The students got a chance to study the various steps and procedures involved in milk Pasteurization and making of various milk products.The students were provided with a guide from the industry who introduced them to the various departments of the plant. The welcome session was arranged in which the history of the Katraj Dairy was explained through a video. Principle and working of the boiler was explained and demonstrated by the Expert. Then the refrigeration and chilling plant was shown in which ammonia was used as a refrigerant for chilling purpose. Pasteurization and homogenization was also shown.With the exposure to the dairy industry, students also enjoyed the ice-cream in the premises of Katraj Dairy
