We had a very interesting discussion with Mr Anil Bhardwaj who came across as a very knowledgable and reliable operator of multiday tours into the valleys north of Shimla. Mostly Toyota Innovo cars but some sedans also available. We were tempted but decided the weather was not good enough (nighttime zero temps in march) this time but maybe come back. Bandbox has had positive references in UK national papers a few years ago but little recently pops up on google search so I think that should be corrected.Instead we booked a private car for one day sedan drive to Rishikesh as direct buses appeared non-existent / impractical. The driver’s name was Bubli; he proved excellent and friendly. I would strongly recommend people to consider BandBox.
