Very nice place on top of hill for both religious and tourists persons, the temple is in very good condition at now and all the day bhajan by local people in the temple groundThere is separate portion for men and women for pray to goddess...,......apart from this due top of hill you can see very beautiful view of city, the wind flow on this place all of the day..... my experience is very good for this place and I frequently go on this place with girl friend whenever I feel bored and do enjoy very much of this place............ Very peaceful place, visit Dhingu mata mandir it has nearly 437 steps if you go via market route. You can even drive your car from other side but you can only reach to the monestry then .From monestry to Dhingu mata mandir u need to track ( it is not an easy track but a bit risky time of track is just 7-10 mins ). Dhingu mata mandir is very lovely place to visit. ***** Important point temple is closed from 1-2 pm everyday**** . And you need nearly 45-50 mins to reach to temple from market

I have been this Temple with my family after a long time and find there a new type of construction. The new design of Temple was amazing but little disappointing with its new design. There is no view and its all covered. There should be glass window to enjoy 360 degree view.

Very peaceful and sacred place.Dhingu Mata temple is in Sanjauli approx. 5 km from Shimla.There are more than 400 steep stairs to reach the temple. It is Maa Durga temple. Because it is situated at Dhingu (location) thus it is known as Dhingu Mata Temple. It is 150-200 years old temple.

Its a beautiful temple at sanjauli hills in Shimla although you will have to walk a little nearby is a Tibetan monestry
