The hosts are very hospitable and very welcoming. Their cheerfulness, positive attitude made our stay very pleasant. The service, food is top notch. The location is very peaceful. Usually I dont write reviews, now I know its importance. Before coming to Apple Homes had a very bad experience from another hotel (Tara regency). Host Viki and family was very helpfulcharming, with a positive attitude. The service and food is top class. The view from balcony is amazing, good for WFH, network reception and Wi-Fi was excellent .Thank you Viki and all the best :)

Apple to the Eye.. House to the Heart..From the verdant views that sooth the eyes all day to the crimson hues that steal your heart,The superbly uncorked Lemongrass tea to the magically woven Bread omelettes, this will be a wonderful abode for those wishing to have a trip to Shimla!Its quite homely, the hosts Vicky and Jyothi are quite friendly, polite and empathetic.Would love to come back here, anyday, period!P. S Forgot to have the parathas from here, which I have heard a lot about, next time thats on our agenda... And of course, the snow which capped here during snowfall. This was my 1st ever B&B experience, and this place has set a benchmark for me.Mr. Vickey and his Family are really wonderful and caring.The room we were staying in was very cozy and clean, and the view was to die for. If time had permitted, we would have extended our stay by at least another day!We highly recommend this place and we’ll surely stay here again.P.S. Don’t miss the Parathas they serve for breakfast 😊

Visited in Apple house on 9th October, 2021. The thing that I regret is the hygiene. There was FUNGUS all over the beds and pillows. We didnt notice it first but when we came to our beds at night then, on looking closely we found it. The owner did change the pillow but they didnt change our blankets and we had to sleep that way because we had no other option that night.The chai is very expensive and quantity is very less as they gave it in very small disposable cups. As compared to other home stays, I found the food menu pricey.

One of the best places to stay in Shimla. Far enough from Mall Road to avoid the crowd and near enough to go to Mall Road anytime. Plus the beautiful rooms, views and food is also superb. Vicki and his family personally ensure your best stay.Location: It is about 1 km from Mall Road. The route is quite steep, so I wouldnt recommend for anyone with knee problems. Otherwise, Mall Road is accessible around the clock.Food: The food is very tasty. It has the touch of home cooked food with less oil, etc. The cost is very reasonable.Rooms: We stayed in the Deluxe Room (without balcony). The room had 3 windows giving us a panoramic view of the surroundings. Few photos of the views from our room are attached. It was small and cosy. They also have larger rooms with balconies.Cost: Again, this is very reasonable compared to hotels on or near Mall Road.Would recommend.

Loved the place. The view from the hotel room is very mesmerizing. One can get a good mountain view and can witness the sunset nicely. The rooms are cozy and wooden crafted which gives additional touch to the room. Most importantly the room and the washroom are well cleaned and hygiene. The staff are very caring and friendly. They also helped us with the homemade food and arranged taxi for local sightseeing.

This place is well connected with Bus stop which gets you to the Old Bus Adda.Coming to the stay, the room we had over-layed was spacious, attached balcony which gives you scenic view of mountains and an Army helipad 😍..wow!!Room was provided with a fridge and kettle and an extra quilt keeping in mind of temperature drops during nights which you may need, so provided before hand.They also offer to get your breakfast and thats at additional charge.But what I believe anyone would like to have a menu card mentioning dishes along with their prices so one can have fair options to choose from available varities and also fairly have an idea of their extra bucks to be.Only this I felt was missing ..rest everything was fine.Owners were welcoming and helpful in nature.

Only the view from this b&b is good... Otherwise they make fool customers.. If u dont ask price of any food what u order they make very high charge... Like they charge one small cup of tea 50 rupees.. Jo bahar 10 rs ki milti h... Just making money...

Good place right beneath Loreto convent. Proximity to victory tunnel, railway station, bus stand etc are some advantages to the location. You might have to walk uphill about 300 m to reach main road though. Prefer booking cab for site seeing from Apple house itself since they will give you best price. Rooms and host are superb with all required amenities! Breakfast, dinner can be arranged by host if needed !

