Inedible Food.In 2021 there are many choices for food and better places for Indian food.please do not waste your time and money here.Was there for the Sunday buffet this weekend at 2pm. Attached are pictures of the dal makhni - loaded with cream, poorly flavored, and cold. The tandoori chicken was dry and non edible. They had a fish curry with a poorly flavored white gravy, there was nothing Indian in it.The guys in the next table felt the same frustration With the food.Please take your business elsewhere. Not worth it

I ordered food using Uber eat app. Worst experience, it was Stale food , bread were smelling, undercooked malai, kofta was pathetic & full of salt. Rice quality was horrible, not worth at all spending money here

Delicious food and OK service mixed with an odd dining room. Im not sure if we were just there on a bad time or what, but there was seemingly no AC and no ice in our drinks, so everything was sweltering hot. I think next time we will order pickup and eat at home.

Sàffron is a nice place to visit. It is always very very clean and smelling good from the aroma of whatever food they are making. Sometimes, the wait time is very long but, this doesnt happen too often.

The ambiance is nice, maintained clean. When we were there on Father’s day, the server said that they have heavy take away orders so dine inn orders were running late, that was not a problem though. But the food was disappointment. The masala shrimp we ordered was shrimp in plain tomato pure. Masala was missing. Totally. May be because of the rush that day . I dnt know, or else we have heard a lot good about the place and the food.

The food is delicious. The mango cosmo was delightful. It was so nice to finally sit down in a restaurant for dinner. Thanks to the vaccinations. I will be back.

I am of ethnic background. I am a nurse and work in the area. I came in to purchase food and the greeter was very rude. His tone was unpleasant and unwelcoming. When I entered the establishment I was greeted with “what do you need?” His tone was harsh and unprofessional. I will not spend money here again.

The tikka masala tasted a bit of arm pit or some kind of funky body odor that I am not familiar with Indian cuisine.

My go-to place for Indian food in cle! Great for the spicy, adventerous food lover. My favorite is the Chicken tikka masala which is super creamy and however spicy you choose.

Staff is nice and welcoming. They give you option for the spice level you want for your order. This is one of very few places in cleveland where you can find the taste of authentic indian cuisine. The ambience is quite nice and with their new location its easier than before to find them.

Delicious Indian food. They have all the classics. The Vegetable Samosa where large and delicious the rice tender and the garlic pita delicious. They asked me on a scale of 1-5 how spicy I wanted my chicken tikka that I ordered and I said ten. They made sure that i really wanted it that hot, and my wife made a comment that I wasn’t joking. I have a very high heat tolerance and they made it as hot as they could, or were willing to. To me, it still wasn’t spicy enough, but I could tell they took me seriously on my spice level. I had to apologize to the patrons in the restaurant since the tikka came out on a skillet and with that much spice they had to crack the front door open because it was making people cough. Next time I’ll get it in masala form in the hopes that the people I eat next to don’t have to partake in my spiciness. If you like Indian you will enjoy this restaurant!

It’s inside a office building in the Lower Level so as you enter you have to go down the stairs and it’s on your right. Very high class designed restaurant . Staff is great they have amazing service and the food yes it’s good authentic Indian food though my tandoori chicken wasn’t properly marinated in enough spices but everything else was great. Not a fan of their mint chutney either. They also have imported beers from India. It is abit pricey and they do charge gratuity with out asking.

Place has gone downhill. Almost every time they either mess up orders or forget items. Food is okay. Got the butter shrimp and the shrimp was so overdone it wasn’t very edible.Customer service not good either. Tried calling multiple times to resolve issues and just was put on hold for a long time then disconnected.Not impressed with this place anymore. Find a new place.

I ordered delivery through GrubHub and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in Cleveland! My food arrived hot and on time, and it was delicious. Flavorful and perfectly spicy. I had the vegetable biryani and the chicken tikka masala. The biryani was my favorite. My order also came with a side of great yogurt sauce.

A very good fine place. DoorDash delivery was great.I was disappointed with the Tandoori Whole Chicken. I was expecting a whole chicken cut up, but received 4 very small legs and thighs. Maybe they should change the description on the menu.

Placed 2 separate orders only got 1 serving of rice and all food was boxed together. I thought if I told them 2 separate orders they would know to box them separate. Called to inform them and instead getting an apology or the problem being resolved, the response I got was thats how we have been doing it for years. Needless to say, I will never order from them again. I do not recommend. For the price the portions isnt fair. Customer service isnt as great as I would expect. I should have just gotten Chinese food.

