Excellent, easy & quick.Liked · The free shuttle is easy to find at Narita airport, its quick & direct unlike some of the other airport hotels. The staff are lovely to check in with, quick & held my big snowboard bag in the lobby storage overnight saving me taking it upstairs. The hotel is a little older than others in the area but this reflects in the price & is fine for a one night in which the beds are super comfy.Disliked · Arrived into T1 which they do pick ups from T1 & T2 but not T3 which I needed to return to the next morning. Its not that of a big deal to walk from T2 or take a bus but a little annoying there isnt T3 included

Probably one of the few hotels that have big rooms for larger groups. Regular shuttle bus services between the hotel and Narita Airport. Although rather near the airport, not that much jet noise. Self-service laundrette and gym are available at the basement level. No, hot-spring, however. Moreover, there is a small restaurant at the basement garden apart from the main coffee house. Convenience shop is also available with rather affordable prices and the nearest 7-11 is a rather short walk along the narrow roads.

1 night stay over here. First impression is an old hotel interior. More spacious room with bigger size twin bed, convenience store located in lobby level. Overall not bad.

Im not sure why the negative reviews because this is great value while laying over in Narita. I booked online through Agoda for $46.85! I still cant believe that rate. Excellent value at this price point. The free shuttle times are clearly posted. Definitely take the free shuttle to mall. They have some excellent restaurants. Best of all is the huge bathroom and soaking tub. The shower is even adjustable which is almost unheard of in Japan.

Inexpensive and clean Hotel close to Narita airport Tokyo with a complementary shuttle bus to Terminal 1 and 2. The staff spoke good English and were friendly they did a very good job of making you feel welcome on arrival. There is a small shop on the ground floor with a limited range of take out food such as Sushi as well as other local food.The shop also sell beer and wine soft drinks and of cause green tea. I will stay here again when on a 1 night onward flight connection. Single room rate was at the time ¥7000/day checkout 11.00hrs

Lovely OLD hotel. The lobby and other common areas are gorgeous with staircase and chandeliers. The staff is fantastic. Top notch even by Japanese HIGH standards. A very convenient convenience store right in the lobby and also a microwave for guest use.Huge free airport shuttle bus runs about hourly each way.The rooms are large and roomy. Not the typical Japanese room where you have to go outside just to change your mind! Every possible room amenities are included. Large HDTV and fast free Wi-Fi make for an enjoyable stay.

Very quiet room, very well soundproofed. Comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly. Spacious room, good desk for working on, nice view. I liked the convenience store on the reception level, as well as the vending machines and luggage scale.It wasnt clear before arrival that there is a shuttle from JR Narita. I couldve caught the shuttle instead of a taxi.

Polite service as anyone would expect while in Japan. Good price from being close to the airport. Room is pretty comfy and not too small. Smaller than US hotel rooms, but good enough for Japanese standards. The loss of one star is because the bed mattress is hard. Maybe its a Japanese thing, but its only really comfortable to lie on my back. If I lie on your sides, my shoulders would hurt.

Very convenient hotel. It provides the auto-food machine, some souvenier shops, and gym room which is free to access if you stay there. The price is reasonable and some of the hotel staffs are able to understand some English which is good for foreigners knew limited Nihongo( Japanese language) who will be staying in there. Buffet style breakfast, which is including Japanese food ans western food. Can consider it if you just wanna staying around Narita area because it is quite nearby Narita airport as well.

Very nice hotel with Western style rooms. There is a shuttle bus from Narita international airport. Or into Narita city.The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Large with twin or queen sized beds. Refrigerator, big screen television, desk and free WiFi. Hot amenities were a buffet restaurant and a Italian restaurant outside the Koi pond,. Also had a workout gym and conference rooms. This was a good hotel close to Narita airport but far from Tokyo city center. The staff was very nice and friendly. Helpful to any questions you may have. I would love to stay here again and explore more of Narita.

Booked our room from a website. When we arrived and checked in we were very pleased with our room. It was even nicer than it looked on the website. All of the staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. The Italian restaurant at the hotel had delicious food, great drinks, wonderful atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and service was outstanding. We ate there twice and was only there two days! The bus shuttle system made it very easy to get around and even to get back and forth from the airport. When I go back I would stay again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Narita.

