel although I cant exactly agree that the price matched the delivery.

I will start my review by saying that I drove all the way from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I only live 3 1/2 hours from this location, however I was so tired falling asleep at the wheel I decided to book a room for the night via Booking.com. At this exit there is a Shell station and Sleep Inn. As I walked in I asked the receptionist May I use your restroom? She looked at me in disgust, expressing negative verbal and physical attitude asking who I was and if I was a guest here. As tired as I was, I copied her attitude serving her with the same treatment. She did not like the character even though she failed to realize I mimicked her from the way she spoke to me ! I mentioned that I’m coming to check in overnight and then I need to use the restroom because the Shell station was closed. The receptionist proceeded to tell me that I could not use the restroom and also that she will not check me in until 3 PM the next day. Meanwhile in my mind, I have stayed at seven hotels through my journey across the country and checked in overnight at every single one of them with the stimulation of having to check out the same day as I basically checked in! I mentioned that to her and I said I know your hotel is not at full capacity because I counted the cars as I drove in there was only 15 cars in the parking lot. So I asked for another room at that moment, she refused to do so, and told me I’m not gonna give you a refund either for your other booking, that I needed to find another exit with a hotel! With a physical expression of pointing down the road and saying that way! I asked for the managers information so I can call her the following day, she did not want to give me the information. As that was happening an actual employee from dayshift who was staying at the hotel walked to the lobby and heard the tail end of our conversation. I did not know this until I called the following day and she spoke to me and apologized for this woman’s behavior. I was absolutely disgusted by the treatment that I received and I have driven so far, so exhausted falling asleep at the wheel that a hotel had an empty room yet to refused to serve me! I preceded by calling booking.com customer service hotline to ensure that my money did not go to this hotel! While I was waiting in the lobby at the table, a man pulled up through the awning and walked in looking around. I asked him if he was coming to check in, he said no I was coming to buy some bar of soap, as odd as that was I didn’t ask any questions about the soap. I told him that the lady behind the desk is refusing to give me a room even though they’re not at full capacity. When he left he told me he hopes my night gets better, as soon as he left the receptionist told me that I was not allowed to speak to anybody that came through the door because I was not a guess at this hotel, I told her I can speak to whoever, whenever I wanted to! He wasn’t even a guest at that hotel he was a random person that drove up to get some body soap! I told her she is not to tell me what to do, she then proceeded by saying that I was threatening her and called the sheriffs department on me. She told them that she asked me to leave several times and I refused to do so! Meanwhile, never once did she ask me to leave prior to the phone call! I did not move I did not get up I stayed on the phone with booking.com for my refund. I explained the entire situation with them as they were even appalled that this customer service and didn’t understand why I couldn’t I receive a room! Once I got my confirmation for a refund I left the hotel. The sheriff never showed up as I assume they didn’t care being the fact that I call them as soon as I left the hotel. As a traveler, I could only imagine the lawsuit I would’ve gotten if I would’ve really full on fell asleep at the wheel after this hotel corporation refused to give me a room knowing how far driven! This is despicable customer service!

The Sleep Inn in Slidell serves a great purpose for my family. It is about 3 minutes to my relatives. That is where great ends. The hotel is in serious need of repair. The headboard fell off the wall on my husband and I while we slept. There was a party of rambunctious young adults in the parking lot drinking heavily and playing music loudly. The bed was so hard that if the carpet wasnt so gross, it would have been a better, more comfortable option than the mattress. My daughter showed us blood on her pillow when we arrived. The bathroom was full of black mold and the shower door didnt even stay closed when in use. It was really awful - except location convenience, I wouldnt have even considered staying here... after this visit, I will not be back.

Quiet hotel with comfy beds. Rooms are small and outdated. Bathroom consisted of a sink in hotel room and a small room with a sliding door that had a toilet and shower with old worn out shower door - no room to move around. With towels that were extremely small, there was no privacy to change if I was sharing room with another. Florescent lighting used in rooms makes the room not as inviting and stark. Pool is unheated so if its cold out, dont expect to use it. Nothing close to the hotel at all except two gas stations and a Waffle House. Great access to I-10. Our first room smelled, had a noisy heater/AC unit and no mini fridge. We brought this up to manager and got a slightly better room. Thought I would save a few bucks and get a higher quality hotel outside of NOLA, with a bit of a drive, but if I had to do it all over again, I would just have stayed at the Super 8 in New Orleans. This hotel is 30+ minutes away from NO. Added one star due to manager moving us to better room, but I cant say I recommend this place unless you just needed to lay your head down for a single night as part of a long journey/road trip. I would not stay here again unless many improvements were made.

Always a great stay at the Slidell Sleep Inn. Terri and staff are a cut above excellent. They are very helpful, knowledgeable of the area and very welcoming. I particularly enjoyed my early morning conversations with Justin. Also, I want to congratulate Terri on her upcoming retirement at the end of the year and wish her well. Other than that, I like my home away from home every time I visit the area.

Bathroom was a split with the sink in the bedroom area and the toilet and shower stall in another room separated by a pocket door. The hotel seems to be an older hotel that has been well kept or one that has been renovated by Sleep Inn. Nice offerings at breakfast from prepackaged muffins and sweet treats, juice, coffee, milk. Ive traveled three weeks out of four all over more than 40 countries for nearly 40 years and this hotel ranks in my Top Five list. I had a condo across the street at that time and watched it being built. Have stayed there many times over the years.Nice clean rooms, well-appointed. Great full breakfasts. Big enough to be accommodating but small enough to have the feel of home.More important is the management and staff. Terry and Ron are good down-to-earth people who genuinely want their guests to have an enjoyable stay. They go way over and beyond in how they treat their guests and Terry infuses the staff with the same attitude.I recently suffered an accident that resulted in a smashed ankle. 59 days in the hospital. Came out in a wheel chair and walker. My place isnt very handicapped-friendly so I opted for the Sleep Inn. Ive been here more than a month now and will probably be here another month before I can walk again. Almost every day, I experience some unexpected kindness. If business or pleasure brings you to the Slidell/New Orleans area, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Clean, comfortable hotel outside New Orleans. Nice landscaping; nice pool. Breakfast had good coffee, waffles, eggs, sausage and yogurt, along with bread items. Small breakfast area, but offered an overflow meeting room. Close to a mall and restaurants. My daughter was competing at the National Beta Club Convention, and her room was paid for downtown during the convention; however, we came in a day early to sightsee. Much less expensive than hotels in downtown New Orleans. About a 20-25 minute drive to downtown. I would stay here again if ever came to New Orleans and had to pay for my own room.

A very welcoming place. The agents behind the counter gave me the distinct impression they were glad I was there and made several comments about me being a diamond member which alot of the hotels do not do. My room was clean and constable and a very nice two room suite in which I was able to get some business done in the living room Park and then had a nice comfortable evening rest in the bedroom. I dont often stay in this area but will definitely choose this hotel at which to stay the next time I do stay in this area.

We liked the convenience of our room to the parking lot and for my husband to go outside to smoke. We were close to good restaurants in the area and main roadways.

Nice clean fairly new hotel. Comfy beds and pillows. Only complaint was it was crowded and the breakfast sausage and eggs were a bit under cooked but I could have ate waffles or cereals. As busy as they were they should have had 5 or 6 more tables to eat at and a outdoor smoking area with a bench or table tucked away would have been great.
