Id tried to replace a battery in my Dell laptop at home over the weekend but failed, so I took it into Care Computers just after 9.00 am this morning (18OCT21).The gentleman I spoke to said that normally repairs have to be booked in (theyre pretty busy at the moment) but that he would try and fix it on the spot - which he did.I was only in the shop for under 20 minutes and the job was done perfectly. Im writing this on battery power!!The gentleman (sorry I dont know his name) was very professional and approachable, and he gave me good advice on other laptop related matters, in conversation, while working on the repair.Ive used Care Computers in the past on previous laptop issues and will continue to do so when necessary, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Took my perfectly good laptop in for an hard drive upgrade and the price was cheaper than they initially quoted and it took about 4 days which is reasonable. But got the laptop back and it kept giving error reports and issues with the hard drive so took it back in and was told theyll make it a priority case as its a return job but they are busy . (5 days later not including the weekend because they are closed) had no word had to chase them 3 times and they gave me an update didnt sound right soo I asked them to just return laptop it no longer blue screens with issues but now just has to repair hard drive every boot and tell me windows isnt installed properly. Soo 9 days to install a hard drive that is faulty

Excellent service, replaced an unservicable hard drive, upgraded PC to Windows 10 and gave an 8 year old PC a new lease of life.

My laptop, on which I am dependent for work, had a crash. It could not be repaired economically, but Ken transferred all my data to a replacement device and did so at a cost I thought remarkably reasonable considering the time it had taken. I am lucky to have them close at hand.

This place is awesome, my son (a gamer) had tried to replace items on his hard drive and had not connected it up properly. Almost and hour later Ken had sorted the problem and helped him put it back together. Cannot rate this place enough! Fantastic service and advice. Highly recommended.

My Dell laptop would not start up and Ken at Care Computers completed a full diagnostic test and found the motherboard had failed. He was very diligent in sourcing a replacement - this was not easy as the part is now out of warranty and Dell are not the easiest company to navigate around! In a few days though the part was delivered and Ken fitted and tested. Im delighted with the service provided, Ken kept me informed throughout and was good to communicate with. Care Computers was recommended to our company by a supplier and they quickly resolved a lot of outstanding issues we had with our IT. Minor issues are now resolved quickly via remote support and engineers are available at short notice when required at the office. Communication is great too.I have recommended Care Computers to anyone suffering with IT problems. We now have backups and our email is in the cloud with the server to follow soon.

Care computers have just re-installed windows 10 for me as it was continually freezing. The computer is now much quicker and a pleasure to use again. I would recommend using this company as they are friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. They ensured that everything was re-installed again including office and all my old emails. The only improvement they could make is to turn the jobs around a bit more quickly. However they still met my expectations as they informed me in advance that there were quite a few jobs ahead of me. Keep up the good work lads !!

New laptop and previously used printer not talking to each other to the extent that printer options severely limited. In spite of 2 weeks of searching and trying out various suggestions such as uninstalling the printer to taking down all the firewalls!!!!, did any support group/forum suggest the solution which Care Computers used to set my printer free with boundless options. Also very quick to respond with a home visit and I am now able to get fully immersed in Photo printing again. Great job.

After nine years of use my desktop refused to speak to me, even though it consistently recognised my password. I had no access. Care Computers diagnosed a corrupt profile (User profile cannot be loaded). I thought Id lost everything but Care Computers got into my machine and was able to rebuild my profile (well done, Ken). Now the PC and I are close friends once more. No hesitation in recommending Care Comps - friendly, efficient, extremely capable - and all at a sensible cost.

Not the experience id expected judging by other reviews. Dropped my laptop off on the Thursday morning and was told they would get back to me maybe before the weekend. By Monday afternoon id heard nothing so phoned to check. Was told the engineer was out and to phone back the next day. Tuesday lunch time I phoned up to be told me laptop was in bits and theyd be in touch. By Thursday afternoon id still not heard from them, at this point I was starting to wonder if id just given my laptop to a front for a computer theft gang. When I was told the same message as Tuesday, I had to stop the girl and explain that I didnt believe it took a week to investigate a fault. She did apologies and promised to push this through as urgent (I dread to think how long routine takes if urgent takes over a week).In fairness, the engineer phoned me back a couple of hours later, only to tell me he couldnt fix it.Care computers: a waste of £36 and a waste of a week...

I had someone hack into my laptop, made a call to Care Computers in Windsor and spoke with Faris who was very understanding and talked me through a few simple steps (Im rather clueless when it comes to IT). Unfortunately, the Hackers were still tapping into my details in the background of my laptop! I called again and spoke with Alex who kindly invited me go and see him. He was very professional and listened carefully to the problems that I was experiencing on my laptop. Not only did he resolved all the issues I had with the Hackers, he actually downloaded a program to help protect my data in the future.
