Enjoyed our dinner and drinks at this roof-top bar. Amazing collection of drinks in this sky bar. But the shocker is that the food here is delicious too! Proof that you can enjoy your drinks with great food here. Met Edison the bar supervisor who deserves a mention. Edison is knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your wonderful recommendations.
Came because of the great reviews and the cool IG worthy rooftop location. Overall experience as a place to chill is at best mediocre. Food and drinks were average though the 8pm HH is fantastic. Would have given at least a 4 star if not for the cold (not cool) attitude of the server taking orders and the irritating need to keep my credit card “to have a running tab”. In these days of online scams, not cool at all.
The place does have its own moments. A low height roof top bar in the middle of a concrete jungle does sound interesting n it actually was. The menu is quite basic for a bar and has a few vegetarian options. The place is quite costly but I really didnt see the value for all that money. The drinks were very basic and not that different. All in all the place is worth the visit but definitely not worth the money.
Cool bar with a good vibe. Highly recommend.* Most of the seating is on high stools with no backs so look super uncomfortable, luckily we were at a table.* Booking needed as super busy.* Cocktails were REALLY great.* Service friendly but slow to begin with.* Food platter surprisingly good and great to share. Chilli crab lattice fries were great.* no fans and all outdoors so very hotOnly reason I didn’t give five stars is that last cocktail orders were at 21.20!!!! 1 hour and 10 minute before the 22.30 drinks curfew. Then last orders for all other drinks 21.40! Far too early and meant we had finished our drinks before 22.00. Such a shame and ruined the end of the night. I can understand early last drinks if the cocktails were slow to arrive, but they were very fast and much quicker (& tastier) than other bars. Will definitely come back for happy hour as loved the cocktails.
Loof has a particularly lovely ambience on evenings when it doesnt rain. Amazing rooftop place to chill. Usual drinks and they have some tasty and different starters. They have happy hour prices on drinks on Fridays. Not a lot of variety in food. Perfect place to hang out with friends after hectic week of wishing.
Amazing environment for a roof-top bar! The food is decently good but the drinks didnt have much kick to it, felt like it was a mocktail, instead of a cocktail.
5/5 stars for Loof and hospitality. Service were great and we were really impressed. The restaurant is also gorgeously decorated with a stunning view, neon light are pretty at night! Loved the chill experience here and would be back. Great cocktails and Great Happy Hour price too. Limited food options but is a great place for just drinks and snack on. Their chilli crab waffle fries is a must try!All in all, we enjoyed our time at Loof and will recommend it to anyone :)
Loof is a rooftop bar with an incredible view. It can be tricky to find as there is no immediate street entrance. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. They are known for their weekday happy hour which is $5++ wine and beer 5-6, $6++ 6-7, $7++ 7-8 and $8++ 8-9. I am yet to find a better deal on alcohol in Singapore. What left me disappointed was how sweet every cocktail was. I found all of the ones out group tried were sickly sweet and syrupy. I had many I liked the sound of but unfortunately cocktail after cocktail was too sweet.
Enjoyed my time with my friend at this roof top bar. Shout out to Shakti and Nicole. They are very proactive, friendly and welcoming. The other staff there are very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending their menu. Overall, it was a superb experience there 😊
Love the vibe and food here! A good place for dating and a casual meet up with your bff.
Came for the Happy Hour Drinks. From left to right (image with 3 drinks)Set B, Frose, Firecracker.Understandably, at SGD 12 each, there was little alcohol in each drink, but when focusing on it taste-wise I think they are pretty successful in delivering the idea.Location was exceptionally great. For the Set B, I felt that the vodka was a bit out-of-place in the drink. The other two were did not taste off in their categories (Frose was refreshing, Firecracker was spicy).Floor was evidently understaffed but somehow managed to serve so many tables reasonably fast. Thus it was quite impressive for this aspect. They should also put more drinks on happy hour.Overall great experience.
风和日丽 indeed - appreciate the kind gestures by both Edison and Chris in making my group feel welcomed!Made a reservation for 6:30pm (the reservation was till 7:45pm) and were seated by the bar counter. Requested for a change of seats twice but not quite sure why the host could not accommodate despite the numerous empty seats available (time check 7:15pm).Seating aside, cocktails and tapas were great. Would revisit.