Very affordable but not anything special. Slightly run down hotel without large towels or hand soap. Acceptable breakfast with a lot of options but not enough chairs and tables to accommodate everyone. WiFi worked on my mobile but refused to connect on my laptop. Very hard beds but excellent AC. Free shuttle to and from Narita airport but only until 10 pm at night. Ok rooms in general but could have been cleaner since there was a lot of dust in the corners, some stains on the walls and dirty windows.

Nice, quite and clean hotel. It is close to the airport. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service from and to the airport. However it is impossible to walk to the airport or to a convenience store around, because there is no pedestrian walk. However there is a small shop located inside, which is opend until 23 oclock. Also the reception sells some fix soup.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Also provided with all necessary utilities and amenities. They have a free Airport Shuttle.

Room is big, value for money. However, the cleanliness of the room needs to improve especially the toilet bowl, found disgusting stains on it, looks dirty. Plus point of the hotel is the free shuttle service to Narita Airport and Aeon Mall.

The room are slightly old and slightly less clean that they should be. The price is not too bad but it is possible to find cheaper and better places. No need to stay away, but you can very likely do better. Convenient shuttle bus to the airport. The onsite restaurants are again, not terrible, but rather expensive for the quality they offer. No children allowed in one of them. It is possible to take the shuttle bus to a mall with more eating options.

Maid left our door open. Nothing was stolen, but still. When we came back at the end of the day, the door was left open. You could just push on it and you could get in. Unacceptable. Room was kind of clean, still dust, and mould on the shower curtain. We asked them to switch it, and they just flipped it the other way, like we would not notice. Would not recommend.

Easy to get to from the airport (free shuttle). Nice clean rooms and good service. They also have vending machines on many floors, a 24 hour gym, and a convenience store open until midnight.

Terrible WiFi connection.Not so helpful receptionists. I asked them how to get to the 7-Eleven based on their provided map, they told me just follow it. They did not explain to me where was the pedestrian lane on the map so I couldnt get there by foot.No ATM machine.The AC was bad.

Good professional services provided by receptionists. Everyones English is very good. I didnt have any trouble communicating with staff.They have a free shuttle bus that pick up and drop off people from the bus station to hotel, and hotel to airport.The room here at this hotel is finally up to some standard. Beds are bigger than a lot of other hotels in the city. The hotel is modern and resembles of lot of western chain hotels like holiday Inn.The only downside is that the hotel is far from the train station.

It was a Value for money, for me and my family’s stay. No complaints so far. Some suggestions I may write here though. Hotel doesn’t provide water bottles on a complementary basis. Secondly the breakfast spread is descent but could be better.Here is the best part. Transport is readily available to/from NRT airport, and additionally to the Aeon Mall.The hotel backyard is really beautiful. Try the Italian restaurant at the ground floor backyard.

Clean and nice rooms at reasonable price. Shuttles to airport and city available, makes it easy for 1st time tourists. I enjoyed my stay. Rates are cheaper online than at the door... Bear in mind... Haha

When your customer tries to explain to you:- There was only the morning flight available.- Your guest is (really) sick.- Suffering from severe lack of sleep & points at black eyes.- You definitely have a room judging from the empty lounge Ive been waiting in for 3+ hours.- It does not take 5 hours to clean 1 room.You dont smile & chant like a robot:3pm check-in only.Sorry. House rules.Go to the welcome lounge.Please put yourself in the customers shoes as my experience and mood was immediately ruined as soon as I talked to the first staff member.Might I add your hotel is nowhere near civilization and requires a car/bus to get anywhere. You expect a sick person to wait on your dated couch for 5 hours because Sorry, house rules :)I can swear he ignored everything I said.The left side of my head has now gone numb in pain due to infection. 1 hour 30 minutes more before I can drop all my luggage, then wait for the bus, then travel to the city, and find a doctor.Wipe that smile off your face and show some human compassion.

Hotel rooms are very old dirty as it has been over used by Chinese groups. But the breakfast quantity and quality of this hotel is considerable good the distance from airport is quite near but the best part that there are free shuttle buses from hotel to shopping mall where daiso shop every item @108 yen is there and also free bus to city and to the airport apart from the room everything is very good of this Hotel.

Not ideally located. If you stay here, be prepared to stay put in the hotel itself. Shuttle times are spread out, and journey to the nearest shopping center takes time as it will also pass by other hotels. No other establishments nearby. I give it a 3 star all because the front desk people are helpful, and the room size are more than enough for the price.

