Excessive price for mediocre quality. We booked 3 tents for the new year celebration. What we liked:-The tents were very pretty with beautiful block print motifs on the inner hangings and bed covers.-a got water bottle placed in the bed before we retired for the night as well as a small electric heater that warned the tents.-the staff were very friendly.-the cultural program with nice reclining seating with wood fires to keep us warm. What we didnt like:-no kettle in the tent to make tea or coffee.-cheapest tea and coffee quality at breakfast with no options. Only Brooke bond and Nescafé.-no custom eggs options at breakfast.-cheap white bread toasts.-poor service in tents. Ordered hot water which never came.-no hot water in bathrooms.-over-charged for camel ride. We paid 3000rs for sun set ride and instead were given 15 min walk around in front of gate.-food in general could be better given the excessive price.

Once in a life time experience. The campsite was amazing. Well ordered and clean. Overall, every aspect of our stay here was memorable. The night performance was great, the musicians and dancers were very talented and even involved the audience. It was great to watch and listen to the traditional style of music while sipping on delicious drinks and even better Indian entrees. The food was the best we have had so far (during our past 7 days in India) and the waiters and servers were extremely helpful. Last but not least, I highly recommend the sunrise camel ride. While you do have to wake up early to catch the sunrise it is definitely something not to miss! I would highly recommend staying here during your time in India!

This place was a great way to escape from the busy streets and noise of the city. The camps were plush and accommodating for couples and families. Having a large spacious tent for breast lunch and dinner right at the camp grounds helped to retain the simplicity of the surrounding area. Safe and guarded from people and fenced in from animals. This place has been designed with minimal modern activities to retain its cultural heritage. This does not mean that there arent things to do. Camel riding ride before sunset is perfect for photos of the surrounding area to safari sand dune rides through the country sides were cool, to night time fire pit Indian songs and dance shows nightly.

The resort is good but the tent experience was not good. The food at the tent is extremely poor. Vegetarian would surely face problem with the food. Facility within tents are excellent. Location is perfect for a tent stay. Well secured extremely cooperative team , ready to help on every thing. Excellent evening cultural program makes the visit better than expected.

I will try to do fair review. First of all, it is a luxury tented camp. There is all you need in your tent and it is quite lovely. You have a lot of space even in the cheaper tents, a heater for the night, a really good bathroom and energy. The other tents are arranged in a half circle, it looks beautiful. On the top of the little hill is the dining area with quite a view of the dessert landscape. You will get a nice evening entertainment with local music and dancers while eating some snacks. The dinner was really good with top Indian food. You can book a camel ride to the sunset, I personally recommend. And also a jeep safari with action downhill dune rides and some wildlife. What I really disliked was the not necessary scam with the jeep safari. E.g. you pay extra for 2 person ride, say 2000INR per person, to get a private tour - so far so good. If it is a 4 person trip it is around 1500INR per person and less for six people on the jeep. But they put you in on a jeep with other people and scam the money you paid for a private trip. I didn`t mind the company, but thats audacious...I don`t need to remind, that you pay extra for everything. Also everybody there is waiting for extra tips. It is already quite expensive...Last thing, they dont bring you back to the hotel area (5km away) you started from, they force you and your driver to meet them at a checkout point at the roadside, because it is more convenient for them. As I said, it is already expensive and unworthy of that kind of service.

The complete Rajasthan desert experience! Very well appointed luxury tents. The tents are heated inside and the washrooms have nice hot and cold running water. Could put some 4 star hotels to Shame with the quality of tents and service. Never expected this level of luxury in the middle of the desert and among the sand dunes! Lovely views of the sunset on camel back, followed by a fantastic song and dance performance! Great food and drink with impeccable service! Absolutely surreal!

My time at Manvar was a unique experience in a clean and well maintained camping ground. After settling in at one of the lowest priced tents, I went on a camel ride through the desert and enjoyed dinner with entertainment from local musicians. Staying one night here was incredible and worth the money.

Ok. Nothing great. Looks beautiful at first look but then you realise a few hours down that is not really worth it. The excursions are very steep and not at all value for money. The sights in the excursions are stage managed. Food is so so and variety is missing. The food tends to get cold in the service. The staff tend to lean and show preference towards the foreigners and try to give them extra service ignoring the other guests. The rooms are decent, nothing luxurious andnothing great. Could give it a miss. Not a value for money.

Nice camp to rest a night away from it all and admire the stars. The bedding is hard. Provide a little wool for the evening (travel in November) because it is quickly fresh.Interesting traditional music and dance show.