This place is on level 3 so the view isnt fabulous. It wasnt windy enough so I know I will smell of BBQ once I leave the place.Quite a long list of drinks but mostly cocktails and liqueur. Prices are on the higher side, so not recommended for those who are on a budget. Food variety is limited. Mostly fries and skewers.Ordered Whiskey on the rock, Eagle Rare 10 yrs, $15++, and an Italian beer in a bottle, Peroni, $14++. My first time trying both drinks. Peroni doesnt taste like beer, easy to drink, will get a kick if you empty the bottle within 5 min. Eagle Rare 10 yrs was ok, not impressive.Crispy chicken satay, 4 sticks for $16++, tastes good with the sour honey mustard tasty sauce (actually no idea what is the sauce since it not states in the menu). 7/10 for taste and price. The Lemongrass Prawn Skewers, 3 skewers for $17++, is average although it is good that they are served without shell as minced prawn meat. Food is 6/10 for taste and price. They dont accept cash now. So bring along your cards. My damage for the evening is S$73 for 2 drinks and 2 food item. Not a place that I will pick in future for a night out for the price and experience. Probably over rated online but I guess I wont know unless I am there. Pretty pricey for the drinks and food choice is limited, although location is conveniently located near Cityhall mrt. Not a place that I would go to again as it isnt unique enough to justify for the price.
Lovely ambience and excellent customer service. We were impressed by the bar supervisor, Edisons friendly and sincere disposition. - Dinah and Gerald
Unpretentious and cool place to hangout after work with colleagues or clients. Need to rsvp on Fridays and Saturdays to avoid disappointment. Happy hours drinks are crowd magnet, value for money especially during tis covid season. We ordered cheeseburger yakitori which is a tad too salty, not too hot when served.. Other than that its a cool place to hangout.
Vibes was lovely (as always over the years), a wide variety of drinks (my friends and I enjoyed the ones recommended from the waiter), the side (Korean fries) was savoury and it was finished before we realised it.Been to Loof a few times over the years but this was the first time I was asked to put a $100 deposit for a reservation of 4 pax. Also our booking was at 9pm but once we arrived, our orders were rushed and we were told its the last order. (Personally I think that if it was already last order at 9pm then they should not make that reservation timing available, and make the latest booking timing at 8.30pm instead of rushing customers).Worth a visit but the customer service from previous years were better.
An amazing and tranquil retreat from the city below. Alcohol is generally very expensive in Singapore, but if you manage to access their happy hours, youll find reduced costs on a few staple items.
I love Loof! Such a nice space to have drinks with friends. Service is quite quick and friendly. The cocktails are interesting and delicious, but the best part were the waffle fries. The rest of the menu is also good, but the fries. 💯 Also, if you’re early - I don’t know a place with better happy hour deals than Loof.
Great ambience and great service from all but one dude (Faizal). Me and my husband go there almost weekly and we have noticed that this one particular guy working there is always in a sullen state of mind. Other than Faizal’s always-in-an-irritable state, everyone else seems to be very cheery and nice.
One of the staff, named Gilbert if Im not wrong, was superb and really took good care of me and my friends! It was my birthday and he brought out extra stuff for us and was really friendly as well! A great example to the staff at Loof :)
Enjoyed my dinner/drinking sesh at Loof. Amazing food especially their fries with chilli crab sauce OOOFF! Also, great service from Shakti and Nicole! Shakti was friendly, helpful and quick! 💯💯💯
Good vibes, open air with decent coolness.Platter is good for 2 at about $50. Couple it with happy hours from 5-8pm averaging about $10, you are all set. Pretty friendly for the wallets. Go for the cushion or high tables. Reservations recommended. 风和日立 and im glad you came! Cheers!
A bit over price but the ambident is nice
The bar at the roof top is impressive. What impressed me is the wall decor at the bar with its blueish colour and the liquors lined up. The staffs are attentive and service is very good. They set up a round table standing bar for us while waiting for available table. We didn’t have to wait long before we were given a table. The happy hour is from 5 to 8 pm. Unlike the drink menu, the food menu is limited with mostly fried food comprises of fried fries/chips, skewers and burgers.
