To raeach here you also use a lift maintained by shimla government you just pay Rs.10. lift is nicely maintained double floor. You left 1 lift and after few step walking enter into 2nd lift... And after left 2nd lift you reached top means Mall Road. Must visit to this popular tourist place.

Ridge in Shimla is the the most visited place. One should surely visit Ridge if he goes to Shimla. This place provides a perfect view of Shimla. Nearby are various restaurants and Bank ATM shops for purchasing souvenirs. From new bus stand you can visit directly to Ridge. Training command of Indian Army Headquarter is also near Ridge in Shimla. You can go to to Kufri adventure hil for adventurous activities.

The area maintained and very clean the roads were very clean you can obviously you can roam aroundat the Mall road very safely as there were the police officers interest and in casuals as well to keep the safety of you and others while wearing mask and properly sanitizing the whole area also their horse ride their kids were enjoying a lord there and the number of shops to eat like chole bhature chaumin sandwiches and ghar ka khana as well that we ate at one dhaba who made all the food themselves and the food was very very tasty also my kids eat ice cream which was on the Mall road and we enjoyed the a lot also we spent about 3 hours there but we were not able to judge the time spent so quicklyobviously park your car at the lift parking and you can take the lift and come to the mall road directly

The Mall or Mall road is the central part of Simla. All the shopping activity is on this road and the roads parallel to it. Be prepared to walk though. Most brands are having their outlets here plus you can pick some good woolen and ladies wear at a reasonable price. At the center of this road there is the Fire Brigade office and Police HQ. Both are set in Victorian architecture. Very beautiful. In the evenings both this buildings are done colourful lighting. Its absolutely romantic. Just ahead of these buildings you will find the famous Christ Church on the right and Lakkar (wood craft) bazaar on the left.
