Location:-If you are thinking that college is in Indore or near to Indore city, then you are totally wrong. In the name of Indore you will get Simrol village which comes under Mhow Tehsil. Simrol is 20–22 km away from Indore city, which takes around 1–1.5 hrs of bus journey. As you will step out Of the campus you will the whole village and small Simrol market. Almost everyone regret for the location.Rules and regulations:-This is worst in case of IIT Indore. There are very strict rules for each and everything. There are very high fines on everything. Ex if you lost your room keys you will be fined with 2000 RS. If you paste a paper on hostel walls you will be fined 1000 RS. Every decision is handled by the administration. No involvement of Students in anything. From last two years Gymkhana elections get cancelled. As an individual you will not be able to grow.Mess and cafeteria price:-IIT indore has one of the most expensive mess system. They charge 150 Rs for a day which is quite expensive and the quality is not also good. There are 2–3 cafeterias in college , which are also quite expensive.Placement:-If you are from CSE,EE then you are in safe zone, Mechanical placement is not good. Civil and metallurgical batch havent passed out yet.Hostels:-IIT indore has one of the best hostels in India among all IITs. Dont just join the college in sake of better hostels. Quora is full of IIT Indore hostel photo and every other JEE aspirant get trapped in that.

I had attended an ethical hacking workshop here organised by WAC & managed by FLUXUS IIT Indore and i must say it was great experience.. workshop was nice.. food was delicious..I made some new friends .. some of the building is in under construction now and will be complete after some time ..I m not an IIT Indore institutes students but i felt good at here.. world class infrastructure with highly educated faculty .. and the reason behind that because its an INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.. I visited three times. Firstly 2016 writing test for Deputy Manager post and interview for the same. Finally missed the job. Third time I visited exam for another Deputy Manager post. Clean and big campus in the Khandwa Road. Campus is for away in the city. Outer person some times feel not good.

I came here and stayed for one week... Everything is except washroom is whole IIT indore.... Washrooms are all western style...such unhygienic washroom..... If such a high grade institution can not recognize that few washrooms should be in INDIAN 🇮🇳 style toilet then who will recognize . Indian style washrooms are more hygienic ... But IITian do not know this.. ..The western style washrooms are dirty just after one use... I always found few drops of urine on toilet seat . No one cleans...
Professors of Electrical department are highly qualified and with an excellent research experience. Research facilities are really good. Best for PhD.
Well,This is new IIT among all and face many problem after establishment but now conditions are good and also earn good name and other facilities provided by them which makes it awesome in these years.PROS:-(1)Almost 500 acres of beautiful college.(2)Faculties are awesome and always cooperative.(3)Best hostel in all IITs due to provide clean and hygenic room with lots of facilities.(4)Central Worshop is too good.(5)Situated 10km away from main city Indore so that to go out for walk and explore new things.(6)College life awesome with lots of things to learn and enjpy them.(7)Fluxus fest are awesome cant be forgottable.(8)Sports facilities are very good especially when to participle in inter cricket tournament.(9)Mess Food are too good.(10)Full time of wifi access with high speed internet but with some restrictions.CONS:-(1)Some buildings are yet to be constructed.(2)Transport facilities should be better...At last I would tell that come and enjoy college life with your interested branch, learn and explore much more from your side!!!

IIT Indore is known as IITI Institute which secured first rank in 2018 among all IIT is in the field of research and has achieved second rank between all colleges in India. A great college in Madhya Pradesh situated near simrol village on Khandwa road Indore. The research of this college is very good . the faculty staff and students are hardworking. the campus is grooving fastest among all new and other IIT which started at the same time of IIT Indore.IIT Indore is not again is identity of growth it is second name of invention IIT Indore is doing a great job for all the students who came here to get a bright future in the life want to make their dreams true.It is not a big thing that after 10 years at Indore will be in the first rank among all IIT.The hostels of IITI is much better than other colleges. And after one year all the hostels will be ready with complete facilities.As time will pass IITI will might achieve the greatest place and that day is not too far.

Im a undergraduate CSE student here, and I must say the infrastructure and research facilities here are good. Although the student strength here is less as this is young institute, there are many events going on here and campus is very lively, especially during Fluxus.
The Road in Front of IIT Indore Campus is full of Trucks 24 hours. It is a highly accident prone area for Villagers as well as student. I dont know how government has approved that road for heavy vehicles. I went there for one day and I saw 6 accident in just 5 hours. Although IIT campus is a good Place for students. It has good environment too.There is no direct bus run by government from Indore Railway station to simrol so as to reach IIT. Even if you want to book ola or uber they consider iit in different district and the fare they show is 1900 Rs for mini car. So, one need to contact local auto person at indore railway station to reach IIT. Private bus operator provide a very bad service. Most of the accidents on khandwa road in front of iit are done by Private Buses (no speed limit for them. No proper lights on the road in night) and Heavy trucks....IIT Indore, Simrol Campus should contact the local District magistrate or any other Government person to divert the route of Heavy vehicles. It is to be noted that the road is a two lane road not four or 6 or 8 lane. It is really a serious issue beacuse they have allowed heavy vehicles on the two lane road and that too in front of educational institute.IIT campus good. It is a newly formed IIT and most of the buildings are under construction.
