Excellent fresh sushi and sashimi, and the tempora prawns melt in your mouth.

I always order from this sushi place, but every time I am still amazed by the quality of the food and how tasty they are. The flamed salmon is my favorite. And all other sushi and sashimi are very fresh and tasty. I love this place

The sushi at Tanoshii are really tasty and fresh, every time I ate there, I have really enjoyed it!

I love Tanoshii. The sushi is excellent, and the service wonderful. Shout out to the super friendly staff, both at the restaurant and the delivery! I eat here regularly, and I have found no single spot in town that gets close to what you get here.

I moved to Europe 2 years ago from Vancouver, Canada, and this was the BEST sushi I have had in Europe, hands down! So fresh and so authentic. The staff were very friendly, and although it is definitely more of a takeout place, the server made sure we had a lovely experience even with the limited seating that is there. Would absolutely recommend walking a little further away from the center to this hidden gem!

Best takeout Sushi in the Jordaan by far! Fresh, fresh, fresh! It is hard to find this kind of precision and quality in Amsterdam. Grateful they exist!

5 stars for both food and service. Very fresh, well made and tasty sushi, which is harder to find in Amsterdam than it should be! This is head and shoulders above other places that offer takeaway. The delivery came significantly faster than the estimate and my special instructions to the delivery driver were circled on the receipt and followed exactly. This is my new go-to!

This place is great. I came about 6 times already. Best sushi in town and the price is good; however, they closed way to often. In December they went on vacation, begging of February vacation again. And today it is closed again but no sign as to why.

It is fast, it is made freshly in front of your face and its really delicious and the prices are made quite fair. What can you ask more?This is why I think its worth a try and those 5 stars👍

Quite okay sushi, ordered online and everything looked good and arrived perfectly at time. Only thing is that the sushi wasnt precisely what it normally looks like. California rolls are normally fully covered with orange fish eggs and the sushi rice was still a little warm while that normally should be a lot colder.Definitely not the best sushi in town but if you like sushi and you live nearby then its a great place for take away sushi!

Sushi is quite average. The rice was a little warm and I found the dragon rolls a bit tricky to eat because the fish was draped over the top of the roll.There are better sushi places in the area but they only open mid to late afternoon so this is the best lunch option for sushi in the neighbourhood.

Very generous serving of salmon sashimi. Volcano roll is great. Very worth the money.

The food here is always incredibly fresh and the sushi chefs are very friendly. I’ve been to a few other sushi places in the area, but Tanoshi is the only one I keep consistently going back to. I love the salmon nigiri and the rainbow roll. The fish is always plump and flavorful.There are a few places to sit inside (maybe 3 or 4?), so this is more of a pick up and take home kind of place.

Did not know this was a take out place when we chose it, but they set up 4 chairs for us and we had the best sushi ever.

Rather excellent sushi place all made fresh by the Japanese owners. Although the sushi is perfect its also the most expensive takeaway sushi I ever seen.

We were traveling around Amsterdam and after eating something in a cafe, we were still hungry. Walking, we came across this little sushi that works mainly for takeaway but that still has some seats inside. We ordered basic sushi but the size of the pieces and the quality of the fish, in relation to the price, is excellent! Needless to say, we returned the following evening. Surely, if I had to go back to Amsterdam, it would be a sure stop.
