Super deluxe and delux is same in this hotel.We booked super delux for day 1 and on 2nd day we booked delux and all the rooms were exact same.Hotel was ok. Staff was good. Room was small.

Food quality was good, specially chilli chicken....Cleanliness is reasonable for price and benefits are opposite of the lift and on the mall road. Thats quite good. Working staffs were very cooperative and friendly to customers

Located in the center of the Mall road,Shimla. If you have budget constraints then you may opt for it as prices are comparatively cheap.

One more thing, hot water isnt working properly and after using 5 minutes, it stops and normal cold water is coming out. Terrible for customer! The worst thing that made me miserable was lack of room heater at one the coolest area in India, Shimla. I asked the hotel counter about issue and that cost Rs 300 per night that they replied me. My view was hot water and room heaters were essential things in Himachal region at January and they should initally add these charges to hotel payment. Otherwise, customers might be in trouble in night time and say goodbye with inconvenience. Anyway, hotel samarat is average level and suitable for short stay at shimla because of location. I gave 3 stars honestly.

Location of the hotel is awesome. It is in middle of Mall road, just opposite of the LIFT. To go sightsceen or other location, you need to use this lift. You can enjoy the late evening (after dinner also) as you are in the Mall road.Room and bathroom are clean. Every rooms are with common tarrace. Foods are also good and reasonable price as compared to mall road other restaurant. Room service are good.Main concern is the room and bathroom size are very small. So may you will not enjoy in the room. The building is old and hotel furniture are also old.

Only thing I liked here is food which you order comes within 20 minutes.Rooms are very small and dirty.Heater service is not included in room, youll be paying for it saperately at rate of ₹300 per day.God helps you in cold if your heater gets malfunctioned at night as they say they dont have service at night and they turn off telephone line at night.Pathetic experience here.

As its located on the main road itself so location wise its very good & even their rooms & services are just fab. I even had my meals over there which were just delicious. It was an amazing stay of mine.

It is a budget hotel. Staff is good. Ive not faced any problem regarding electricity and water as well. It was comfortable stay.. Best part of this hotel is that it is located near the Ridge. Rooms are clean but basic amenities wasnt provided to us though.

I checked in to this hotel on 16th June 2018 and checked out on 17th. This property is located on Mall road just in front of the lift. Neat and clean. Tasty food. But room size is small. Not suitable for family with kids. Only suitable for couple or solo travellers.

The hotel is not same as described on goibibo site. It was mentioned that hotel is 2 star but the hotel doesn’t seems to be single star. Bathroom is not functional, it’s having pot issues too. Room was not cleaned at all. the worst part is staff is not corporative and not resolving the issues and not have sense how to talk with customers. it’s a zero star hotel.

Nice place as it is in mall road.... One problem is that if you want to go down you have to take a lift... Cost is ₹10 person person..... Or else you have to go walking through a long route.... Good view from the hotel... There is a market nearby... So you can take your goods...

Very bad experience...room was small, furniture was old and drawers were broken. Cabinet was filled with quilts and no place to hang your clothes.On top of that geyser was not working.Intercom is putoff in the night till 7:30am with no intimation to the guests.Only positive thing is..food is good and staff are also good but you need a instrument to call which is off in the night.Not worth the money paid.Very bad experience

Excellent place to stay in shimla. The best part is its location. Since the hotel is located just opposite the Lift on the mall road thus people arriving shimla by train can just hire a local taxi from shimla railway station to the Lift originating point on cart road and then climb upto mall road using the lift service. No need to walk at all.

(1) Be sure to check with hotel for the floor on which they are going to offer you a room.... As we were given room on 4th floor and there was no lift so it was hectic....................(2) Service is also ok...(3) we were chareged eXtra for eXtra bed but the bed quality was very worst. there was imbalance in the levels . When we asked about this we got the reply that it is from sofa-cum-bed thats why like this.. see the attached photo (4).The hotel is located opp The Lift which is why it is having gr8 advantage of prime location... (5) and also for sight seeing we had booked whole taXi for 3 of us for a day from the hotel for Kufri which hotel people charged rs ... but their commission is hafty ....so book taXi from near the The Lift area where one would get at around rs 700........

It was a horrible stay, staff was not at all cooperative. Cleanliness was not there. Lift was not there. Overall it was very very bad experience.

There is other better options, one of the worst hotel i stayed during my traveling in india. They couldnt provide us higienic paper. Bad shower, not much water. We paid for a horrible chocolate we wanted at bedtime, they didnt gave us a spoon. Wifi in rooms. Guy check-in was very nice with us.

Hotel is nice. Dont go by the location shown on the website. The hotel is near Indira Gandhi indoor stadium which is far away from the Ridge. Not recommended for people who cant walk much, but on the other side you have to walk a lot if you have to enjoy in Shimla. Room size is really small even though I booked the Super Deluxe rooms. Apart from that the hotel staff was really nice and helpful. Service was quick. Food was above average. Wifi never worked. Washroom was clean. All in all its an old hotel so cant match with new hotels that are more far off from the Mall Road and the Ridge. I had a mixed experience and can say it was more on the positive side.

We booked Super Deluxe room in this hotel through ***** Firstly, looking at the hotel and rooms the booked price was too high. Secondly, looking at the room it looks like a small hit with smelly rooms. By no stretch of imagination it was super Deluxe room. This hotel has number of monkeys may be they are the permanent guest of the hotel. If you by mistake leave the doors and window open of your room then there is every possibility that the monkeys will enter your room. Food is pathetic and those who are serving food in the room are the cooks also. Dont know the manager******is standing on the reception as he never helps you when you have any problem. He always replies that he cant help you and his bosses will come in evening and only then your grievance will be heard. Funny atmosphere and looks like they are have opened this hotel only to extort money. Those people who book this hotel *********** will have to suffer most as the management gives them most worst rooms for the reasons that the customer has already paid for his booking. This hotel has open balcony on the first floor and in the evening you will see that few people (to whom hotel claims as guest) starts drinking alcohol in open and when you will object about this to the hotel management they will reply Sir they are hotel Guest and they cant do anything. So my suggestion is never book this hotel.
