Food is very nice and reasonable. However, sometimes encountered long queue. Overall, highly recommended for vegetarian food lovers.
Delicious and affordable vegetarian food right in the heart of Hougang. Service staff are polite and efficient. They have an online ordering system that allows you to order for takeaway, delivery and dine-in.Place is always crowded so be prepared to share tables with other customers.Their 锅贴 is amazing. Skin is thin and lightly pan-fried with generous portions of vegetable stuffing.
Love their olive fried rice n cereal tofu
Extremely crowded during peak hours, not air-conditioned (in case you mind) but have enough fans to ventilate. The speed of serving was super fast, serving is huge and food was absolutely delicious. The xiao long bao and hotplate beancurd were on the salty side, we had to eat it with rice. Other dishes were almost perfect 👍 kuey teow had good wok hey.
Good vegetarian, no fus no frill.
Good vegetarian food. Have patronized many times. Recommended
Size of food portion is good.Need to improve how those in/out safe entry sensors are installed. It is confusing.
Good, fabulously tastyfood.Cozy ambience a plus.Pity spce constraint restricted seating capacity.
Tasty and affordable vegetarian food. The hor fun had good wok hei and the gong bao chicken was really flavourful
Food are so so. DO NOT order during 1st and 15th day of lunar calendar month. They cannot fulfil order and still keep taking in orders. Ordered grabfood self pickup at 515pm. Reached to collect at 545pm, app says ready for collection at 555pm. Checked my order and was to told wait 1 MORE HOUR cos havent start cooking! Total waste of time. If cannot fulfil order then suspend your online order taking platform! Many ppl are as frustrated as me at the outlet right now. Esp the delivery platform guys.
I havent been to this place for quite some time. Pleasant surprise to see that theres aircon. Was a bit apprehensive that prices would increase but no, its still reasonable. Can get noodles at less than $5. The siew mai is quite good. Lots of filling & can eat everything without worrying abt the fatty meat. Place ur order at the counter, pay, then wait for food to be served. Condiments such as chili are available at the counter, self service. Opens at 8.30am.
One of the best vegetarian restaurant my wife and i have tried.Ordered the sweet and sour pork rice, samba Petai fried rice, hotplate beancurd and also the Luo han Zai. All of it taste good and the one highly recommended will the sweet and sour pork as its crunchy and fresh.Really thumbs up!Will definitely return for more!
Decent neighborhood family resto.U can pick what u want for your Mala Xiang Guo or niang doufu. And they also have an offer of Indian Rojak now.Our fave dish here is the ever humble fried guotie. Superb!
Tried Hokkien Mee there, the portion was rather generous. However, I still managed to finish everything because it was pretty delicious. Would go back again!
Every dish was simply yummylicious. Was really satisfied with the quality of the meal. The chef came out to take a breather and proudly proclaimed that he cooked one of the dishes. I gave him a thumbs up and said your fried rice is solid. Got wok hey. Definitely dropping by the next time Im in the area.
Absolutely love the curry ramen.
Great food. Great Service!
Im a patron of this place for more than 13 years and that would show how much I enjoyed visiting this place until today. Todays experience was very bitter and will blame it on the staff who simply dont know how to handle customers and manage expectations. Unjustified increase in the price of food (apparently a CNY levy) and without any prior information just add it to the bill. Understandable if the increase is a fixed 5 or 10% across all items but this one was crazy. There was a 50% extra for a dish and 20% for another. Even if they could have explained us through this properly, it may have been okay but the rudeness, my god. They simply asked if wed like to cancel and did so without any consideration even after we suggested them to handle this better in the future and while some.of the food was already prepared and being served to our table. For the efforts the management puts to build such a brand, staff like these destroy in just one interaction.
Not nice at all. I think hawker vegetarian stall better than them.
Affordable and tastes super yummy good. Place was really crowded but I had a takeout so no problem. Couldnt finish all the dishes. Kept and ate next day morning, still awesome good. Not a vegetarian here, so yup this places food is truly divine.
Great good, great price, great service, the Uncle was Super friendly, they have a very organised system, small little shop and yet they sell prata, mee rombus, and vegetarian bee Hoon, thou their menu changes slightly Everyday but generally most of their food taste great! I tot the yong tau fu was really interesting. We order 3 ingredients per plate for 2 plates and a yong tau fu for just $9!
Best veg food.
Located in a residential neighborhood, this place operates as a restaurant, serving only vegetarian dishes.Their main, is the Niang Toufu. Besides, they also have Nasi Lemak and Kweh Chup.Seating is limited as it is located under HDB.Tasted their Nasi Lemak, the rice is good, but too big a serving, with little dishes.
Be prepared to wait during peak hour. The vegetarian food really taste like the real meat save except on the texture of the mock meat. Value for money too.
