Im a localite of this beautiful place Karwar. Karwar is a coastal town. The beach is also known as Rabindranath Tagore Beach or Karwar Beach. It is early accessible, its 0.5 kms from Karwar Bus Stand.This place has a Beautiful Sunset. Yu can rest on the sands and watch the sun setting into The Arabian Sea. Best place to invest time in.The beach is usually kept clean and is crowded at weekends.The beach has got Rock Garden, War Ship Museum and a place for children to play.Never miss the delicious chats. You wud surely love it. If yu want a fancy place to eat, dont worry we have got Ajive Hotel along side the beach.Enjoy the sunset view at this place.

I got down to this station on my visit to Gokarna.. Karwar railway station is very neat and clean. One thing i have noticed that stations are very neat and clean.. Very well maintained.. I couldnt clicked more photos to support my claims.. We tried the chai on the station, it was full big glass.. Two persons can finish one chai.. I liked the cleanliness. You can find share auto to reach to the Karwar Bus station. And you can find buses to gokarna from there..Like my review if it has helped.

The railway station is about 6 to 7 kms away from the city.The station itself is not that big but sufficises as per the population of city. It is well maintained and has separate way for heavy luggages without any steps.It has restroom facility and a small canteen like any other,there are only two platform and three tracks

One of the most beautiful railways stations is surrounded by trees and is very scenic especially during the rains. The road till the railway station is also very beautiful with fields and mountains to be seen. Do note it is a little far from the main city but there are rickshaws available at the station.

Gokarn road station is clean.. Many dustbins are there.... Lot of benches to sit and relax on the station... Toilet are clean too.. One can go from Gokarna bus stand area to Gokarna road station by bus 10 rupees per person... One can experience Village area feeling here.. Domestic animals around.. Bumpy roads..

Its isolated not as crowded as goa However beaches are good if you like peace with wave of sea and just you with talking to nature karwar is the best place to nature lover even you can go for island tour and Mahadev temple also near by however you have to plan a full day for exploring the Mahadev temple in karwar food option are limited, you can spent your evening at nearest border of goa the great palolim beach evening are great even noise n silent party every saturday is awesome

This railway station falls on the main Konkan Railway route with beautiful scenery around.

For a district head quarter like Karwar the station is maintained very badly. More than passengers there will be stray dogs on the platform. It used to be much better earlier. But in recent days has become worse. The station master should take care of such a new station very well. I really wonder how the performance of railway employees is measured. Or whether its even measured in the first place. Try to go Just in time for your train so that you dont end up spending more time on the station.

Karwar Railway station is one of the most beautiful stations of Country. Scenic beauty is marvelous and staff members of the stations are worthy of commendation. Those persons who are commuting from Karwar railway station, I must say that they are most fortunate one. Earlier the plat farm no.2 did not have shade but now with the erection of shed at plat farm no.2, the protection of passengers from rain is available and beauty of the station is also enhanced. Its such a peaceful station. I loved it 👌

Well maintained station on Konkan railway, staff is courteous. Only two platforms, have sufficient seating arrangement. Passenger information is updated well on notice board. Station has only south Indian food available. Auto rickshaws are available 24*7 at very reasonable fares. Almost every train halts here except Duranto. Only thing is , one have to climb upstairs to reach at platform. Waiting room, toilets are well maintained. Indian Railways must learn from Konkan Railways!

One of the prominent stations on Konkan Railway. It has halt for most of the trains except Duranto. Karwar city is 9kms away from station. Autos are available 24 hrs. During day city bus facility is available. It has all passenger amenities. Reservations counter is open from 08:00 to 14:00 hrs. Konkan Railway regional office of Karwar division is just out side the station.