Horrible customer service. They messed up our to go order and when we tried to call to get this fixed they would put us on hold for well over 30 minutes multiple times. Food was mediocre.

We did enjoy our meal here, lamb chops were delicious, and tikka masala curry was good too, the only thing we’re not crazy about was the chicken in the tikka massala, it seem like was not marinated before, was not as tasty as the chops, bet over all a really good experience, waitresses were nice and the dessert omg! Was so good! It was like a frozen mango lassi with two gulag jamun on top, it was just perfect.

This is a wonderful little restaurant in the bottom of a large office building. The aroma of good food could be smelled in the parking lot as we arrived. Service was good, a bit slow at certain points. Food was phenomenal, we were also given the ability to pick our spice level. Food tasted wonderful

The best Indian restaurant food Ive had in America! Ive been here for 3yrs and not found a single decent Indian restaurant (although my experiences are only limited to few states). This was the closest to authentic Indian food and I couldnt be happier! I got their Maharaja biryani and aloo paratha and it was absolutely delicious! I have no complaints & I highly recommend

Great service! The staff was kind and polite to me when I came to pick up. It is a very well put together and clean place. I like how elegant it is. Difficult to find though. I ordered the chicken tikka to go and it was very good! However, I personally dont think for the price of 17.99. There is a cheaper place I go to and their version of this same dish has a element to it that is a little more pleasing. Its the texture of their chicken and how it was cooked. It is very tender which I did not quite find as much in your version of the dish even when its still great quality. The sauce is also just slightly thinner than I expected, but still very well done. I like it. Itd be a place Id visit once in a blue moon.

The food there is delicious! With some of the dishes, you can choose a spicy level between 1 and 5. I chose a spicy level of 2 for my aloo gobi and it was the right amount of spicy for me. At the time I went, they had just moved to a new location and had yet to get their liquor license. I would definitely go there again and bring more friends; especially once they get their liquor license.

It was hard to find since its tucked away and you have to drive around in the parking lot to get to it. First impression, clean and very zen atmosphere. I arrived a little past noon and they were just putting out the last of the food for the buffet. There wasnt much variety in food options... But for $10 I understand why. The food was OK... I didnt care for how spicy almost everything was. The wait staff were really nice, helpful and attentive. Hours later I couldnt name one thing I had besides the plain white rice. If I never went back there again, it wouldnt bother me. To each their own, this isnt a place for me but if youre out and about with a friend or family and have nothing better to do between the hours of 11:30am and 2:30pm on a weekday... And like spicy food, give this place a go.

Not a place I would ever recommend for Indian food. Theres nothing that tastes good about the cuisine. For actual good tasting Indian food consider Jaipur junction, tadka, Annapurna, Bombay Chaat. The staff is not sufficiently trained -when I asked them questions about the food they couldnt answer. The only people who eat here are individuals unknowing of Indian food so anything served on a plate called a curry must be the real deal for them. I recommend those folks check out the restaurants above for a more authentic and accurate representation of good Indian food.

STAY AWAY from this restaurant if you are Indian. This restaurant is designed to cater American customers. Great service, horrible food and expensive. Going to Saffron Patch for Indian food is same as going to Taco Bell for Mexican food. I ordered Goan Fish Curry. The fish felt like was probably cooked 2 weeks ago, just put in microwave and served to me. I came home almost sick. Bad. Restaurant already made its reputation and money dont care no more.

Its a buffet. Sometimes good sometimes bad. If you could order on a menu I would give it 4 stars, because their fresh stuff is good, but they moved to a new location and are redoing the menu now.

The service was very good, especially for the large crowd that we had. The food was delicious and there was so much of it. One dish can feed three people. What I especially liked was that the waitress asked how spicy we wanted our food when we placed our order. That has never happened before. The staff was great and attentive. I didn’t give this restaurant five stars because I didn’t like the nonverbal response that we got when we came in and stated that there were twelve of us that needed to be seated. The girl was rude. Thankfully, her attitude didn’t ruin our experience.

The restaurant is not easy to find because it’s in an office building. The place is small, the ambiance pleasant and the wait staff was courteous. Had the buffet, it was loaded with a variety of Indian delicacies and was very delicious, however, the white rice was cold. Because of all the pluses, would gladly eat here again.