Nice place to chill and have a drink with friends. Can get quite hot and humid as its open air. Food was interesting - the platter to share was great with a sizable serving for the 6 of us. The chilli crab dip and tuna skewers were yummy. Wasn’t a fan of the burgers though.Alcohol wise - the bubble teas were refreshing. With pops of alcohol enclosed in the bubble jelly. Uncle Tee Kee was nice too, refreshing! Didn’t like honey, dew you like whiskey, odd aftertaste.
We visited this bar at 6pm on a Thursday and even though we didn’t have a reservation the helpful concierge still managed to find us a seat at back of the bar, overlooking Raffles Hotel, which given the view seemed to us to be the best seats in the house. We visited in happy hour so the drinks were moderately priced and the beer was cold and the wine was good enough, what more could you need to enjoy the excellent vistas of the Singapore skyline? For those who haven’t been before, the entrance is slightly hidden down the side of the Odeon building. Look for the sign, it sticks out from the building side about 8feet up. Wander into the foyer and head up to the 3rd floor.
Went for the 4-6pm all-you-can-drink January promotion. The promotion was definitely worth it at $28+, and the ambience of the place was great. However, service was unbearably slow despite having only 2 occupied tables in the whole place, which put a real damper on our mood. Overall, quite an enjoyable experience, but could use better service.
Sunday afternoon (5pm), theyd just opened for the day. Breezy, chill atmosphere, was not crowded. Interesting drinks, pricey but standard for the city area. Better cocktails were the Uncle Tee Kee ($21) - in the tiki-ian cup - and Man Go, Going Gone - for people who like fruity yet not too light flavours. The Little Pink Dot (in the light bulb) was also Little in size; Froze was too light although some people enjoy that. The Korean crisscross fries (~$12) were enjoyable and worth the snacking.
First time here and it was a great experience. Especially from customer service perspective. I ordered sweet potato fries but didn’t realize the mayo dip would be on top. When the order arrived, I started removing the dip and the staff member (Marcus) saw me struggle and offered to replace the with plain sweet potatoes fries with dip on the side. Now, that’s customer service and doesn’t happen very often in Singapore. I was pleasantly surprised. Besides that, the fries were great and they have really good happy hour. I will be back. Thanks Marcus for doing a great job!
Had one of the best espresso martini in Singapore that was made by bartender Chris. Would definitely come back again for more
Very good ambience and great alcohol ~ didnt get a chance to try the bites. One of the good espresso martini. Light and the coffee they use seems to have a light refreshing taste. Overall, a good place to hangout with friends, lover and family.
The venue is nice, especially for afterworks. They did improve the service a lot within the last 2 years. Good food too. However, overall, the menu is overpriced - wine bottles are ridiculously expensive compared to their quality and retail price and 17++ for a sandwich without any side is absurd. I wouldnt go outside of happy hour and during weekends (it was super quiet on a Saturday night)
Chris and Edison were extremely professional and served us our drinks within a few minutes of us placing our orders. I was particularly impressed by their hosting abilities, friendliness and drink making showmanship.
Ambiance: 4/5 on a cool evening. Full outdoors. Probably very hot and uncomfortable if it didnt rain earlier.Drinks: 3/5. Happy hour drinks werent good but quite affordable.Service: 1/5. Very rude and curt staff. Staff wasnt interested to explain menu or questions to us. Didnt seem like a reservation helped with getting seats.
Worst experience ever had. Make reservations one week ago and only request to have outdoor seat. When reached there, the waiter arranged the sofa seat which found alot of ants there. When I requested to change seat due to the ants, the waiters informed cant change as the rest of seat had been reserved although some of the seat never show the reservation tag also. We are just only 2 ppl and easily to adjust the allocation but the waiter giving us such a ridiculous reason.Really spoil my Saturday mood.
