Nice hotel. Feel like you are in old Era. Very courteous staff. It doesnt belong to Oyo property. Try to book royal Suite... Its worth it. Mall road is Walkin from this hotel.

Good spacious rooms with balcony. Great view from the balcony as the hotel is a little over the hill. So that is to be taken care of as every time u come in & out the hotel we need to go up the hill 2-3 mins walk. It has a nice restaurant and good food. Staff service is really good. Overall a great hotel but yes rates are not too less. We were charged 5.5- 6k per room per night.

Experience with staff quite best. Best part of hotel is it is situated near to mall they have separate way to reach mall road. You need to travel sliding upside for mall road which is cannot easy to walk for old age and stouty persons.

Haunted house scary things happened with us .they gave us room in the basement . The hotel owner was arrogant rude and disrespectful to us and please don’t visit there and when scary things happened we wanted to leave the hotel as anyone would and we had the right to leave because we paid the hotel rent in advanced

Most important thing in Shimla is car parking . This hotel provide safe and sufficient parking place .

It is situated on the circular road near petrol pump in Shimla. It is a good hotel with big room size. Cleanliness is ok. Restaurant is good. Food is tasty. Service is ok. Staff is friendly. There is very good view from the hotel. Rates are variable acording to occupancy and rush season. All types of amenities are available in the rooms. Lobby is spacious and tastefully decorated. One can spend good time in the hotel..

Hotel Pineview is located on the circular road just above the Anup filling station. The property is very nicely maintained with big sized rooms and good view from most of the rooms. There is also ample parking space inside the property. Its less than 15 minutes of walk to the ridge/mallThe rooms and linen were clean and staff was very polite and helpful. Food was also quite good.Apart from everything else the Host was a very good and helpful person.

The staff before even checking the booking told us they have no booking for us, because I booked two rooms for two nights and only me and my spouse arrived not parents. They upgraded us hence to a bigger room as I paid for four room nights. While my package was CP as soon as I went for breakfast the rude staff told me I can order only one dish from menu, wondering why someone will pay Rs.500/- difference just for omlet. I paid the staff a huge tip just to make them realise it’s not about being free but a service towards a package which includes things. Poor quality heater given in room and one could barely survive. The staff at reception made up for it and other staffs were humble too but not worth it.

A budget hotel located close to Shimla railway station and Mall road in Shimla. It offers a restaurant as well as a dining room. The rooms are small having basic amenities like double bed, bathroom, TV, balcony etc. Some rooms have a circular bed. The reception desk is small and the lobby is big. The lobby had a fireplace before renovation. After renovation, the fireplace has been removed and extra sofas and windows have been installed. The hotel service was good. The rates were somewhat reasonable. This hotel is ideal for an overnight stay or a two day stay for families, couples, backpackers as well as friends when in Shimla. Overall, had an overnight stay at this hotel in Shimla.

Stayed here for two days and the hotel was quite comfy. The management is quite flexible regarding the booking and we were able to get a room late night without a hitch. Theere is free wifi available for all guests and the views from the balcony are absolutely fantastic. The food served in the restaurant is freshly cooked and tastes and the menu has plenty of choices. They also have complementary breakfast. All and all a good hotel to stay in if youre on a trip to shimla.

This hotel is a gem. Located in shimla, it has the perfect architecture and is spacious enough. Its located a bit above the hill and you need a bit of stamina to climb up. The only disadvantage is that the lock and key is difficult to handle. There arent any fans or heaters but I guess that should be fine, given the cool temperature of himachal Pradesh. It might get too cold during winter though. It has a beautiful view outside too with a balcony. However, you will have to call for room service by yourself, else everything will remain the same, including the water in the jug.

Hotel is just ok, but good location and value for money

My Experience here was the worst of all the places i have ever stayed.1.First of all there was no FAN , in he ROOM,2. No water bottles, or towels, or soaps etc in the room for which they had charged us 4000 bucks also there was no breakfast included in this amount .3. I f you order tea in the room , they charge extra for the room delivery which is 15% of the price.4.The staff was not at all good, looked like they all have been slapped by someone from the way they were talking.5.There were garbage in the drawers and dust everywhere, shower was not working, just the tap was .Overall pathetic experience , I would never recommend this, if you have more money they you can book in ROYAL RETREAT, which charges the same amount and provides the best facilities with breakfast .6. If Money is the concern , then you can book in Hotel Dhroov, and many other places from zostel .Accomodation : 1/5Hygiene : 1/5Value for Money : 1/5Food : 3/5.Overall experience : 1/5.

Friendly, prompt, conscientious and helpful staff.Rooms with beautiful views.Bathrooms need some more maintenance and cleaning which the staff do quickly when asked. Furniture and fixtures in some rooms are old and need attention.In house restaurant with food at very reasonable prices.All in all a place we would happily visit again for the experience we had.

After entering the rooms u will forget about the charge of it. The prince suit is the best room here. Get ready to be charmed by the view of pines.

After viewing many hotels around Shimla, and finding most had bad odours, mould, dirt, no parking or high cost issues, we settled for a room at the Pineview Hotel.The good:- room was fairly clean- good view from room- wifi acces provided- working hot water shower- plenty of parking spaceThe bad:- bathroom and balcony doors need planing/sanding/repair to open and close properly- the rooms need some paint and general maintenance to improve the asthetics of the room and hotel overall- had to argue over room to get the deluxe room we booked online. They tried to tell us that we only get a standard if booked online- tea and coffee were both less than desirable.Note: Rooms do not have fans or airconditioning, which may be an issue in summer. We visited in September and found we did not need any cooling.Also, we booked the same room twice over using the same online method and had no issues with thw manager accepting the bookings for the 2nd or 3rd night.If the above listed issues under The bad are rectified, this hotel could easily get a 4 or 5 star review.

Hotel is ok not so good... Room are ok but furniture is broken...room service is bad...staff is not cooperative...we booked rooms with BF and dinner...but staff was not allowing us to order freely for 4 members also...they were again and again saying dont order this dont order that....they spoiled our mood...we got so frustrated to check out early.... So I would not suggest someone to book here ...go for 4 star or above ...not hotels like these who doesnt know the hospitality

This is an okay hotel. Cannot say great stay there but it served the purpose. Definitely 3 star due to family friendly facility with provision of parking.

Nice view from the balcony.... But if you dont want to sit in balcony for view . You will not be able sit in balcony because of very small place .. you will not able to put even 2 chairs ..Good Parking space for visitor !!

Stayed for two days in shimla. Rooms were good and the location was great. However, I would never stay here again simply due to how noisy it is. You can hear doors being closed from upstairs rooms, people taking baths in buckets. The upstairs noise radiates all the way directly into the room below. Not again.

Good hotel, but the hotel rooms doesnt have ceiling fans, due to which we had to sleep very difficultly as in summer also the temperature is a bit high which requires a Fan, so next day we ordered for standing fan from hotel staff and then it was ok, in case of food, the food is good and in case of parking also it has a plenty of space for parking

Lovely place. One can get the whole view of shimla from the balcony. The Mall and The Ridge are walking distance from this place(1to1.5km). Friendly staff and tour operators. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Great Ambience!

Hotel and amenities are quite older but tariff is quite high. Parking is terrible. It took 1 hour to get the car out of parking packed to neck. Meal was Also very costly as per standard.
