I only got off the bus there but it was a pleasant experience. I looked around a short distance, bought some flowers and caught a Toto rickshaw. Yes its very busy.I tried to return there in the evening and was told there was a meeting, a Muslim festival or something, and the roads would be fully jammed so I didnt go again

This traffic point is one of the important junction exactly in the central point of Siliguri Metropolitan Hill Cart Road meets Bidhan Road forming an important traffic junction.The Traffic controll dept is the most badly managed dept of this metropolitan.The D.C Traffic post is there but the functioning is most poor.There is no Stop marking on the road at crossing points. The white zebra marking is almost faint and traffic stands on this when red light signal is shinning.Thereby the crossing point becomes over crowded with cars etc.The traffic island in the crossing isfaulty and there is no administration to look into it.
