A humble request to you all if you can please help us.. Pledge from a father (Soumik Banerjee) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻I have lost my daughter and I know I will not get her back. I have tried everything for her better treatment on Dr Prince Parekhs recommendation i took Saeesha to kolkata in the first flight available. She was just suffering from fever and vomitting tendency. In her blood report infection was detected? Potassium was down but they didn’t even do the dengue test but however Dr Prince recommended us to take to Kolkata or Delhi so that she can get the best treatment just in case if the infection spreads , she can get the best treatment. Dr prince recommended to get her admitted in Bhagirathi Neotia in Newtown under Dr Shamik Ghosh, later we came to know that he is a on call doctor to the nursing home. We got her admitted as suggested. She herself walked and entered the emergency section. Even she opened her own sandal and kept somewhere on shoe stand with her own hand. On 16th around 7:30 doctor said that she is having some breathing problem and blood may be required and I was asked to stay back and the hospital. Around 9:30 when I asked the ICU whether blood is required they informed me that doctor said that her palettes count is alright and blood is not require , no tests need to be done and asked me to go home. If blood was required they said they have blood. Around 3am I received a call from Devika who was at hospital that night , she said that hospital have told that Saeesha needs blood urgently. I rushed to the hospital (3:25)and went to see Saeesha in PICU. She was talking then and was saying the RMO and the nurses that she is having some problems with the oxygen mask. The RMO requested me to call her mom to counsel her a bit to CO-operate with them. I went downstairs and called Devika. Within 5 mins when we came up they didn’t allow debika to get in saying that she is having respiratory issues. They described that if the palette count comes down the blood gets thinner and internal bleeding may happen. So I asked them have to started to give her blood? And where are the doctors. They said they have send a requisition for blood and it is on its way. (They didn’t have blood in stock)that both the doctors , Dr Shamik Ghosh and Dr Somnath Goroi is unavailable. I kept on asking have to started to give her blood and they kept on saying it is on the way. With time Saeesha’s health started to detoriate as they were unable to give blood. Around 4:25 am saesha lost her sense and bleeding started. Both the doctors were not there even after 2:30 hrs of her detoriation. Present RMO had minimal idea it seemed and they put saessha in life support system. Dr Somnath arrived after that around 4:50 am but by that time she started bleeding from her mouth and ears. We kept on asking where is the blood they kept in saying it is on the way. I asked that if they knew blood was required why didn’t they have it in stock before or why didn’t they ask us to arrange. She has the most common blood group B+ which is easily available. Why did they say me that they have blood arranged and asked us not to worry. The blood arrived around 5:15 am but by that time I have already lost my only daughter. Dr Shamik Ghosh whom Dr Prince recommended arrived around 5:45am just to inform us that they couldn’t Same my daughter. How could Dr Prince recommend such a doctor who is not even a doctor of the nursing home Dr Prince recommended. We were told Dr Prince that they are child care specialist and have all kind of backup. My father asked him if we can get her admitted in Bellview or AMRI in Kolkata but he said they don’t have peadiatric ICU. He also said that we may not get bed as well in Bellview and we have to unnecessarily move around in Kolkata to get her admitted. Dr Prince had a word with Dr Shamik Ghosh and arranged everything .
