The history of this temple is of great significance in hindu religion. One must visit this place.The temple is located at a good height. We were allowed to take our vehicle till the temple, else would need to climb stairs. View from the top is amazing.

Big Temple complex with several deities to worship. Like a hill top.. and a nice view of the Greenery from up.Beware of steps, they are steep and high. and monkeys are there..!Dont forget to watch a parrot sitting above the oldest banyan tree .. which is believed to bring good luck !😀

The fact that the First Bhagwad was read over here 5000 is inspiring.The tree under which it was read is huge, the temple is build around the tree.A holy place to visit while in Haridwar.We all read 10th chapter of Bhagwad over there with Vishnu Sahastranam, felt like we were blessed by god in the form of few flowers and leaves that showered upon us when there was 0 wind and no monkeys on the tree. 🙏🙏

Ver calm and peaceful. This is the place where Shukdev narrated the Bhagavatam to Parikshit. The 5100 year old vata vriksha, which was witness to that event, still stands strong, here.

For all the travellers and explorers, Shukratal is definitely a place to visit. The touch of Ganges and the tranquility of the place will soothe you, but staying under the 5000 year old tree and reading some history will give you an experience for life.Just 2 hours from Haridwar, take a detour from Muzaffarnagar and explore this road less travelled.

Good management in temple premises.Ample free parking space.Awesome view of 1000years old tree.Peace of mind place.Priests are really very nice they are not greedy at all.Eatery points are not upto the mark.Shukratal lake is very dirty.Overall experience was good.