Really loved the stay..very cosy and very serene. The view from the balcony is still in my head. Hosts are very friendly, helpful and humble. The food they prepare is delicious esp the parathas. The best part is that this place is a little away from the Mall road...a km or so...and hence it is very peaceful...it was almost like Id stay in this place for a month and be rejuvenated. I am back home but I would love to come back and stay here only.On our last day Mr.Vicky arranged for a cab for us at a nominal cost for Chandigarh, knowing that other cabs were charging too high.Thank you very much for the stay. It made our trip memorable:)))

I was there at the Apple house for 2 days. Its an amazing place. The view from the balcony was mesmerizing to see stars and moon in between the hills. The location is also nice to roam around and peaceful. Vicky and his wife treated us like a family. He informed us many things to see in Shimla. Id surely recommend others to stay here to get a live witness of actual himachalis way of living.

We visited this place during long weekend and stayed here for 4 days. The place could be easily found. Owners were cooperative and helping. Rooms were a lil small to as you would expect but the care taken by Jayoti and Vicky was more than enough to make for it. The view from hotel was quite and peaceful. Food was so great that we had dinner also here everyday instead of any restaurant. ✅ Well definitely visit you guys again when we are in shimla.From - Pooja

Best place to stay in shimla if you want to stay near the city. The view is magnificent and so are the rooms. Mall road is just 5-10 minutes walk away. The host, jyoti didi and Viki bhaiya are very friendly and helpful, they will also help you with providing cabs at reasonable price.

The location needs you to climb for 10min and if u r taking cab d way is very narrow and on top there is no sleeping facility for drivers the parking also is chargeable.The rooms are very small. But the view of ground and helipad is good. Its a homestay and all equipments are new.We were here in winters so the side of door were letting the chilling wind pass over making it extremely cold.

Its a fabulous place to stay if you are vacationing in Shimla. It is a Bed & Breakfast (B&B) property.Pros:1. Just 1 km away from Mall Road2. Mr. Viki and his wife Mrs. Jyoti are very warm and knowledgeable hosts. They can help you out in arranging cabs, bikes and even porters.3. Although we only had breakfast at the property, I liked the food. Mr Viki makes the best Upma I have ever had in my life.4. The views from the room are just amazing. Each morning after bath, I used to sit near the window for 5-10 mins just to absorb the views.5. The room was clean and washroom had a dependable hot water supply.Only con is that that the way to the Mall Road is a steep uphill walk during initial 500-600 meters but that shouldnt discourage you, unless you have old folks with you or people who absolutely hate walking uphill.

Nice place to stay in Shimla give feel of wooden house and fantastic view from window. However they do not have backup when power failure.

This place is pretty hyped and majorly MONEY-CENTRIC*. Not really the value for money they charge for. I would want to give a detailed review for my stay in the series of events experienced.1) While confirming the booking I had requested for balcony room, which they denied saying rooms are full. On the contrary when we checked-in there was no one else residing at the property.Got to know about this later. Also to reach from station to Property they we ready to arrange cab at 200 bucks, we got it for Rs 100 from local taxi provider.2) The property is Bed & Breakfast but the care taker (Pawan) himself told us there is no chef currently. Also the owner (Viki) was not in town and he didn’t knew how to cook & emphasised to eat in nearby restro where we would get food at less price in comparison to the property. Surprised to know the caretaker himself telling same.3) The only place in our sight seeing list was Narkanda for which we already booked taxi from outside but the care taker(Pawan) insisted on his own to take us there. Earlier asked for 2000 bucks, later agreed to 1800 bucks for entire day for a single place.4) On the way, he (Pawan) borrowed 5000 bucks and ask to transfer online which he had to repay to someone else for personal work and assured us he will return cash on the return journey.We trusted him but this was unprofessional again.5) While returning he(Pawan) complained of being late and charged us 500 RS extra telling us there were guests waiting to be checkin and he locked the property while accompanying us. Highly irresponsible and put blame on us and yelling about reviews that would be received when he himself asked to take us to Narkanda. He shouldn’t have accompanied us in the first place if there were check in lined up.He forgot about the 5000 bucks and assumed it will be adjusted during checkout.6) This property is approx 2km walk from railway station & 1.5 kms walk towards Mall Road on inclined surface which isn’t happening.7) Rooms provided us were compact, rather small. The mountain view would be more appealing in extreme snowy winter or monsoon, the perception can definitely vary.8) They are biased in treating their clients. Care taker (Pawan) cribbed about the reviews all the time on the contrary we were never even asked to give one. Of course it’s understood.9) They are so unprofessional and lacked genuine etiquette’s that while checking out only cared about clearing the dues( even from which they paid us Rs 20 less ) and forgot to ask about the room keys which remained with us. After 4 days of checkout and not until we we shared our feedback we got call from property calling us shameful for not returning the keys which proves they are so money oriented. Having said that we were still ready to return the keys if they arranged for courier charges since they already shelled our valuable money.