Very convenient to Narita Airpot, Narita railway station and the Aeon shopping centre via free shuttle. When you book they give you the terminal and bus stop numbers at the airport, so its easy to find. The reception staff are very helpful.Unfortunately the room we were given had a bed that was as hard as a rock which made sleeping difficult and resulted in sore backs for both of us. The air-conditioning was quite ineffective for the first 2 days and then too cold on the third. Couldn’t wait to move on to our next destination.

Decent hotel, complimentary airport shuttle (check hotels www). It is good place to stay after your late night arrival to Japan or early morning departure. It provides all the services you need. The small shop is very handy and they have there surprisingly wide selection of helpful items for emergency luggage situation (not enough space, broken, or extra cover necessary), like bags with wheels, tape, etc. To get the best price search through online portals, you can get 40-50% cheaper than in hotel.

After researching the website for Narita Gateway Hotel and discovering they allow pets my husband decided to call and book a room for my pet and I. Upon calling he asked if they spoke English and the gentleman on the phone said yes. Then when my husband asked the gentleman about pets he said they dont allow pets. So my husband thanked the guy and hung up. He then looked to make sure that he called the right hotel. He in fact did. So he called back to let they guy know that it was stated on the website that they do allow pets. The guy then stated that they were all booked. I pointed out that we have not yet stated a date so how can they be all booked. My husband repeated this to the guy and the guy on the phone then started to get upset with my husband. I travel to Tokyo often and so does my husband. We know when there is a difference in a communication barrier and when there is a lack of respect for your customers. Once the man on the phone started getting ugly my husband ended the call. If you do not allow pets then update your website. It is not rocket science it is advertising. And when someone calls to let you know that a website can have misleading information on it take it as a nice gesture.

Had great potential, and beautiful lobby but was just lipstick on a pig.First room still had rubbish inside and sheets hadnt been changed. (The staff were really nice about it though) second room had a bed so hard that I slept on the carpet instead.Mould throughout bathroom because fan didnt work and not all of the very limited power outlets worked.The dinner buffet was 2400 yen per person and was very average, we thought to give it a go because of the pictures they had everywhere, however barely 2 out of 10 items in the pictures were actually there.Same with breakfast, the pancakes and scrambled eggs were the only thing from the picture actually available.We did find the shuttle service ran on time and was really handy, the staff were nice and they had a nice lounge area downstairs to wait in after checking out.

Looks good in photos but its a really old hotel. If you compare it with the other hotels in Japan (we stayed at Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto and Hiroshima), it feels like coming back to the stone ages. No high tech toilets, climate control is analog, and our room still had a telephone plug point!Theres also no stores nearby. Theres a convenience store on 2F, but its not as good as Family Mart, 7-Eleven or Lawson. The nearest convenience store is 700 m away inside Hotel Mystays.The wifi was also not getting connected in our room.Otherwise the staff is very polite as is usual anywhere in Japan.My major gripe with this hotel though, is that the shuttle timings and pickup points are not communicated on the website. We even tried calling up the hotel but the person who answered didnt speak much English and we didnt get the correct information, which caused us to lose more than an hour of our precious vacation in boarding the shuttle from the airport when we were already at JRT Narita station (they have a pickup point there as well).Overall its good for a nights stay if you have an early morning flight from NRT (our situation).

The hotel is clean however dated, if you are looking for something modern then go elsewhere but for our purpose it was excellent. The last night in Tokyo we booked here due to the proximity to the airport. The free airport shuttle to and from the airport is excellent and efficient. We took the subway from central Tokyo to the airport and the took the shuttle to the hotel. The next morning to make our early flight we took the shuttle to the airport. Its about a 15minute ride to the airport. The staff were very friendly and there is a shop on the premises selling everything you would need even Tokyo souvenirs at a reasonable price. There is a dominos pizza that does deliveries as we arrived at the hotel around 10:30pm we needed to eat and staff were very helpful in calling dominos and ordering our pizza and within 30 minutes we were eating. They also had a scale in the lobby so we could pack our bags and weigh it properly before our next flight.The shuttle pick up is located at bus stop 26 at terminal 2-3 check the hotel website for the time schedule.

15-20 mins from the airport, shuttle runs every 30 mins the last one @11pm, do check with the hotel staff if you want to confirm, they do support in English. Rooms are various sizes but what I had was a single bed room on the 10 floor with morning ⛅ view which was great. Staff is friendly.

It is so close to the airport, and the rate is very comparatively low. Room is about the same as the narita excel. Of course it offers the same free shuttle to the airport and narita JR station as well as the aeon mall. Cant go wrong with the hotel with the price.
