Most beautiful place for treaking

Amazing place to view Kanchanjangha.You should stay a night here and see the view of Kanchanjangha at earli morning. If you coming from Sandakphu then coming after 10:00 AM is not good get a satisfactory view of Kanchanjangha.

Beautiful place along your trekking route. Enjoy the view and breadth taking sunrise on a clear fog less day.Accommodation is very very basic. GTA Phalut has 2 common toilets only, whereas the wildlife accommodation has attached toilets for small groups upto 6 persons.

Phalut top is the view point between the India-Nepal border. From here, Mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world, can be seen in a wonderful way. As one of the monsters is standing in front of someone.

Nice place with nearer view of the peak Kanchanjangha. Not good for fooding & lodging.

Phalut is the highest himalayan range of darjaling (3636 m; 11,930 ft) is a mountain peak in the Singalila Ridge on the border between India and Nepal. It is the highest point of the ridge and the state of West Bengal, India. The peak is located at the edge of the Singalila National Park and has a small village on the summit with a few hotels. Four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit. It also affords a pristine view of the entire Kangchenjunga Range.

Falut from Sandakfu is about 21 km After 14 km there is a stop named Saberagam. phalut is the end of world . every thing is there snow, wind, sun, fog everything. you may stay there. there is a hotel cum dormitory , person charge 500 rupee in hotel , if you take sleeping bag you will be charge extra 50 rupee. there is kitchen with limited food. noodles per cup 60 rupee, tea 50 rupee, full meal 150-200 rupee. from manavajan to sandakphu-phalut you will hire a jeep for 2 days 1 night 7500-8000 rupee for 1 to 8 people including drivers allowance/fooding/lodging. dont miss it .

Beautiful place and view

The best place in the Sandakphu-Phalut trekking route, as it allows to take the closest look at the Sleeping Buddha (Mt. Kanchenjunga). Also when the skys clear you can even witness the four of worlds top 5 peaks (viz. Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Lhotse I and Mt. Makalu) and the the three sisters.

Wonderful view of Kanchenjunga and Everest. Only two places for night stay. GTA trekkers hut and forrest department trekkers hut. This is a elll known trek route. Also accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicles, available from Manebhanjan, Darjeeling district, West Bengal, India.

Its an awesome palce. Most nearest to Kanchonjongha. If luck favors you will habe a fabulous view of Kanchonjongha, Everest and other mountains in that same belt. I loved it.

Phalut is another top view point of mount Everest and others peak.From Sandakphu to phalut is only 19km far away.

Start walking as early as possible if you wanna go to phalut. A great place to see the unbelievable view of Kanchenjunga range. If weather is clear, you can get the best view od your life, like what we get. Weather is always unpredictable. So dont be sad if it is full of fog. Theres only one place for staying, thats GTA Hut. Youve to book it previously. Place looks really spooky and hunted but trust me theres no problem at all. Always carry extra candles because electricity is unavailable. But you gonna enjoy the place. For best view, go up to the next mountain, also known as viewpoint. Straight go up in the early morning and enjoy the breathtaking views. You gonna love it, trust me.

Best place to have the spectacular view of worlds highest peaks. But the road is not at all good for riding. Best for trekking. Once in a lifetime experience.❣️

Beautiful place

If you can manage to visit Sandakphu and then take the trouble to walk down the last 6kms then this place is worth a visit. Stunning landscape and then Kanchanjangha. Planning of clouds along your side and cold air just pass your ear.

Let me give you the reasons you give 5 star rating.1. Virgin place and you wont find any place to eat anything2. View of Kanchenjunga and Everest in clear sky is best to enjoy3. A trekkers hut is there for rest4. So many horses are there to enhance you experience5. Indian army at arms length to support if any mishapNote: travel to this place by car is good choice but very rarely they agrees to go there. If you like drive then 4 wheel drive is must required.

Phalut is much better and peaceful than sandakphu and it should not be missed if you are trekking in this region. You may search why phalut is more beautiful than sandakphu on the Google and decide on the best plan for yourself

Phalut is that place where we can see wonderful and gorgeous view of Kumbakarna and Kanchanjunga Mountain. It lies in east india from Nepal. So guys lets visit this place & promote it.

Very good place for trekkers .one can even go by 4wd car specially run there for visitors. Morning and evening views are awesome .

Not only the cynic beauty but also the lonesome valley and of course Mt. Kanchenzongda allow you to feel a glimpse of eternal beauty and peace. We are very much thankful to nature for what we had seen. It was a one time experience.

Best place to treck

It was too cold when I visited here, but it is awesome place for Trekking in West Bengal.

This is the best place I have ever seen.you will see 180 degree view in each and every side of this place.

Life time experience. Not only the Majestic view of the peaks but the entire surrounding is so wonderfully different that one can never forget. The whole way from sandakphu to phalut is mystic... full of green wavy meadows, mist, yak...

Beautiful place in West Bengal..

The most beautiful hill station of West Bengal. And its a ultimate destination of trekkers in West Bengal. This place is fantabulous, marvelous. From the top view point of Phalut anybody can get crystal clear view of Kanchenjunga and can see the Everest also. There is only one dormitory type Govt. trekkers hut available. So before staying at night never forget to book your bed from any GTA Office (Gorkha Territorial Administration). In Kolkata the booking is available only from Gorkha Bhavan, Salt Lake (Located opposite of City Centre 1). Reaching on the top of Phalut by vehicle is bit tough. Only Vegetarian meal and egg available here. A trekking jungle route is available from Phalut to Gorkhey. Electricity is not available here. Please carry extra battery for camera. Charging mobile and camera battery is not possible.

No words to describe the beauty,It is not like sandanfu all are Valley , and most of the time in jan feb it is covered with cloud, road is not comfortable , aged people or women may not be effort the jerks in land rover.If young guys plan to trekk thik route it is awsome, 21 km from sandakfu