We were there in the Apple house on 26th & 27 December 2020.It was really a nice place to live in Shimla. Balcony view is super Awesome. Once we reached there all my friends just said one word thats its awesome and full paisa wasool.Jyoti Sharma ji and Vicci Rana ji both are very coperative and arranged everythjng in a superb manner.Thanks to them for making this trip the super awesome.

Without doubt one of the favorite place to stay in shimla. I stayed during December month after covid relaxation! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the hills View suite. The staff was extremely friendly, deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.The second day we did a Outing to ridge,mall Road shimla,lakkar bazaar and so many places which was guided by Mr vicky, owner itself in the hotel.Vicky is such a warm personality and highly motivated person to solve our queries about locality. The scenery was beautiful from our balcony and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural view and morning bliss from window was awesome and closing of day with bonfire at night was best.Note, this is not a 5/5-star property to stay in shimla or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the Mrs Jyoti,Owner of the property who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Love the Everything we experienced there. Much love to them and will visit soon.

Its a home stay not a hotel. But the location is really good. You can enjoy nature view from the top of this place.1.1 km from Mall Road, 500 m from Victory Tunnel and The Ridge, 1 km from Railway station. Circular Road is a 20 minute walk from the bed and breakfast.Food is good.Its little difficult to locate it on map specially if you are going with your car.And dont book it using OYO.

Though it was very impromptu booking and I was scared how it would be but it was beyond my expectations. Very well behaved staff. The owner Mr. Ajay was so helpful. Small and cozy place in Shimla, located a kilometre from Victory tunnel.Hosts was super friendly and so were the support staff. Stayed here before starting for a trek, and the staff helped us with some great food.Rooms are warm and cozy, with a balcony view of the entire city, which is very scenic and can spend hours relaxing with a hot beverage.Ask the host for transport options, and they are helpful enough to arrange one for you. Because this place is close by to the one bus-stand, it makes commute extremely easy within the city.Overall, felt the place was affordable and friendly staff and host helped us with with flexible checkout, with some great food and cozy quaint room made our stay extremely pleasant.Only drawback I see about this place is the approach road to the stay, which is extremely narrow and cannot be reached by SUV vehicles. Do plan accordingly to reach the place.Would definitely recommend this stay.

I stayed at this place for 3 nights and the experience here was just amazing.The view from my room was the golf ground of shimla with the chopper standing there. Had a really great experience while watching the takeoff and landing of the chopper.The property is build between the greenery of this hill station where you recite in peace and harmony.No city noise and no pollution, come here and relax.Cheers to the Apple House Team.

HiI stayed here food was tasty like it 4/5 but too costly..Heater was chargable...Location is inside the main road car wont go have to walk 👣 300m from main roadOnly thing is from balcony we will have the helipad and polo ground view and its cost is high that i feenWhen i been to manali i got it in 1/2 price with best location and service than the appleI would suggest heater or hot water bag supposed to give as we are booking and price is also hight.

Location: If youre old & cant trek much, then it is not for you as it is not directly connected to the main road and only small cars can reach there easily, it is a 2-5 minute trek to reach to the main road & almost 20-25 mins. full trek to Mall road. But if youre looking for a peaceful place and can trek easily, then youre good.Food: There are not a good option nearby outside the hotel, so youve to go with the hotels chef only and the quality & taste of the food is great there, they can improve their tea taste btw, we ordered veg mostly & eggies and they were delicious. Last but not the least, their prices are very reasonable.Room & Bathroom: Again rooms are on 1st & 2nd floors on a wooden structured house having wooden stairs, so youve to use stairs in any case. Rooms are cozy, almost fully wooden interiors roof & floors. It feels like a Guest room in your home, with a LED TV, wifi, kettle and few tea coffee things, two chairs & a small table alongwith a double bed with small sidetables. Bed size is not so big not so small. Bathrooms are clean with sufficient space.Room service: Room service is quite well, dont hesitate to call, they are more than happy to serve you upstairs on every call, if you dont have heater in your room, then it can be available too in additional Rs. 350Window/Balcony View: As my room wasnt having any balcony, so it was quite missing, otherwise the view to the valley from window was great, it was a green valley view alongwith a big grass field - It is basically their USP.