Super good mushroom lamian
Love the rojak and roti prata
Love their fried guo tie (dumpling), mala xiang guo (stir fry vege), steamed siu mai, roti prata, fish soup & olive fried rice 🤤😋👍🏼BUT... just sad that every 1st & 15th lunar I try to avoid going this restaurant due to crowd and long wait (more than 30-45min to serve the foods/for takeaway). They have to serve dine in customers + walk in for take away customers + foodpanda/grabfood orders.
Delicious food...ohsom...good service especially the aunt in the cashier very smily face and kind... Love it
Good food. Enough parking space. There are healthy food choices.
Worth trying, but try to avoid peak timing as seats are limited
Food was good. Would have been more palatable if they get the place a little more organized. I used to see and hear pan-mian making but not anymore. This activity could have been relocated. The pan-mian still tastes the same but they are less generous with the ingredients. My favorite is the huo tieh. Will be back for their prata next.
Just order cooked dishes with rice. Order Cereal Tofu, Mei Cai Kuo Rou (Preserved Veg with Pork), and a stir fry vegetables.Dont bother with the noodles, and yong tau fu.. They are all carbs.Indian Rojak cannot make it.18 OCT. The owner opened another branch at jalan kayu. This current location does not serve order dishes anymore as residents complained to HDB.
Not sure if the food is vegetarian or not... no description in menu but restaurant name says vegetarian... be careful with order specially if you are vegetarian...
Love the handmade noodles here! The 煮炒 is good too
We had mee rebus, kueh chap and a few handpicked soy based fritters. The mee rebus gravy had a sweet aftertaste, sent my MSG tastebuds alarm bells ringing. The garnishes were very generous. The kueh chap broth was bland and lacked the caramelised herbal fragrance. The handpicked soy based fried fritters were decadent. Overall, the tastes leaves alot of room for improvements compared to the wokfried dishes but meal was hearty nonetheless.
Nice vegetarian dishes!!!
Taste like home cook meal. Suit my taste
My usual go to place for vegetarian. If you are a curry lover, do try their vegetarian curry fish head.
Love the roti prata and curry...
Decently priced vegetarian food. It has a huge variety of dishes made from mock meat and mushrooms as well.Would strongly recommend their curry noodles, mala xiang guo, and Indian rojak for a delicious, albeit, not a too healthy meal. The place is also usually packed in lunch and dinner hours, so be sure to head there early!
Waited more than 40minutes for the food ordered. Late comers’ foods were served so I tried to check if they missed out my order but no one attended to me. Bad service
The food is not bad, but the service is average. Dont go on 初一十五,as the queue is terribe.
Slow service, its just a small restaurant, please review your management.
Value for money...great ramen. Tell them to reduce oil for dishes
A very good vegetarian restaurant. Tried Assam fish, fish soup, hokkien mee, monkey head mushroom broccoli and all dishes are so good! Recommend!
Wah so good.. the vegetables got wok hei taste
Good variety of vegetarian food. yummy, flavourful and affordable
Simple and good vegetarian dishes..
Cheap and good vegetarian food. With lots of choices, some not so common at other vegetarian places.
Always gd for veg meal!!
Nice food but not nice sit!
This place i went but not to eat just to collect food because i was doing delivery. I have not taste their food but the place is cool and nice to relax
Poor online delivery service. Urge all not to use their delivery service. No coordination and communication between delivery man and restaurant.
Though there has been a change of menu (and management perhaps), some of the specialities were retained, and I would say that the China-styled lamian here is definitely one of the better ones in Singapore, and the guotie (pan fried dumplings) and shaomai (steam pork/shrimp dumplings) are very good too! The other dishes here are the standard menu items of the parent company Zi Zai Zhai
Good veg chinese food.
Nice food with very reasonable price especially soup of the day- lotus roots, black beans with some ingredients in soup. Also try their Indian rojak.always eat their half pan fried dumpling that cannot missed to eat with ginger and black vinegar..Will be back again.
Food was good, but when we ordered in, the French fries melted the styrofoam.
Great Vegetarian food. Its a bit expensive but worth e price. I like their soup of the day :)
A Zi Zai Zhai restaurant with a lacto-vegetarian menu, but it stands out for their dim sum dishes retained from the previous restaurant management - I especially love the Shan Dong stuffed pancake, gyoza, and siew mai. The fried carrot cake is delicious too, and generously steeped in sweet and umami flavours from the black soy sauce and chye poh (preserved radish). Theyve also recently introduced a vegetarian Indian rojak counter, which I look forward to trying one day.
Very nice vegetarian dishes. Creative cooking.
Affordable and delicious vegetarian food. my family comes here for vegetarian cuisines all the time. the restaurant is a little small though, so may have to queue a bit when its crowded or during peak periods.
Damn next level food
Good food
Not bad
Many varieties worth visiting
Breakfast here was affordable and good.
The prata quality/type have changed, it’s no longer crispy, the curry is like the regular fish curry, spicy. The original curry use to be non-spicy and has some small vegetarian bean curd in the curry. Now the prata is the soft and soggy type ..Very disappointing...Don’t think I will visit them again for the prata...
One of the rare tasty vegetarian food 😋