First time here and definitely won’t be my last! Happy hour deals are great and staffs are very very friendly and accommodating! Edison is an awesome bartender and kept us engaged as and when he can! Overall I would really recommend this place for a good time to chill and enjoy their cocktails and food menu! Excellent job team Loof! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Props to Edison for introducing interesting drinks to us! Enjoyed Gummibeary the most woohoo!!
Cool decor nice chill out place.I like the creativity in the cocktails. A little mild tasting but I think it fits the general audience :)
Boba cocktail is a special drink to go with here.Singapore sling was originated from Raffles Hotel just opposite to this bar, so the Singapore sling they provided here is also very authentic.
Nice chill out place with some nice local fusion food.
Great place and the staff were so friendly
Umami fries and Uncle Tee Kee go super well together, a great hang out place in the town. Reservations will be recommended to avoid disappointment. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Thumbs up for the wonderful experience!
Have been visiting Loof for almost a decade now. Plenty of good reasons for that - great service, cheekily-named food and drinks (that are delicious too), and chill vibes. Props to Kish and Eddie behind the bar for always keeping me well hydrated! Wishing the team the very best for 2021 - kudos for keeping your spirits up during a challenging year!
Roof top bar with a tinge of local flavor. Even the menu looks like the traditional Chinese calendar. Chili crab fries is a must-try. Their cocktail variety is also interesting and we ordered this coconut flavored drink served with a small piece of pandan leaf.
A rooftop bar. Good ambience. One of nice places to chill out around City Hall, Bugis area. Good selection of cocktail.
Open air bar a few floors up overlooking Raffles with MBS in the background. The bar snacks they serve are interesting and really tasty. They work well with the cocktails which, while not very strong, are always delicious too! Most of the staff are awesome here but a couple aren’t so friendly. Overall, a great little bar for a casual drink.
Easy to find location. But only on 3rd flr. So didnt feel like a rooftop bar. Happy hours white wine is bland
Drinks are ex after happy hour ends but their impossible ramly burger is good!
Great place to chillax! Wide range of cocktail and mocktail
Chill ambience, great music and drink!
LOVE the vibes heree, definitely a great place for drinks with friends 🍻
Good view, happy hour 5~8
Great service from Shakti. Loof had great atmosphere, drinks, food and the best service from all of Singapore!
Nice ambience and scenery
A conveniently located roof top bar that’s good for pre or post dinner drinks with the eateries around. They have some interesting cocktails too.
Centrally located and a perfect rooftop bar to chill on evenings. I tried the vegetarian burger- which was good. More food options would have been better.
I really like this chill vibe terrace, but guys...WATER! I’ve been here a few of times with friends, spending a considerable amount on drinks and food, but was still obliged to buy small bottles of expensive water. Please, please make an effort and provide tap water to your customers. Covid is not an excuse, every restaurant in SG does this. Thank you!
A great surprise to find at the roof top. The place is airy and cosy with partial city view. Service is excellent and staff are attentive. The quick bites we had were BCM sandwich and mushrooms skewers, yummy.
Nice food and environment. Love the seating arrangement, feel so relax and chill. The staff is friendly, good service and reasonable price for food and drinks. Will definitely visit again next time.
The place is pretty with interesting drinks. We had their firecracker which is spicy and had an afterkick to it.
I love it. Good vibes, nice people, “speak easy” bar with an interesting setting. It is a rooftop but it is not a rooftop... third level only, enough not to hear street noise but no view.Food and drinks were average... especially the drinks were watered down with little alchool (such a disgrace since you pay 20++ for a drink)... but the place is lovely.Very local bar, not many foreigners.
One of the rare places that has survived throughout the years as a favourite after work venue. Despite the success, the staff is still super welcoming, funny and makes you feel comfortable at all times.
Great food but drinks are quite expensive
Total hipster bar to visit after work. Had some really great and creative drinks ... Even got to order off the menu. The food is yummy too - I liked the korean waffle fries and the wings. Yum! Awesome views too and all on a rooftop. #winning
Great ambience! And 20% off with UOB cards!
This place is great with music and drinks. Lots of young people hung out. Worth a visit . And it usually very packed
My new favourite spot! Shakti was amazing! 10/10