Our room at Apple House was spacious, bright and looked pretty new. We had great views from the room balcony. The guy that runs this place was really helpful. He arranged a free pick up from the toy train station, a taxi to the bus station and also booked our outward bus to Rishikesh even though it meant one less night at Apple House and therefore him missing out on money. The location is 20mins or so from Mall Road - it was nice to be in a more peaceful area.

We pretty much liked the room which are wooden and while at our stay we came came from other hotel which was much colder than Apple House...I personally prefer wooden property. Hotel apple house is a wonderful small hotel with individualized rooms.Great HygieneThe hotel is located bit far and it takes 30 mins to reach The Ridge. The first 10 mins walk from the hotel is the most tough due to steep climb. The later part is still manageable. The rooms facing the valley provides a beautiful view and lots of sunshine during the day. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The mattress and bedding was in good condition. The infrastructure itself is not 100% soundproof as you can hear voices from adjacent rooms but not so bad overall. The staff was courteous and supportive. Overall, it was pleasant experience.

Really nice view. Electric blankets or heaters available. Neat place. Access to the location is difficult. Vehicles wont go and need to walk through the steep road.. with kids and luggage it will be really difficult since the staff wont come to pick up your luggage.Staff seems lazy to provide food or other services.

I really cant express the appreciation I have for this hotel. I thought I would have the usual hotel experience, instead I left with a few new friends. The owner Ajay made sure that everything was perfect and nothing was needed. He goes out of his way the service his clients with anything from rides to dinner to shopping trips. He really made the trip special. On top of that the rooms are huge, with views that overlook the Shimla golf course and helipad. My favorite thing about the rooms was the fresh smell of wood through the property. I couldnt think to stay at shy other place.

Wow wow wow......Excellent property, wonderful view of annadale from our room.....lovely rooms with wooden panelling ... .Yummy 😋 food. ... Actually it was a home away from home..... Water 💧 shortage was there but was managed well by the staff ... Hope we visit Apple House Bnb soon.... Keep up the good work. Will surely recommend it to friends and family.

A lovely place.. . Stayed for 3 nights with family.. . The owners Mr. Akay and Mr. Vicky were very helpful.. . The family room overlooks the mountains.. . Mr. Ramesh the chef makes the best aloo parata in Shimla.. .. Old people who have breathing issues will face some issues.. . Nevertheless they arrange for coolies and vehicle to drop and pick luggage.. .

Good hotel for stay. Good hospitality. Price are reasonable. Seems somewhat far from main road, had to walk to reach.

It was indeed a pleasant stay out here. Excellent hospitality offered by apple house. Would certainly love to visit again.

Hotel is neat and clean. But if you have a big car then it can not go upto hotel since roads are narrow and stiff. So you have to always depend on them to go anywhere outside hotel. Food served first day was stinking but next day onwards it was okay.

Well a must experience property if you are in Shimla. Good staff and with all new amineties as it’s a new property. A beautiful view of golf course. Neat and clean property and they serve fresh and tasty food. I came for two days but stayed for long. Will suggest all of you to come and stay and enjoy the services and a beautiful view. If you really want to sit in peace for sometime this is the best place to come and stay.

Went with my family and the stay was good, refreshing and a homely feeling. Wooden flooring and comfortable rooms. One of theach best thing was the view from the rooms. Service decent....as it is B&B concept

Bad location (very far away from the famous Mall road, about half an hour walk up hill), no reception located within the B&B itself, no complimentary breakfast for a B/B. Wi-Fi was available, but seldom worked.The room was not clean upon arrival.However, the only saving grace was the view, very picturesque.
