The service was excellent and the location was very nice. The menu was quite limited but the quality of the food made up for it. The food smelled and tasted just like authentic Indian cuisine. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesnt have an issues with spicy food.

Update: Im downgrading my previous 5 star review for two reasons. 1. The service is bad even by Balkan standards. With 2 staff in the front of the house and 8 customers, a five-minute wait to get a menu is unacceptable. 2. Their new menu does not explain what the dish is. It simply names the dish. Explanations are a must. One excellent thing.... Someone from the back of the house came out to make sure I knew what I was ordering, which, given the circumstances, was welcome. And the food is really good.Im so happy to see an Indian restaurant in Skopje (again). The food is exceptional. I wish them success and will be back.

We wanted to try this restaurant which serves Indian cuisine for a long time, since my husband love this cuisine. It is located at the square, across Burger King. Once we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by this lovely lady and she told us to seat anywhere we like since there are only two tables occupied. She gave us the menu, however we noticed it wasnt a la carte it was by set/platter, when we asked for another menu she gave us the Mini Meals and From The Grill Menu. From the Indian Platter Menu theres two section, Vegetarian (worth $9, with 4 different options) and Non-Vegetarian (worth $11, with 5 different options). The Mini Meals has Non Vegetarian and Vegetarian dishes as well and you have a choice of Naan/Rice, worth $4.50 and $5.50 respectively). From the Grill Section, again have Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian which includes Mint Chutney and Pickled Onion.We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Mini Meal and chose Basmati Rice, Non-Vegetarian Platter Tandoori Platter (Chicken, Prawns & Beef) and of course we asked if we could have garlic naan as extras since its not included in the menu. My husband asked if they offer any spicy sauce so the lady who welcomed us, suggested that she will request the Chef to make our Chicken Tikka Masala spicier. And it was really spicy in a good way! The tandoori platter was also amazing and tasty and the Mint Chutney and Raita on the side didnt disappoint us! The garlic naan has really a strong taste which we really liked. For the two extra garlic naan it costs us $1. They also offer alcoholic drinks, coffee and smoothies. We must have really enjoyed the food that nothing was left from our plates and we even ordered extra basmati rice. I would like to commend the lady who welcomed and served us (I didnt get her name) for being so accommodating with all our requests and questions. Bonus points after asking how was the food, she even offered dessert which was unique little ice cream that was tasty and milky! Total of our bill including 1 local beer and 1 smoothie was $24.I highly recommend this restaurant! I just wish they will serve the infamous Chicken Biryani!

Amazing food! Finally, Skopje is getting its great Indian restaurant with authentic food and great service. We deserved it!

Im a huge fan of Indian cuisine, and Karma does a very good job of delivering the flavours and variety that I love. Every dish is nicely spiced and flavourful, without being hot. In fact, if I have to make a negative remark, its that I would prefer bolder spices to let the amazing tastes shine. The restaurant is very nicely appointed and attached to a hotel, so hopefully it gets the attention that it deserves. I will be a regular visitor.

Food was good. Portions pretty small. Price pretty high. It was cold inside during March...

After living in Asia for 10+ yrs, I knew I should not be expecting much, but our experience today was even worse than anticipated. An indian restaurant that cooks and sells beef instead of lamb?! It took over an hour to get the food, even though we were the only guests there. Nothing tasted as it should. Not even close. The restaurant had dirty floors, all in all an unpleasant experience, I will not go back and dont recommend it, at all!

My husband and I have been to Karma multiple times, and have never had the bad experiences some guests are reporting here. Karma is the only close to authentic Indian cuisine in Skopje, and they do a creditable job in approximating the spices of Indian cuisine. If you enjoy Indian food, it is totally worth a try. Sylvi

Unbelievable. Absolutely amazing food + great service. Met Paritosh, the owner, and love his vision for the restaurant. Hands down the best non-Macedonian food in Skopje.

After months of craving curry, Karma was a great find! Very nice and filling thali, good use of spices and not oily at all (which is in my experience quite often the case). Would definitely go back here. Only thing that I missed, was a lassi, but the restaurant only opened 2 weeks ago, so maybe in time!

In the Indian restaurant I was the first time. Five dishes were available for two. Potatoes and seafood.I did not feel it. The rush was cold and the big scam was lost between the bowls, it was not good to grab. The main meal in the white mind was quite delicious, but the other things came to me tasteless, tasteless. with potato puree was quite tasty.The waiter was very similar to the Indian, and she tried, but still forgot about something.Nice environment, card payment possible.In India, Im a lady, maybe you will like it.
