Amazing place to visit

Nice place to sit and relax in green view surrounding.

This place provides beautiful view of the The Ridge and the mountain ranges / Himalayas.Benches are placed here for people to sit and enjoy the all around view.In old times you would pay for the use of the benches kept at the this location and thats from where this place derives the name as you had to pay a taka to use these. Now the use of the benches is free. And a beautiful water fountain is also there at this location.

Taka Bench is a tourist places. It is generally used for having a relax time.It is situated just next to Christ Church and Jakhu Temple Way.Enjoy!!

This place is superb for visiting anytime with family or alone. Famous for the outside visitors and as well as for the local residents of Shimla. Sharmas Golgappe(Pani poori) fruit chaat bhandar and bhel Poori very tempting. Mehandi wala is also sitting there is very famous. One Chana groundnut pudiwala is sitting nearby statue of Bapu Mahatma Gandhi is also very famous. Children are also enjoying horse riding. Summer festival is really awesome event during June month every year except last year. Church is also incredible. Last but not the least you can enjoy lot of dishes and wooden items shoping nearby Lakkar Bazar.

The small snack stalls here vend tasty food . you are close to nature as well. Book Cafe is also coming up at this place .

Though quite interesting food 🍲 but not at all hygienic not a certified one and cause for cholera nowadays