My wife and I went here on a Sunday afternoon for their buffet. The food was good, but didnt blow us away.We got there just after they were scheduled to open and there was some confusion amongst the waitstaff about what was and was not included in the buffet, whether they were ready to seat tables, etc. There was no one at the host stand, so we almost seated ourselves after waiting there for a few minutes and seeing a few other people walk right in - turns out they were there with a large party. I think part of the waitstaff were people who were either brand new or were filling in for just that day. It seemed to be pretty disorganized - several of the serving dishes didnt have utensils in them even by the time we were done eating.The place is also tough to find - you have to go into an office building (and then go down one level if you park in the lots that are at the same level as Chagrin). Maybe put a sign in the lobby, or change the sign by the street to indicate that its downstairs?

Good food. They do keep the place a bit cold.

Hired Saffron Patch to cater at my wedding reception. 5 star service and food. We had everything from sushi to dosa and fresh squeezed sugar cane juice. The management was always available to discuss the options. They are very flexible and passionate about creating an experience. Highly recommend them and I cant wait to hire them again.

Went here for the first time today. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the food was great. I cant wait to go back. The waiter even gave us free ice cream just for being first time customers. I had never tried Indian cuisine before and I was not disappointed. Im so happy I went.

This was my first time at Saffron Patch, and the food was WONDERFUL!!! You know when you bite into something & you have to stop & stare at it because you cant believe the flavors in your mouth? Like that! Oh my gosh it was good! We ordered the vegetarian, Dinner For 2 platter - you will not be disappointed. (Although, Taste of Kerala makes far better samosas)... I have to say though; the service is a bit slow & awkwardly executed, which is why I cant give 5 stars. It was saved by how friendly the staff are. I will definitely be back & will probably get the same meal!

Havent been there in a lot of years, so I was anxious to return. Food was very tasty, although not as truly spicy as it is at Saffron in the Valley. Service was a little better than average although the older server hit on my date, which was really inappropriate. Didnt want to end the evening with me getting arrested, so I gave him the pass. The food here is not the same as it was 10 years ago. It tastes americanized. This is weak/fake/partially authentic Indian food. This place also has cleanliness and sanitation issues. I saw one of the chefs put potatoes that he was preparing to cook directly on the floor as he picked them out of a bin. The food is definitely not always fresh nor safe to eat. I would not eat here ever. All of the 4 and 5 star reviews are from people who dont know authentic indian food or good food period for that matter. Im not of Indian descent and know this food is a misrepresentation of true Indian cuisine. This food is far too expensive for it to be fake and unsafe to eat.

I loved the place so much that in just one week i have visited the restaurant twice. It has a very good atmosphere, i loved the decor and the music they have is relaxing. Over all a very good experience.

Great service, we got both the meat and vegetarian appetizer plates. Loved the samosas with the mint and tamarind sauces. They timed the servings so you didnt feel rushed. The rest of the group raved about the pork chops. They give you an option on spicy heat level on all entrees which is nice. The mango ice cream is worth a second trip to try again.

Nice Interior. Nice location. I could see the bunch of red chilies in my plate. I requested to replace with regular, but they didnt. So, I didnt give them the tip. Wow.. their server came and asked for tip when I left. He told me that all servers are working $3.00 per hour. How can they even maintain the quality. I felt a cheap behavior.

Weve tried many different dishes over the years and have never been disappointed. I ask for tai hot and they actually make it spicy enough. The small metal pan doesnt look like a large portion but it is very filling. We have even been there for the buffet in the past and enjoyed it.

Unusual location inside of an office building, which mean limited parking, although there is a dedicated parking lot that is hard to find behind the building. Went for lunch and had the buffet, which was very good. Typical selection of Indian offerings for lunch. My favorite item was the Naan, which tasted something like a delicious pancake. A good deal for lunch and fast service if you get the buffet for lunch.

Their Lunch Buffet on Saturday is the best way to get the 3 Qs everyone loves in restaurants. Quality, Quantity, and Quiet. Its a nice place to take a lunch date or just listen soft Indian music in the background.

Absolutely love the food here, and it comes with excellent service as well. The place can be a little hard to locate on your first visit, but once you get there, it feels like a hidden gem. After being disappointed by a number of Indian eateries in the area, Saffron Patch has become my standout favorite.

Saffron Patch is the best caterer in Cleveland OH.They did such an amazing job for my daughter’s wedding that all the guests are still raving about the mouth watering recipes and culinary skills of the Saffron Patch chef.What a wide range of multi cuisine dishes are there on the menu to choose from.Its a one stop shop where you can get everything from yummy appetizers to tasty desserts for all occasions .Thank you Vir for your exceptional service 👍🏻

The reason I give a 5 star is for effort for the customer service on the floor where did you go George the food definitely has changed I went there the other day the chicken was undercooked I had left a card for the the new owner he never decided to call me I was going to let him know how my experience was. Not impressed.
